Absi tilted his head in the right direction and arched his brow in question. It was fine he didn't take that direction. After all, Absi wouldn't have begged or pleaded for his life. He was too honorable. Besides, if it came down to the point of him facing death and losing, he would have accepted it, no matter what the man would have done to him. His shoulders rolled, which caused the details of his muscles to be seen upon each individual movement he took. Then he listened to the man as he spoke and then said, when all was done, "Sounds like your best bet, if you don't want someone 'better' coming in my place when I do not go to sign off on the completion of the contract." The Mercenary gave a low laugh and then shook his head a final time. His grip relaxed on his knee, and he leaned forward to listen to the man once more while his eyes descended to the floor before him.
When asked if he wanted to wager a guess as to what was within the vial, he shook his head and said, "No. I'm not exactly interested in the contents, even if you're going to somehow force me to drink that. I'd like to see you try, to be honest." He curled his lips into a smirk, but did not raise his gaze to look upon the man. His shoulders slumped, as if he had been defeated, and his head began to throb while he drew in a deep breath of air through slightly parted lips. He felt it now, the want to break free, but decided patience would win him out on this day. And, even though his gut proved to be right on most occasions, he was sure this could be one of the few where he was wrong.

Holding the vial into the sunlight a bit allowing the glass to catch the light and shine into the darkness of the cell Absi resided, whilst he rolled his wrist back and forth to cast small ray of light into the bleakness of the dark. "But that's the ticket lad, you've already consumed it." Flipping it back into the palm of his hand, he lowered it to his lap where he stared at it for a moment before continuing. "All but your eggs were cooked in it, and the coffee lased with it." His eyes flickered up to Absi's frame before looking back down, seemingly shamed. "The Order of the Sun have a different name for it, some long old speech name which can't seem to roll off my tongue, but to the common folk it be known as Gut Rot." He paused briefly, it wasn't an unknown poison to be sure. Was used often before and during the war by the Snowclaws, an excellent way to route out their enemy one by one or weaken a great mass of them.
Mallach had seen the effects of it first hand.
"Three drops of this odorless, tasteless evil is enough to kill a man in one of the worst possible ways you can imagine. You see, unlike most poisons this one uses your stomach's own acids as a weapon and will eat you from the inside out until you're screaming out in agony between vomiting up pieces of yourself in tiny bits of red muck." He didn't stop looking at the vial in his hand. "You've eaten and drank more than half of what was in here." He glanced up at Absi, cold eyed and stoned face. "My council thought it was a more than just way to deal with an Assassin, such as yourself..."

The Mercenary watched the male with a dark gaze and shifted his footing along the ground beneath him. Then he drew in a deep breath of air as the calm washed over him for a moment. As time seemed to slowly pass, he listened to the spoken words intently, and then his mind flashed back to the moment he consumed the food with the hunger of a wild beast. His chest began to lift and drop while the palms of his hands began to open and close. To think, he had come this far, just to die by a single man? He was not going out in a blaze of glory, but by the actions of poison? What a coward's way to kill someone. He and the council here must be nothing more than cowards. The word left his lips in the form of a low mutter, "Coward." Then he repeated the word, but a bit louder, "Coward!" He felt the muscles in his arms and legs tighten while he sprang onto his feet once more. He rocked to the left and then the right, which shifted the flow of his mane.
After that, his hands pulled forward, and then his legs, almost as if he had been testing the strength of the chain against his own. Not that it mattered, for he'd try to take the man out himself. His chest pushed out as he drew in a deep breath of air, and then he moved forward with all the speed he could muster when his back pressed against the wall. His legs opened wide as he took on a powerful stride and closed the distance between him and the bars of this place. Both of his arms reached forward; however, only the length of his hand, up to his wrist, managed to free itself from the confinement of the bars. His digits stretched out as he aimed to grasp the male and force him against the bar, but he knew well he would not reach. He knew the man was out of his range. Still, he tried, and he yelled while he did it. Rage could be a man's best friend, but his worst weapon if not used correctly. He said, "And here I thought you were a man of honor! Here I gave you information, and you come here, with the intent to kill me after all. It seems I did not place my kindness in the right person, and I revealed too much to you. I'll kill you in another life, if not this one." His digits then grasped at the air before he pulled himself back and then slammed his arm forward in attempt to force the shackle from the wall; however, the movement would only make his shoulder slightly hurt. "Damn you, coward... damn you."

