Originally this was going to be my RP character for a site, but I couldn't get the hair right and blah blah blah.
So I drew one of those cool Russian hats on him and kind of started just going with it. It turned out kinda cool I suppose, but there's a little motion in this picture because he's waving there.
This was also my first attempt at coloring on SAI, though it was just a quick little splash of color on there.
Anyway, this is how it turned out. There were speech bubbles, but I got rid of them.

Just my dresser, edge of my bed and the door to get into my room... I don't think I can really do the whole 3D thing, and stuff is very disproportionate. Need work! So... this was a quick sketch of my character's inner world, which is depicted as: "Described as a mountainous terrain of epic size and proportion, splattered with earthy colors and ranges of red and yellow hues; with every color in between. The landscape is quite beautiful, which an occasional autumn breeze strolls through, giving the area a tranquil, serene vibe. To add to the enormous surroundings, the world has a moderate dojo and training arena, allowing for practice of any sort and occasion. Next to the dojo and Japanese styled 'home', lies a zen garden, filled with sand raked in circles, flora of every shape, size, coloration, and a glorious looking pond with an adjoining waterfall. All in all, the place resembles a place of harmony, relaxation and peace; with a vividly painted skyline seemingly appearing like a sunset."
I wasn't really feeling it, but the raked sand was fun to draw. I couldn't really show the mountain-area, given the angle, but I still need to work on the 3D aspect... Sorry if the picture is slightly blurry, as it was taken on my phone. D: So yeah, I need to practice on landscapes, scenery and the like.

Finally managed to find the time to just sit down and draw. ~_~
Day Three - The body part that is the hardest for you to draw.
So, while hands are difficult for me, nothing is harder for me to draw than feet. I freaking hate feet. Feet stink. >,,> Their poses aren't as dynamic as the myriad of hand poses that exist, but to me, that makes them even harder, because everyone can tell when a foot looks wonky because there is only so many ways to draw one. Each tiny line makes a big difference too. Anyways, about my drawing. The book to the left is my drawing anatomy book. I used two of the images for reference. The top left of my drawing shows a foot in a foreshortened view while the large image is basically a three-quarter profile of the left foot. You should be able to spot the reference pictures on the book page fairly easy if you want. Um... overall, I'm pretty happy with how my versions came out. I actually like the foreshortened one a lot. I feel that what I need to work on most in both images here is proportion, for the larger one more so, because I think the base part of the foot should probably be longer, but the foreshortened version should probably be shorter. Perspective is alright, maybe a little skewed, but I'm a really bad judge when it comes to perspective.

Day Four - A body in motion.
The motion I chose was based off the reference picture to the immediate right of my drawing. I took the leg pose for the picture of a woman stepping toward a door she's moving to open.
I hate the face here. ~_~ I was more concerned about the body, but I should have concentrated on the head/face more. Anyways, the motion isn't as pronounced as I would have liked. I was kind of scared to exaggerate the movement because I'm not quite sure what it's supposed to look like. I'm still at a point where I need a reference for pose or I have no idea what the piss I'm drawing. Pretty happy with how the hand came out. Clothes are bland because I didn't really have a... theme for the picture. Just an action.
Bodies in motion are hard. ~_~

I'm going to restart the challenge from day one starting tomorrow. I feel I've already improved a lot since then though I haven't kept up with the challenge. So if you're interested in seeing what I can do now, this will be the place to check.

1. A character in an opposing role. This could be a Shinigami as an arrancar, a jedi as a sith, a duelist as a card, a super hero as a villain, you get the picture. I had plans to do something like Bulbasaur as a trainer or a worm eating a bird, but, and not for the first time, I couldn't get Koji out of my head. So here is our resident egg producer as an egg himself. I might eventually color this too.

2. The body part you have the easiest time drawing. Nothing which violates the content rules, please. Eyes will probably forever be the easiest body part for me to draw.

4. A body in motion. This picture has frustrated me so much and yes, she has no hands. I can't figure them out at all in this position. Obviously the proportions are wonky with the feet and head and the butt lines confused me too... Anyways, I'd rather post an unfinished picture than not post one at all and this is likely as far as I'm going to get with this one at this point. Despite its problems, I'm still pretty happy with it. I feel like I've come a long way.

5. An object to your right. Sorry about no picture yesterday but I don't do anything on Sundays but what I feel like, so you probably wont get pictures most of them. Anyways, I drew my stuffed Hamish from Brave. It was kind of fun, though the feet and head shape gave me some problems.

A forest! Yeah, this was a while back and I drew it quickly, but I thought it was still semi-cool looking. D: And here's an extra I randomly drew a while back!

6. Your character's inner world. If they don't have one, draw what it would be if they did. It kind of feels like Sumie's inner world being so bland made it harder to draw, at least in a traditional format since I'm used to being able to use color and filters on photoshop to denote texture and shadows.

8. Self-portrait. I think it looks off, but I look off to begin with, so I guess it looks right. The black marking by the hair is the part of my tattoo I think would show.

I forgot to put these up yesterday and Friday I didn't draw because new video games, so my bad! 9. A loved one. I drew my favorite nephew because I wanted to get some practice in drawing children. It was definitely different. I'm not happy with the face shape and I totally copped out of drawing the hands because I couldn't get them right in that scale at all. ~_~ Should have used more room for the picture. 10. Favorite insect or bug. I like dragonflies. Dragonflies are hard to draw. That is all.

11. The outside of your dream house. I don't really have a dream house, but I've always liked the little cottage with a white picket fence look. Probably should have made the roof wider, but meh. I also can't find my ruler, so pardon the lack of symmetry.

12. The likeness of a video game character you have in a game that allows customization, such as Skyrim, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, or the like. Rinrin, my Dokkalfar from Reckoning. Eventually I'll do more than headshots, just not today.

13. Your pet(s). Current or former. In honor of my old snake, Bubby, who passed away last summer. I'm sure he imagined this scenario quite often as Chiki and Miz had a habit of nosing around his cage a lot. There was no way I was going to put forth the effort for his scale pattern. Just too much. @_@ Tomorrow's should be interesting.

14. A day in the life of the c-box. Not much to say here other than drawing a large cube without a ruler sucks.

15. A picnic. Just wanted to do a spin on the traditional ants at a picnic. The ant had a monocle at first, but then I was like... he's drinking from a red solo cup, he can't wear a monocle, it doesn't make sense. As if the rest did. 16. An animal in armor. Starting to think I really have issues with my thought process here. Most people would probably do something like a corgi dressed as Thor or Loki (so many pictures already), but my brain is all, "Nope. Ape dressed as Xena. Gogogo!" So there we have it. Her armor is way to ornate in areas I am not good at drawing (like raised metal), so a lot of the design was left off. Pretty pleased as it's my first time drawing an ape. 17. Your pokemon team or favorite pokemon. Did Furret in my chibi Pokemon style like I did Sylveon the other day. @_@

18. A sandstorm. sdfhsdhfhusadhfsa I don't know how to depict a sandstorm, much less only in pencil. I think if I had done any lessons on values it would have helped. And shading. Idk. I don't like it, but I had absolutely no idea what else to do for it.

I'm stumped on what to do for the next, so it'll be delayed until I figure it out.
