Despair hangs over the Rukongai as disappearances have become too numerous to ignore. Clues from the disappearances have all pointed to the same thing: Werehollow, a terrifying group of bipedal wolf based Hollow that hunt in packs and can shapeshift into normal looking people. Frightened, the Rukon Citizens must band together to find the Werehollow among them before they're slaughtered one by one. But fear not Rukon Citizens because there are Shinigami hidden among you!

There are two sets of rules governing the Day and Night Phases of the game. Werehollow shall attack in the night and Rukon Citizens shall lynch one of their own in the day. Each phase lasts for 24 hours or until everybody has voted.

Werehollow Goal - Pretend to be a Rukon Citizen and dwindle the population down to equal numbers or less. Meaning, 2 Werehollow and 2 Rukon Citizens (or one Rukon Citizen and a Shinigami) or 1 (or 2) Werehollow and 1 Rukon Citizen/Shinigami.

Rukon Citizen Goal - Lynch the Werehollow!

Day Phase:

- This is the time to communicate with each other and discuss strategy.
- There are no rules about in thread conversation - tell the truth, fib, or down right lie.
- Pro Tip: Don't reveal your role.
- During this time, I will ask everybody to vote (in this thread) about who to lynch.
- Majority rules - so lynchee, you better plead. In case of a tie: I'll let a random generator pick.
- Once you're lynched, you're out of the game and your role is revealed. And we thus move into the Night Phase of our game.

Night Phase:

- Everybody must halt all discussion of the game - you're asleep.
- The Werehollow, Taichou, Fukutaichou, Third Seat, and Rukon Rebel will perform their roles.
- The Taichou will request to see the role of one person via a PM to me.
- The Fukutaichou will guard one person via PM.
- The Third Seat will follow someone.
- The Rukon Rebel can attack someone.
- Werehollow will know each other and won't be able to kill each other.
- Werehollow will unanimously pick an individual to slaughter via PM and then tell me who that person is. If there is no unanimous pick, random number generator shall decide.
- I will announce the morning and who was killed. The role will be revealed.

- And Dead Men Tell No Tales. So no IC chat if you are dead.

[Roles]

Good:

Rukon Citizen - The boring but practical normal. You get to vote during the day phase, and sleep at night. Hope you don't die.

Taichou - The ace in the hole for the Rukon Citizens. At night, can divine one person to see their role. You best be secretive though, as the werehollow want your blood first and foremost to protect their identities!

Fukutaichou - The protector of the Rukongai. Can protect one person at night, and that person cannot be killed by the werehollow that same night. The Fukutaichou CANNOT protect themselves. You must protect others.

Third Seat - The, for lack of a better word, stalker of the village. Can pick one person at night to watch. Should this person be attacked, they will learn the identity of one of the werehollow.

Neutral:

Rukon Rebel - Someone who came to the village under the guise of night and heard of the curse affecting it. Has a 25% chance to kill someone at night, and can either hinder the werehollow... or help them. You don't have to publicly announce your good or evil intentions, but a PM to me shall add flavor to the game of your intentions. Should the Rukon Rebel make a successful kill, they cannot kill anyone in the next round, so as to not attract any unwanted attention.

Evil:

Werehollow - You are a part of a terrifying group of bipedal wolf based Hollow that hunt in packs and can shapeshift into normal looking people during the day. Werewolves CAN vote for other werewolves in the day phase to protect themselves should the need arise.

[Sign Up Sheet]

The roles will be determined via random number generator after the list is full/sign up is over, so for instance, 2 could be Taichou, 4 and 1 Werehollow, 7, 8, 6, and 5 a Rukon Citizen, that sort of thing. As such, pick whatever slot you want. Repost the sign up sheet with your slot to join. Use the latest version, meaning the last person's post with the sheet. You can add on numbers if the sheet is full.