He watched Absi's display, but did not budge nor even flinch from his stool. The stretched out fingers of the man more than a foot away from Mallach caused for him to not be alarmed in the slightest, quite honestly he had expected more of a violent reaction. Not to mention far more colourful language. "Absi, calm yourself man." He said in a low, even tone as he raised his empty hand up a bit, fingers side by side and palm facing the raging man within his cage. "I had no intention of killing you." Lowering his emptied hand to another pouch on his belt, he opened it and pulled out one of six vials, holding it much like he had the one in his right hand, up toward Absi.
The vial was no larger than the first, however this one was full right up to where the cork was plunged into, with a light yellow liquid. "This is the antidote." A pause. "Unlike it's counter-part this tastes like horse piss, or so I'm told. Looks a bit look like to if you were to ask my opinion.. While it wasn't designed to deal with as much poison as you've ingested I've been told that drinking the entire contents of a vial this size will keep back the poison's lingering effects for 7 days and 7 nights before another would need to be consumed to keep the acids in your stomach from eating you from the inside out.
"Alas, I wasn't told how long you'd need to take this potion to cure it completely but... Well, I have six of them with me now and they're yours of course." Another pause as he palmed the vial. "You meet a few conditions of mine first." A cruel and underhanded tactic to be sure. But, Mallach wasn't all bad. Really. Just desperate. Now it would depend on if Absi would take the bait. "The first of which, Absi of the house Mac’Aodha I ask you this. Are you sure you've nothing more to tell me on why you accepted this job and how you managed to get to me with such ease?"
Gods knew he didn't like beaten that dead horse again, but hey.. Couldn't hurt.

Absi narrowed his gaze as the man spoke to him once more. 'Absy, calm yourself man.' Then he took a moment to calm himself, and in doing so, he noticed how calm the man was appearing to be. His slim digits released their stretch, and he soon moved his hands around the bars of his cell. He shook his head, and sucked in a deep breath of air. The man before him seemed... different. Was this the true reality before him? That the male was playing him all along? Oh, how he figured such would be possible, but he did not think much of he, Dirson, the man who he was destined to kill. Not only that, but by his lack of response to the rage the Mane of Chaos, Blacksword possessed. Hm... Then the vial was revealed and held before him, but Absi did not care much to reach for it during this time.
Then he took in the detail of the vial's size, and then the amount of content within the yellow liquid. An antidote? His brows narrowed as he considered the possibilities of this being the truth or not; however, he did not speak on it at this moment in time. No, the Mane of Chaos, Blacksword, simply let the man continue with his speech and efforts. When it was spoken of the contents tasting like piss, Absi raised a brow in question, but soon shook his head and dropped the brow moments later. After that, his visage grew soft, almost as if he was thinking about completely giving into the situation and bend to whatever will Dirson wished him to. As this false expression remained constant, Absi was, on the inside, debating the actions he should take next. Now, if he wasn't smart, he would have jumped at this opportunity with everything he had; he would have taken his chances and called it a win. But, seven days and seven nights? That would mean his life would possibly be held within the grasp of Dirson for a longer period of time? And should he fail to comply, he was sure the man could use it against him.
Regardless, that is not what took the cake. What did, was the fact that he would was uncertain as to how long he would have to take this 'miracle juice' that looked like yellow piss. And then, there it was. He knew it was coming all along. More conditions of his to be met. Then he was asked the question, 'Are you sure you've nothing more to tell me on why you accepted this job and how you managed to get to me with such ease?' To this, Absi raised his shoulders into the form of a shrug and turned his back towards the man with a narrowed gaze. He sucked in a deep breath of air and said, as he moved to approach the wall he kept going back to during this encounter, "Is there more I have to tell you?" The answer to this was no, for he didn't have to tell anything else. However, he knew well there was more information he could discuss... he could reveal. Nevertheless, he was not the one to tell all of the tale.
When he reached the wall, he spun on the balls of his shackled feet and plopped himself into a sitting position once more. His left leg extended away from his person while his right leg bent to become level with his chest. He then moved to rest his right arm on top of his knee, and slightly leaned on it while his gaze fell towards the ground, and his hair shifted to cover his face for the time being. He shook his head a little, having seemed to have been defeated by the target he was sent to kill. But, in truth, he was not against the odds. He knew what he was up against when he came here, and he was not a man to bow to fear. Coin was the only thing that controlled his hands, and if he died here today, then so be it. After all, he never knew his true meaning in life, and if this was the extent of it, he did well up until this point. This caused a hidden smile to form onto his lips, but it vanished when he began to speak.
"You will give me a means to live after I submit to a few more conditions of yours, hm? This is what it will be thus far? I gave you conditions, and they cannot be met, you see. But you give me conditions and assume I shall beg for my life?" He laughed to himself and then narrowed his gaze onto the ground before him. His head fell back--although his hair covered his face still--and against the wall behind him, while his blue-green globes stared at the ceiling of the cell. And then he chuckled. Dirson was foolsih to think Absi was the type of man to bend to the will of others without proper reason. "How cunning of you to trick me. I shall give you that, yes. It also let me see just how dirty you are, playing these games with me. You offer me a meal and a drink, and pretend to be a man of kindness. And I admit, it was rather foolish of me to think you were what you seemed. I know better than that, and I cannot believe another word you will come to speak to me. For all I know, that liquid could be a piss you have me drink for however long it is that I live, and it'll do nothing but give me false senses, or simply postpone my death. You've also insulted me, not once, but twice while you stare at me through those calm eyes of yours; eyes that seem to calculate silently. I'd rather take death than to fall to another one of your lies." He scuffed and turned his head away from the ceiling, and then closed his eyes.

