Appearance: Nero is just as unusual as his name suggests; he stands at a fair height of five and a half feet (give or take an inch or two on a bad hair day) with light tan skin due to his exposure to the sun and at a fair weight of 135 pounds. A crown of short dark blonde hair adorns his head, usually fairly kept though often prone to wild changes (particular where his clumsy problem comes into play) with a pair of mismatched eyes to add to the chaos; the left being blue-green, the right being hazel (light brown with green).
Unseen to most, he has a pair of near jagged birthmarks on his back, and actually has rather soft hands despite being a manual laborer. However, Nero makes up for it with a good few scars and bruises, often wearing wrappings on his arms just in case he winds up tripping right into a wall, or worse.
He prefers to wear darker colors, preferring blacks and dark purples, as well as browns as well. The standard outfit for Nero consists of a sleeveless form-fitting hanten with a dark hood attached to it and light work pants as well as standard tabi and often goes without socks on warm days and wears bound sleeves over his arms. It is not uncommon to see him with a large pack on his back (single strap going diagonal across the chest).
Personality: Nero is actually rather friendly, putting a high value on bonds and friendship and has no trouble expressing himself. At least, verbally; physically Nero is clumsy, enough to result in rather humorous yet dumbfounding scenes (partially the reason he is called Hazard by others). Despite his clumsy flaw, Nero is intelligent and clever, actually self-aware of his own clumsiness, sometimes managing to use it to his advantage. Every now and then, but like all beings, Nero is not perfect and winds up finding himself in the most, ahem, peculiar situations.
Nero has a bit of a mischievous side to himself, particularly when it comes to his free time. He is usually up to one thing or another when not making a delivery, particularly; trying not to slip and make a fool out of himself in front of a beautiful girl, or causing a little bit of trouble for someone with a simple trick or two. Not out of malice, but merely to pass the time and see what happens, an odd little quirk of Nero’s in fact.
On a final note, he has earned the moniker of The Hazard due in part to the chaos caused by the Hazard Incident within his neighborhood. And worse (for his neighbors that is), Nero has come to enjoy the attention that comes with being The Hazard, mostly because he puts in the effort to keep the nickname alive. (And understandably, many hope he does not discover any abilities that may just make it even worse for them)
History:
1984 NW - Born to unusual parents, and named Nero simply to help him stand out
1990 NW – Begins schooling at home
1991 NW – The famous Hazard Incident occurs, lasting for an entire hour and followed by a five hour clean up.
1991 ~ 1992 – At the beginning of the new year Nero is known as The Hazard
2000 NW – Finishes schooling and receives a family made “graduation” ring
2001 NW – Nero maintains income as a delivery boy and an intelligent scholar within the neighborhood.
Born in the year 1984 NW, Nero was given his unusual name with his mother’s blessing and his father’s pride with the natural inherited gift to stand out like a pink bunny Hollow in the wasteland. Within a few years, he began his schooling at home under the watchful eye and education of family, who were known to be well-versed scholars and intellectuals (his mother being a retired third division officer once she met his father).Shortly after his schooling years began, Nero discovered two things; he was sadly clumsy and possessed a remarkably sharp mind and intellect. In the end of the year 1991, Nero’s clumsiness and brilliant mind struck the public in what swiftly became known as the Hazard Incidient saw the dreaded Hazard event which caused a mess and chaos the likes of which the first district has not ever forgotten. As a result, the start of the new year saw Nero with the moniker of The Hazard or Hazard, for short, which both Nero and his family have come to enjoy (even though the incident had a five hour clean up requiring his neighborhood and three others to help). In 2000, Nero finished up his schooling and attended his own in-the-family graduation with his cousins, and received a “graduation” ring from his uncle in the third district.
At present, he is working as a delivery boy with aspirations to become a scholar somehow in the third division.
