So you see my ass-hattery has overcome your over rule - therefore your blood is our new fragrance cleanser and you're dumb, but the vote on your dumb team still stands because maybe, just maybe, they won't be dumb :/

Well, if I am understanding you all, that's five votes for, which is a majority. To clarify for those who are slow, there are ten players. The leader can't vote, so, five votes in either direction is enough to pass or fail. Additionally, this being the first mission, there shouldn't be too much objection, so we'll just proceed from here.
The team is:
Jeff Kurai Court
All team members have (roughly) 24 hours to submit a PM to me. Please title the PM "Mission One Result", and include either a Success or a Fail. I will announce the results once I have them all. Good luck!
Additionally, I'm already thinking of proposing a change to how voting works. In the actual game, voting takes place in public, and simultaneously to avoid shenanigans and arguments. Simultaneous isn't really possible, but, I'm thinking that when the leader proposes a team, everyone submits a vote to me via PM. I will then tally up the results, and announce them (along with how each individual voted, because that should be public knowledge) at the same time. That way we get some semblance of simultaneous voting, and it keeps the thread a little tidier. What do you think?

That's true. My main hesitation was that if we cut out the public voting, it wouldn't give you guys much chance to interact with each other. For this game, at least, we'll leave the voting in the thread, then, and see how it goes. The only real concern is that the Spies could in theory wait until everyone else has voted, then pool their votes to have a better chance of causing the vote to fail or pass. But, maybe I'm overthinking it. Carry on as you are, then!

I shall do my best *bows and heads out, sword at my side, staff on my back*
Mistress, Court, it shall be an honour serving with you.
And ooc, It's a 6:4 split, right? That seems a bit heavy... May I suggest next game we have a 7:3?

methinks the 6/4 is to give the spies a fairer chance of getting selected for missions.

The rules dictate that the Spies are "One third of the players, rounded up". Unfortunately, 10 puts them at the very low end of being rounded up to 4. Maybe next time, we'll try twelve players, but, 8/4 seems a little unbalanced in the opposite direction. Maybe 14 players would work better, with a 9/5 split. Still figuring this out myself! The 'official' rules technically only go up to 10 players, but, there's always room for tweaking.
Edit - Just waiting for one last person and we'll move on.

The team arrives late at night, preparing their ambush and setting up their weapons before finding a safe place to hide and wait. Soon enough, the rumble of engines could be heard in the distance, and finally, the lights of the convoy came in to view! The large transport trucks had only minimal protection to avoid giving away their position, but sadly, their route had been discovered. When the vehicles reached the ambush spot, the mines went off, creating a brilliant display of fireworks as the ammunition inside went off, the explosions lighting up the night sky. The rocket launchers provided would quickly finish off any vehicles which escaped the blast, destroying the transports and their contents.
The mission is a Success. The Resistance gets a point.
--------------------------
Later on, back at the Resistance base, the operatives had gathered once more. Soon enough, the monitors flickered to life, and a new message was displayed on the screen:
---+---+---+---
Congratulations on the success of your last mission. We are one step closer to achieving our goals.
You seem to have attracted some attention. Enemy forces are now bringing in tanks and heavy armor to replace the equipment they lost. Unfortunately, you don't have the firepower to destroy these weapons, but given their operational range, they will need to stop at the fuel depot at the edge of the city to refuel if they want to complete their journey. This is the only depot in the area which contains the highly-refined military-grade fuel which they require. Destroy it, and all of those tanks will be paperweights.
You will require four operatives to complete this mission.
Operative Crazy has command.
Good luck.
---+---+---+---
And there we go. You now have your next mission. Sorry it took so long. I thought I'd be relaxed about the time limits, but, I've decided that over two days was more than long enough. I'll be a little more strict in future to keep things moving. Anyway, new mission is here, and Crazy is in charge. Please suggest your team, and commence voting (in thread is fine)!

Sorry about the wait. Was a busy day.
"Alright boys and girls, today we're going to have an experiment involving fire, explosives smores and the chemical properties of soil. So I'm assigning Kurai, Yuka and Gaara to help me give the empire a fireworks show that it won't soon forget.
Meanwhile, Mal will use his febreze blood to make this place livable. Could also give it a nice rainbow plaid paint job and some decent carpeting while we're gone.
ANY OBJECTIONS?"

She returns from her quarters after a swell rest and successful victory, stretching but surprisingly ready for another mission, if need be; but that wasn't the case, "I'm a little confused... So it will be Kurai, Yuka, and Aki, including Crazy? Or does the 4 people required exclude the mission leader, meaning he would need to pick another member? I'm also a little concerned for Kurai's well-being." Court yawns and shrugs, awaiting an answer to her question.
"I do think that maybe Kurai should be changed. Mal has a point." She gave a thumbs up and small grin before working her way over to the kitchen to prepare some tasty breakfast. Well, probably cereal, given their living conditions and the like.

To clarify, a leader can select himself as one of the required members for a mission. For example, this mission requires four people. Crazy could select himself and three others (which he has done), or he could just select four people not including himself. Mal could have done the same thing during the first mission, but he chose to send three other people, and not include himself.
Just in case there was confusion!

Won't let you down Cap'n. :v At least not until we fail our mission and I reckon I stand a better chance against enemy fire with three intercepting bodies.
Yeah.

"Ohjeeze, now I am confused!" she said, sarcastically rolling her eyes to be a jerk. Because she could. Eying that cereal, she ambled over and poured herself a serving to munch on. Also because she could.

"Mal I hereby assign you toilet duty too just cuz >___>
The reason why I chose Kurai is because if we have a completely different group of people that increases the odds of there being a spy in their midst. Because I can assure you all. According to the intel we do have a spy in our midst. Thus if we have one person who is much more likely to not be a spy that increases the odds of us succeeding."

That's three votes for, two against by my count so far. Two more to pass, three more to fail. Might make it easier on me if everyone would be so kind as to bold either a definite yes or no in their posts. That way I can tally the votes easier, without having to interpret your inane bickering. I mean your relevant conversation.