Mallach remained stone faced and calm his eyes blinking slowly as he studied the man, watched as he thought things over in his head. A part of Mallach believed he could honestly see the gears spinning in that skull of his and then he spoke. Again, Mallach was calm as if everything Absi was saying was washing right over him and once everything was said and done he stood abruptly.
And then smiled.
"I cannot say I blame you. An excellent sense of self worth, determination and perseverance. Great qualities any man of decent self worth can appreciate." He tossed the yellow vial at Absi suddenly and then popped the cork of the clear one. "Take a breath boy, you're fine." He then brought the vial to his lips and tipped it back. With a sudden gasp and a bit of a shake of his head Mallach sighed softly. "A taste of home.. Rum, white rum but rum all the same." He mused as he tossed the vial into the still open satchel. "I've got more if you'd like a swig, I imagine I would after the mind screwing you just had..
"Thinking you're a goner and all." He crossed his arms over his chest and couldn't help but frown a little bit. "Sorry about that truly, but it was the only way I could be sure.
"Oh and by the by, that's just a really concentrated batch of lemon juice I just tossed you. Not horse piss."

The Descendant of Obscurity looked towards the man with a dark, hidden gaze, and took note of the smile, but did not respond right away. In fact, he simply listened to the man as he gave some form of 'compliment' and then threw the yellow vial towards him. The digits of the male's right hand moved from his head and captured the vial out of the air. He curled the palm of his hand around the thing and then moved to lower it towards his side. Then he found insult when the man referred to him as 'boy', but still did not say anything in return. For now, he allowed his mind to simply calculate the situation as best as it could.
Then, the man seemed to offer him a drink, but Absi needed to retain any form of focus he had left and dedicate it towards the man in front of him. He parted his lips and released a soft breath of air through his teeth before he shook his head in response to the offer. He wasn't really interested in drinking with the man at this time. Then the male apologized to Absi, and he narrowed his eyes lightly before he shook his head and said, "Out with it. What is it you want from me? I am done with your mind games, and if you are not direct from this point on, we are finished with discussion. Do what you will." He then waved his hand through the air, as if to brush off anything else. Either Dirson would speak his mind and display the truth from here on out, or the both of them would be finished with the situation at hand. He no longer had reason to speak, nor did he have reason to act, save for to kill the man before him, but that would come in good time. Absi was tired of the games and wanted nothing more than closure, should that mean he was going to face death, or serve. Of course, each had their own cost to him.

