Smelling the blood as he stuck the sword inside of the hollow, was disappointed that it didn't do as much damage as he had hoped. Pushing against the bull in an attempt at some good old fashioned cow tipping, Ryuu immediately stopped when he noticed that the bull had a cero prepared and was about to aim it at him. Jumping underneath the bull, Ryuu put most of his weight on his sword in order to slice the bull's stomach open. While this would be a grievous wound to the hollow, Ryuu wasn't sure if he would be out of the cero's path so he braced his side for impact just in case.

Trying in vain to deliver more knees onto the arrancar, the gorilla was unable to provide any counterattack to Andra's headbutts. Eventually the hollow would meet it's grisly end at Andra's head. Barely anything was left of the gorilla's face.

With such bulk the bull had sacrificed flexibility and thus his neck could not turn any further once Ryuu slid under him. As the Arrancar kept his grip true to his sword he would find that not only was he rewarded with a second, fresh carcass of meat but he had luckily dodged the Cero by simply a hair. It seemed after all the battering, this last attack was the straw that broke the camels back, or in this case the sword that opened the bull's stomach. But what is this?! The dead bull begins to tip over and toward Ryuu whom was under it. Timmmmbbbeeeeerrrr!

Andra pants heavily as during the last few headbutts his breathe was running low. After dropping the gorilla onto the floor, Andra turns around and feels around for his swords with his feet. Upon picking up the only two objects with metallic sounds scraping against the floor he walks back to the gorilla, beheads it and then drags it out of the cave by one of it's remaining arms. The red-eyed devil enters the bone pit once more, gazing over at where he thought the bull might be. Only to see Ryuu dominating the Adjuchas. Andra observes Ryuu momentarily. "Hmm, his moves, they're all sloppy and lack precision.. However his head is definitely in the right place. With a little training, and direction, I'm sure he'll be a valuable asset." he talks to himself.

"Hnn," then it hit him, "These Adjuchas were traveling in a pack. So that means they were advancing in their nature already.. however I could tell their band of Hollow was simply just formed. It lacked a head and a brain. But why attack us? Foolishness? Cockiness? This is troubling as I'm rarely opposed by Adjuchas unless I've already provoked them. I'll need to investigate this further.. but later," he thinks before walking over toward Ryuu.

HUZZAH. Ryuu had not only managed to split the bull open like a pinata but he also wasn't hit by a laser of death. The not getting hit by the laser of death was his favorite part. However Ryuu had forgotten about the part where disemboweled bulls tend to fall down after being disemboweled. Scrambling as far away from the bull as he could, Ryuu managed to utter "Well this isn't..." before the bull fell on his lower half. Giving an 'oof' sound Ryuu squeaked out a, "...good."

Taking a few deep breaths while he adjusted to the bull that was currently pinning him to the ground, Ryuu then began to wiggle his way to freedom. Eventually making it out from underneath the bull, Ryuu staggered to his feet and pulled his sword out of the bull. After giving the blood a taste (it wasn't as good), Ryuu wiped it on the bull then resheathed it."Note to self. Don't let a bull fall on me again." Ryuu coughed out. Taking deep breathes, Ryuu felt the injuries caused by the bull's impact begin to heal themselves. With some luck the injuries would be healed relatively soon.

"Well that was.. unpleasant, to say the least. It is not everyday a pack of Adjuchas attacks pair of Arrancar." Andra says to Ryuu upon approaching him. As he gazes down at Ryuu's victory, he notices the stomach split open, sort of a gruesome sight. After admiring the killshot he tosses the gorilla corpse onto the bull corpse while saying, "Here, a token of good faith; may it pave the first baby step on the path to friendship."

A bit of blood oozes down onto one of his eyelids, causing him to quickly wipe over it with his thumb before it got in his eye. "Hmmm, I need to get cleaned up.." he says, just now noticing his face was soaked in blood.

Luckily for Ryuu his injuries were quickly disappearing. Plus Andra didn't get himself murdered by the large gorilla. Although his face was rather messy from the fight. Watching the arrancar toss the gorilla corpse onto the bull corpse, Ryuu noted that condition of what used to be the gorilla's skull. Resisting the urge to poke it (it looked gooey. How could anyone not poke something like that with a stick, not to mention the temptation of making a gore angel.)

Ryuu instead smiled at the arrancar and said, "Why thank you. Although I must insist that you take the gorilla. It was your kill. Besides I'm going to have enough trouble carrying the two other corpses back as it is." It was true enough for Ryuu. He would probably be able to drag the velociraptor back to his cave in a reasonable amount of time. For the bull he would probably have to cut it into a few pieces and make several trips in order to get all of it back. Not the easiest task in the world but Ryuu was sure he could get it done before any other scavengers tried to move in on his kill.