Once again night fell across the Rukongai and the Rukon Citizens that populated it were hunkered down in their homes, doors securely locked and windows shut. There had been another murder the night before and the remains had been found that morning. A conclusion had been reached that there were Werehollow afoot, hiding among the people. Starting the next morning, they had all agreed to start lynching possible suspects, but for now, for yet another night, the Werehollow were free to come and go as they pleased; or so they thought. One among the Rukon Citizens was on patrol, a Rebel of sorts, whether they would help or hinder had yet to be seen, but they were not alone in their night time activities, for three Shinigami had been sent to protect the Rukon Citizens; a Taichou who happened to be an extraordinary detective, a Fukutaichou skilled in combat to guard the innocents, and a Third Seat who had been sent to stalk suspects.

It was going to be a busy night.

[Day Phase One]

Storm clouds from the north blew across the sky and blocked the light of the moon from reaching the world below as time dwindled down to the wee hours of the morning. Nothing had stirred since the Rukon Citizens barricaded themselves in for the night, not even a mouse, until now. Gold eyes gleamed with an inner glow from between two houses. It was from their direction that the low rumble of ravenous stomachs came. The eyes blinked out of existence as quickly as they came, or so it seemed to anyone watching, for the two Werehollow crept round the buildings to the back of one home... the home of their target... but alas! Waiting there for them was none other than the Fukutaicho!

The Fukutaicho bravely defended the home of the would be victim. The Werehollow split and ran for their lives! Unfortunately, waiting in the wings was none other than the Rukon Rebel who had nothing better to do that night than hunt! The Rukon Rebel flung themselves at one of the Werehollow and engaged them in an epic battle of claws and other sharp bits! It was a battle which lasted for hours. By the time it was through, a Werehollow lay dead in the streets and as the Rukon Citizens came spilling into the streets, the furred felon was reverting to its smaller form of... Nod!

Unfortunately, even though no Rukon Citizen had died, only one Werehollow had been caught. Surely the other would return that night to avenge its fallen comrade. After Nod's body was disposed of, the Rukon Citizens and those hidden among them gathered round the old lynching tree, ready for another vote!

Indeed it is. And just to start things off I'm going to make a random accusation by accusing Dect of being a werewolf.

I think, just this once I'm going to side with the known beast, being a bear in this case and vote for Crazy. His boasts of being innocent all time, even after what we know he's read and watched make it so it cannot be. So if he's lying about that then he must be lying about not being a wolf.

But it wasn't me. I don't think I've ever been a werewolf when playing. However I think I'll side with Az and accuse Yuka of this crime instead of Dect.

[Night Phase Two]

And so it was that the Rukon Citizens became divided. Neither side would budge in their votes so at last they decided to leave it to change. Straws were drawn, coins were flipped, and hands were guessed. What it all boiled down to was... Cain was getting lynched! Who would have guessed that fate had it out for the poor fellow? He was dragged, kicking, screaming, and sobbing like a pubescent girl who couldn't get a date for homecoming, to the lynching tree.

A knot, a noose, and a sudden stop later, poor Cain was no more. Unfortunately for the village, he was a simple Rukon Citizen! That meant the predator was still among the others, hungry for revenge! Fearful for their lives, the Rukon Citizens finished their daily tasks before absconding to their abodes for the night, making sure to lock their doors up tight. Who would be the next to go?

[Day Phase Two]

Though worry plagued the Rukon Citizens, the night remained still through and through aside from those who patrolled the streets in silence to oppose the Werehollow. Was revenge still on the creature's mind? Or was it running scared from those who had destroyed its companion? Perhaps answers would be revealed by the light of the sun which pooled through the district upon daybreak, sending the shadows into obscurity while coaxing the Rukon Citizens out of their homes for another round of voting!

I dare say that the creature knows we're hot on it's trail! And it has taken to hiding at night to throw off suspicion. Like before, I dare say that Crazy is the wolf. He too narrowly slipped through that last round and knows it, and in an attempt to throw us off his not so innocent trail, did not act last night.

And why should he have?! Because of our own inability to agree 'we' killed one of our own and tipped the scales a bit more in his favour. Poor... Poor Cain, we shall avenge you!

We must act! Crazy is the monster we seek to rid ourselves of!

I think it was Mal. Undoubtedly he's trying to put the blame on me because I was a suspect last round in order to divert attention from himself. If we do not stop him soon then he shall be the death of everyone.

Mal is quite a suspiciously pallid character...I do believe it him! Mal is the werehollow!