"Yes, I do suppose I've beat around the bush quite a bit. Allow me to explain." Exhaling out all the air in his lungs, Mallach sucked some more in through his nose and slowly began to pace between the stool on which he had been sitting and Absi's cell, all the while speaking which his hands. "My original questioning was to discover if you had inside or outside help to penetrate the castle and assuming you've been completely truthful with me," he shot him a quick glance. "It seems you did it on your own, a feat I shall not take lightly.
"I then further made you reveal your origins, if only at the very vaguest to discover you come from a family who's reputation for honing fine warriors is next to none. Something that will also not be taken lightly by yours truly. I then announced I found your skills lacking, testing your responses which if anything proved your hunger to not only learn more, but to grow. Many in your profession believe that they're already at their peak and refuse to better themselves and prefer to just hone what they already know. A quality many men and women around this nation share sadly.
"And finally, I threatened your life and offered you a short term remedy which would not only force you into working for me but keep you dependent on me for further survival. You refused, opting to deny me any further information and the knowledge that if I did let you out, I'd undoubtedly be dead long before you. While I cannot say the latter is an idea I personally relish for myself, it was another fine quality." He paused and stopped his pacing, his left side facing the bars and his eyes looking at his feet (still out of Absi's reach I might add). He took another breath in through his nose and exhaled out from his mouth. "Not many assassins, or mercenaries in your case have such a code. Whether it is your own personal pride or simple loyalty to your employer for taking their coin, I could not say. But it is something that raises a point that you would rather die than betray your own self." He looked at Absi hard from over his shoulder, his eyes seeming to dance with light.
"While my methods were cruel it was the only way I could make sure I could discover these things about you, given your profession. I could have taken you at your word, but.. That isn't always something a man in my position can simply accept. For my trust has and no doubt will be taken for granted again in future. Do you understand where I'm coming from lad? He asked as the volume of his voice seemed to lower. Clearly he did not like what he had done, but from where he sat he saw no other option. Absi did try to kill him after all.
"All that said and done however. I'd like to offer you employment."

The Mercenary took in the man's words, but did not allow himself the time to respond. For the moment, he simply allowed the words to weigh on the mind of his person. He considered his current options and then leaned his back against the cold wall once more. This sent shivers through the length of his person as the corners of his lips tugged themselves upward. Then, as the male continued to speak, his smile turned itself into a broad grin, which eventually settled into the form of a smirk. He cleared his throat and soon brushed his right hand through the strands that covered his face. With a flick of his wrist, he would eventually guide the hair behind his head so that it rested on the back of his shoulders. Other than that, he did not seem to hold to any form of life. The cold was slowly starting to get back to him, even though he had forced it away for this moment in time.
Regardless, he knew well that he'd have to get past the silence he since embraced. He rolled his shoulders back and then placed both of his feet beneath him while his hands pressed themselves against the ground beneath him. Afterwards, he slowly rose up, only to have been greeted by the sound of his bones protesting the movement. If anything, the cold only helped to lock his bones in place, it would seem. He then placed his hands together and rubbed them back and forth to get some form of warmth to them and soon said, "I still do not know if I can trust you or not, but you play an interesting game, if I do say so myself." He paused for a moment, and raised his gaze to stare at the man's head, then dropped it to stare at whatever part of the man he could get his eyes on. From his position, Absi was simply sizing him up. It wasn't for battle, but to see just how much of a person he was. And, even though he believed the male to be telling the truth, he did not know how far he would go for 'His' (Dirson's) form of justice. This, of course, peeked the interest of the Mercenary.
He cleared his throat once more and then said, in a rather calm tone, "Tell me. What is it you will have me do. I am all ears." For the moment, he was not going to agree to the task at hand. Oh, no. He wasn't even going to accept any terms dished out to him. He wanted to hear the full extent of whatever it was Dirson was going to lay before his ears. Of course, should that happen, he was aware he would probably end up with two choices: stay in this cell and rot until they decide to kill him, or he dies on his own, or serve the man's cause. Then again, Dirson did say he wished to hire the Mane of Chaos, Blacksword, which meant there could be some coin in it for him. All the more reason to join whatever this cause would be. Then he said, a bit lately, "I can understand where you are coming from. Had I been in your position, I would have acted the same way." But, of course, some things might have been done differently. Might.