"If there is a problem with transportation I can very well assist you in the matter. As for your insisting, I must oppose. It is my kill and so I shall do with it what I want." he states, yet again wiping another trail of blood from hitting his eye. Andra looks down at the two piled up corpses before shifting his gaze back at Ryuu. After staring at Ryuu for a second or two, he says, "You may be.. unacquainted with the process of receiving a gift. I would not be surprised as this setting, this very land we Hollow have been exiled into is not a kind and forgiving one."

Andra points over to the velociraptor and says, "Grab that one and I'll lug the gorilla."

"That works too." Ryuu said to Andra as he offered to help him with moving the corpses. While Ryuu was tempted to correct Andra on how much Ryuu knew about the gifting process, he decided not to. After all Ryuu knew from personal experience that there were a few advantages to letting someone think that you weren't as smart as you really were. At the very least the look on someone face when they were outsmarted was always worth it.

Going over to the velociraptor corpse, Ryuu gave a grunt as he lifted it onto his shoulder and began to move forward. Trudging forward, Ryuu attempted to distract himself from his burden by trying to think of uses for the gorilla. If he gave it's pelt a good cleaning it might make a good blanket. Plus there was plenty of meat on it although it might be a bit too chewy. But all in all Ryuu was sure that there was some use that he could find for most of the cadaver.

However being unaware of the process of gift giving and receiving did not necessarily make one less smarter in Andra's eyes. After exhaling a deep inhale Andra leans over and tosses the gorilla up and onto his shoulders. Just a few steps behind Ryuu, Andra would follow. This thing was a hefty sucker but much like Ryuu, Andra kept his mind preoccupied with other things. Such as wondering where he could find an lion-esque Adjuchas. He'd seen a few, just none worthy of skinning for a new coat. Since Andra walks the late, long nights of the Wasteland he had taken a notice to how cold it could get out there.


After several minutes of trudging through the bone pit, Andra calls out, "How is your living situation, by the way."

"It's a roof over my head so i can't really complain." Ryuu responded as they continued to trudge through the wastelands. While the arrancar had proven himself to be useful in a fight and hadn't stabbed Ryuu in the back, Ryuu knew that was only for the moment. Thus he wouldn't give too much information out. At least for the moment.

"What about you?" Ryuu asked Andra. So far, Ryuu had noticed that Andra hadn't given too much information about himself out. Thus Ryuu was curious to find out a bit more about the hollow and what he was capable of.

"I have a few abandoned buildings that I sleep in from time to time in the Rukongai. It's actually more comfy than it sounds." he replies. Andra catches up to Ryuu, just enough to get by his side. He continues speaking, "But I do not have a permanent residence. I am a wanderer.. I like to explore.. investigate.. examine.. I'm sort of an adventure, I guess." Sort of rambling on at the end. Not really sure what to say about himself. There wasn't much to say. After another few minutes of silence sets in, Andra breaks it with another question, "How old are you, Ryuu?"

Well that was an interesting bit of information that he had learned. Making a mental note of that fact, Ryuu continued to trudge onward before Andra asked the about his age. Barely resisting the urge to roll his eyes at the question, Ryuu wondered why everyone seemed to ask that question. He honestly couldn't see why it would matter although he supposed that others might see it differently.

"No idea." Ryuu said with a shrug as they continued to walk. Of course he was lying but he had grown tired of people asking him about his age long ago. Plus whenever he answered that question he felt old.

An Arrancar whom is unable to count? Highly unlikely, but Andra let it slide. I mean, other than killing and eating there was nothing else to do but count the days. At least for some. As they keep on keeping on Andra decides to temporarily make a stop, only to switch the gorilla over onto the other side of his shoulder. After so he was back on track, catching up to Ryuu quickly. "I don't have an exact number but I am estimated around six-thousand years of age.. maybe more. I didn't keep track right away."

Andra didn't care about sharing his age, or the basics of his being. Honestly, this was one of the longest conversations he's had in over a year and he was enjoying it. Ryuu was an interesting Arrancar, but he was to withheld. Almost in his own shell of doubt that's letting him from relaxing. Well, that, and the corpse he was heaving.

"I see." Ryuu said to Andra as they continued walking. Of course this mean that Andra was old. Resisting the urge to make some old person jokes, Ryuu focused on his current burden. He was beginning to feel the fatigue from carrying around the velociraptor cadaver. BUT RYUU WOULD PRESS ON.

"So any interesting stories that you wish to share?" Ryuu asked as the two of them trudged on through the wastelands. Judging by how far they had traveled, Ryuu would say that they were about halfway there. Although the last leg would be the hardest given how exhausting it was the carry the corpses.

Andra blinks and says, "Stories? Sure."

"Once upon a time there were two Adjuchas, one named Kojiru and the other named Crazy. Kojiru was a buff, golden hamster with razor sharp teeth and Crazy was scrawny, evilly demented snake with seven heads. The two were friends since the beginning of Hollow however when they came across the golden eggs of justice they were torn apart by greed. Kojiru, being the dominant of the two, quickly did away with Crazy and claimed the spoils for his own."