Clearing his own throat, Mallach turned to fully face Absi and approached the bars, his face mere inches away from it. This was the first time Mallach had allowed his prisoner the chance, if he so wished to take it, to be within striking distance. "I simply wish you to make yourself available for when I need you. However, the first thing you can do is go to your current employer and inform them that you were subdued and arrested for attempting to enter the Castle and failed to reach your target. You can further expand upon this and say the likely hood you would be able to reach me is now highly unlikely. If they ask how you escaped, you can say you were released as you hadn't done anything aside from being suspicious."
Giving the scruff under his chin a scratch he smirked a little and continued. "When I do call upon you, I expect you to respond as soon as humanly possible and put your best foot forward regardless as to what I request of you. Your first assignments will pay little, however it will assist in clearing your name of the charges put against you, as well as give you a reputation. Now surely you already have a rep, I mean that is a certainly given you were hired to do me in. However, imagine the clients which will come your way when it is said that the Mane of Chaos, Blacksword has been working for the Crown? Not to mention the coin for your purse.
"So.." His smirk widened a bit and he reached through the bars with his right hand, palm open. "What do you say, do we have an arrangement?"

The Descendant of Obscurity shifted in his position while his ears listened to the spoken words of Dirson. He tilted his head and then said, in a dull tone, "I have little reason to return to the likes of them. Besides, it would be a lie... and if I worked for you, it would be obvious that I told them something, and they'd come after me. The way I see it now... leaving them be, for this moment in time, will have them come for me themselves, or they'll figure me dead. Should they find me in the future and make an attempt on my life, I will rid them of the light this world puts on display." He folded his arms across the length of his chest and then lowered his head in the form of a nod, as if he were telling himself that's what he'd do. And, to be honest, there was no doubt about it. If the men dared to come forth and chase him down, he'd wipe the floor with them and whoever else they desired to bring with them. Besides, if they moved to find him, and he was in ranks with the guards, he could tell them he was still making an attempt at the male's life. Not only that, but there was no time limit as to when he had to have the man killed; Absi was simply told to kill him, and he'd get paid when the contract was finished. A beautiful death it would have been... glorious even! But, alas, things did not always work out as planned. Nevertheless, if he went back to the one who gave him the contract, he could be followed and his reputation would be tarnished, should one look at it like that. "As for suspicion, I worry not. They'll meet me again one day, and we'll discuss matters then."
Then there was a sound of a scruff when he scratched under his chin and spoke again. To this, the Mercenary lifted his shoulders into a shrug and turned his gaze away from the man. He eventually listened to each word that pooled from Dirson's lips and simply curled his own lips into a slight smirk. His head leaned in the right direction while he finally broke his silence and responded, "This is an interesting deal you've placed before me. Come as humanly possible as ever, no matter the task? I suppose I can work along the length of those lines, but... I wonder..." He trailed off and then brushed the tips of his digits along the length of his chin and eventually strode forward in a slow manner. When he moved to study the detail of the hand before him, he said, "If I work for the Crown, I do think I should dress like it?" He then placed his hand against the other male's and shook. This was a fine opportunity to gain Coin. Besides, if the man ever turned on him, he'd get the chance to kill him, no doubt. But only then would he try.

"Very well." He responded nodding as the man explained the reasons for him not seeking out his employers. He hadn't thought about it in that sense, but in truth he was hardly the sort of person to look at things in such a light anyways. That's why he wanted someone like Absi in his pocket, someone who knew the darker sides of the world and could better advice him on said situations... And deal with them if need be.
Shaking the man's hand firmly, he released the man's palm and crossed his arms over his chest and inhaled deeply as he considered what he said about attire. "For now, you don't work for the Crown, in full, just mine own self." He stated bluntly. "Until your crimes have been paid for in full. If others whom work for the Crown decide to dress you as a solider under our banners, so be it. I will not. You're a employee outside of the King's Royal Army, while you will be offered shelter and food while you're on assignment, I shall not dress you." He flicked a thumb over his shoulder at the chest where Absi's sword lie in. "Besides, your armour is quite adequate. If you feel otherwise feel free to spend your coin upon new armour or whatever else suits your fancy.
"The reason I want you as an employee is so I can use you to do things the King will not allow me to send my men and women under his banners to do. You allow me a certain leeway in more grey areas in the Court. Whether it be for more honourable deeds or otherwise, I see you as a vital necessity to various ends." He paused a moment considering his words and continued. "Do not take this the wrong way, son of Mac'Aodah. Every man, woman and child in this nation has his or her uses, I would simply wish to best use the best ones of those I meet for the better of the realm.
"Now, if you've no more questions and if you'd like I can see what I can do to get you a hot bath and possible shave before I assign someone to oversee you for your duration within the Capital."

The Descendant of Obscurity shifted lower his head into an understanding nod. Then he pulled his hands back and said, "As you will, then." The opportunity before him was one of a kind, and he truly wished to see where it would go. After all, he stood alone in this world--for the most part--and needed a way to better himself. Besides, there was once a saying... keep your friends close and your enemies closer? A good saying, he thought, and one that fit the bill. So then he dropped his hands to his side and rattled the shackles that surrounded his wrist and his ankles. "I'll do whatever, just get me out of these chains." Then he lifted his shoulders into a light shrug and said, "I'll take on whatever burden you wish me to carry, so long as there is coin at the end of the deal. I suppose that makes me neutral." And in a way, Absi was neutral. He did not act on his own, even with logic or reason, and often found himself sticking to silence. The only thing that forced his hand was the offer of coin, and then.. only then did nothing stand in his way.
Should Dirson move to unshackle him, he would place his hands together and then lace his digits with one another in order to better prepare himself for the releasing, if he were to be able to be released this night. Not only that, but he couldn't shake the feeling of wanting to grasp the blade once more and wield his partner close to his person. Mournblade was--even though he ignored the comment when it was mentioned--an extension of himself, and when it was not within his grasp, he felt as if he were incomplete. But now... not it was close to his reach, and he would become one with it yet again. This thought made the corners of his lips turn into a smile, and he settled back against the cold wall. "If you can get me the shower, I will settle with it and then work we shall begin."

Taking a step back from the bars, Mallach casually knelt and took up the satchel under the table and slung it over his shoulder. "I shall have the guards fetch the keys to both your cell and the shackles. Once you're dressed, they will then escort you to a bathing chamber where I'll have arrangements made for hot buckets of water to be brought in for your bath." Perhaps a shower is what his region of the country refer to as a bath, or so Mallach thought. He often referred to it as a soak or scrub himself. "From there you're belongings, namely your sword shall be returned to you after you're escorted out of the castle." Standing, he turned to face the man again. "Can't let wandering eyes see an armed prisoner leave the castle grounds after all.
"From there I'll have one of my contacts in the army keep an eye on you and will be our go between. You'll have a warm bed and lodgings at the inn known as the Chipped Shoe. It's sign is that of a horseshoe with a piece missing in it's midsection, easy enough to spot. The owner was one of my standard barriers in the war, good chap. He'll make sure you're well taken care of until you're either on your way or an assignment is presented to you." Moving away from the man's cell in slow long strides, Mallach did not once look back but did shoot his free hand over his shoulder in a sort of wave.
"Till our next meeting, Mane of Chaos, Blacksword. May whatever gods you keep, see and guide you on a path of glory and kinship. And keep both eyes open and an ear to the ground. I may be summoning you sooner than either of us may expect." And with that, he opened the door to the dungeon and slipped out leaving Absi alone for several minutes before the pair of guards came back into the hall, none too happy they had to play babysitter before letting their attacker go.

The Mercenary watched as Dirson took a step away from the bars, and simply grinned to himself in response. He didn't know what to think of this, to be honest, but that didn't matter--at the moment anyway--for coin was involved, and his curiosity was growing. Then the male spoke, and Absi simply lowered his gaze into an understanding nod, even if the man didn't see it. Now wasn't the time for words; he had already said what he needed to say. Then, he took note of the name 'Chipped Shoe' and the description of it, which he placed into his memory as essential information. Then he took note of the wave of 'dismissal' and simply chuckled to himself in a low response.
When the guards returned to the hall and set the Mercenary free, he looked towards them both and grinned to himself while he shook his head left and right. The action would send his mane flowing along the area before he rolled his shoulders and stretched. It felt like he had been in there forever, but he didn't really care. At this moment in time, he didn't have a job, at least to Dirson's concern. On top of that, the ones who released him were the ones he took out? If so, he'd shake his head at them while he tsk'd softly to himself. Perhaps he should have killed them... then things may have ended differently? His head fell back to allow him the chance to look at the ceiling so that he could bite back the laughter that wanted to free itself from his pressed lips. When he regained control of himself, he looked forward and allowed them to guide him to the buckets that were for his bath, and he took them and used them without care as to whom were around him. Afterwards, he took his belongings and took his leave once he got his sword back.
There was little--or much, who knew--to be done. [exit]