He takes a breath.

"But alas Crazy was not finished, he went to the cave of Forbidden Forbiddeness where he began to plot. Meanwhile Kojiru had eaten and digested the golden eggs. Weeks later he laid the eggs and one day when he left his nest to gather food Crazy came around and ate the eggs! Quickly he fled before Kojiru could find out who dd this terrible deed."

Another breath.

"A few days later, the eggs had hatched in Crazy's stomach. Kojiru's golden colored babies ate him from the inside out and everyone live happily ever after.. I think."

That story was...AWESOME. There was comradery. There was betrayal. There was tragedy. Plus this Crazy guy seemed to be really relatable. >____>

However despite how he found the story entertaining, Ryuu had to admit that it wasn't what he was looking for. He was actually hoping to hear a true story about the arrancar's past. Although that did give him a nice insight into how literally Andra might take a request or question. That was definitely something that he would have to remember. "Any personal experiences that you wish to share?" Ryuu asked in a second attempt to learn more about the arrancar's past.

Andra nods and says, "The day I killed a Shinigami..."

"I was wandering out of one of my ex-abodes when I was spotted by an Shinigami. He tailed me for awhile and he went unnoticed but when he tried to sneak attack, I was able to react at the last second. From that strike on it was a hit-and-run battle. Slowly I led him toward the Wastelands, and when I did get him there I was able to take advantage on my home turf. He tried hunting me down as best as he could, however the entire time I was playing around with him."

"It got to the point where leading him on was boring so I decided on making contact. When I did he was good with his sword but was no match for my fists. After I beat him to a pulp I took him back into the Rukongai, and put him on display via grounded pike through stomach. I didn't put his corpse anywhere particular.. just some random street. I left him with all his belongings.. all but his white coat. That was what I took a reminder to my acheivement."

Laughing at the end of the story, Ryuu had to admit that was a good one. It had violence and plotting and conflict and violence (YAY VIOLENCE). Plus Ryuu had to give the arrancar credit, putting the shinigami corpse on display is always a nice addition. Although Ryuu would have just put the the bloody uniform on display. There wasn't much sense in wasting a perfectly good meal.

"Any idea what the general reaction was to the displayed corpse?" Ryuu asked as they continued to carry their burdens.

Andra briefly shakes his head, "Not that I bothered to find out. I left the area rather quickly and luckily I planted the corpse there at an early time, before the citizens were up and about. I am sure that it was an unpleasant sight, to see one of their protectors dead." Andra readjusts the gorilla so that it was leaning on him differently. This thing must've weighed well into two-hundred pounds and it was quite the haul. After a few more minutes, Andra asks, "Are we near your dwelling, Ryuu?"

Sadly the second part of the story wasn't as fun as the first part. One of the many facts that Ryuu had learned in his four millenia of existence was that everyone's reactions to any crimes against humanity was the best part. They were always good for a laugh or two. Smiling to himself as he remembered a few good reactions to some less than savory deeds that he had performed, Ryuu was snapped out of his train of thought by Andra's question.

Observing the area, Ryuu could see that they were pretty close to the cave. Close enough that Ryuu could drag the corpses back into it himself. While it was tempting to have the other arrancar help him put it back into the actual cave, Ryuu didn't want to make the location of his home too public. Despite the fact that he didn't take a lot of extra steps to conceal his location. But better safe than sorry. "Yeah it's pretty close to here. If you can just put the gorilla down I can take it the rest of the way. It's nothing personal but it's just that I don't want to give the location of my home away to someone who I barely know." Ryuu stated as he put down the velociraptor corpse on a nearby rock. Stretching his back and legs out a bit, Ryuu took the oppurtunity to catch his breath.

If Andra really wanted to learn of his living arrangements, he'd stalk him the way there but that was not the case. The red-eyed devil was actually hungry and while not admitting it, his stomach was about to. Before his stomach can rumble he says, "I understand." Once laying the gorilla corpse onto the floor he turns around and looks back at the length the just walked, "Hmmm..," he turns his head back to look over his shoulder, "..I'll be seeing you, Ryuu." Andra begins to walk back to the area in which they just came. He thought the gorilla's arms back at the cave would be a sufficient enough meal to hold him over for the day and so he made way there. And having the burden lifted from his shoulders would make for a faster return.

"See you later." Ryuu said to Andra as he continued to catch his breath. Watching the arrancar walk off, Ryuu sat down on a nearby rock for a few moments in order to regain some of his strength. After he was sure that Andra was far enough away, Ryuu picked up the velociraptor corpse and began to lug it through the final stretch and into his cave. "Can't wait to see how this tastes." Ryuu said to himself with a smile as he went back to get the gorilla.
