Depending on who she is with, the way she shows her affection differs. Towards her brother, Cathlyn shows a great deal of respect towards him, but still likes to poke and prod at him to see him get flustered. When around one she has an eye for, Cat, herself, becomes easily flustered, her cheeks usually ablaze with a cherry red hue. Around those she knows by face, her attitude is indifferent, rough, and on the occasion, rude. She gives off an air that she doesn't care what other’s think of her. When tasked to find out a wrong-doer, Cat tries to get stories from both parties, wanting to make things as fair as possible. When it comes to battling, a new form of the woman appears, thirsty for blood and rarely shows mercy to her foes. When meeting someone new, Cat can seem cold and distant. She likes to see different sides of someone before making a judgment on where someone lies on her list. Her greatest dream is to be strong enough to not have to constantly depend on others. A main goal she has set is to keep her family’s business running.
If there's one thing Cathlyn can openly say that she loves unconditionally, it's her twin brother. The two have been through thick and thin, and losing him would be like losing a limb. She also enjoys being around the horses her family raises, finding their company to be soothing. Once joining the military, Cat has found a love for the clashing of weapons with her opponents. Cathlyn definitely has her dislikes and is not afraid to be vocal about them. If someone does something she doesn’t like, she will, without hesitation, tell that someone so. She also has a strong dislike of those willing to betray their word. A fear that always nags at the back of her mind is the feeling of being weak. Asking for help is like pulling teeth to the woman. An absolute terror to Cat is the eight-legged fiend, spiders, and any creepy crawlies the darkness could be hiding.
Even though she tries to keep a strong, unyielding demeanor, Cathlyn is quite the scaredy-cat, no pun intended. She's also a lightweight, like her brother, when consuming those adult beverages. Surprisingly, this woman is also quite the artist, doodling on important documents or scraps of parchment if able to. If she ends up doing something that hurts the feelings or body, Cathlyn is quick to apologize, profusely if it's someone close to her.

Being born into a family of Horse Lords, Cathlyn was taught how to train horses at a young age. She enjoyed these lessons, loving the powerful, gentle beasts the Nuëmenoïr’s raised. A year after her training began; Cathlyn was no longer the youngest of her immediate family, her sister, Lilli, bringing an even brighter ray of sunlight to the Nuëmenoïr residence. Another year after that, the plight for regaining the throne was brought to Cat’s attention when the Royal Forces came to purchase war horses. It was an awe inspiring moment when the Mallach Dirson let her help him find the right steed for him, that steed being a mare given the name Storm.
A few playful years between the three siblings, Lilli caught an illness that started out as a simple cough. Within a few months, that cough turned into a fever that left her weak. During the year of her illness and many visits from healers, Cathlyn stuck to Lilli’s bedside, reading and being company to the ever weakening child. A year and three days after her coughing started, Lilli passed away, too weak to recover. With the death of Lilli, Nathanial’s branch of Nuëmenoïr grew quiet and closed off from others. During this period, Cat became moody and cold to others; the only one she could rely on was her brother, Azoth.
Upon her seventeenth year, Cathlyn’s dark exterior was shattered when her grandfather, Garolf dragged her out to a foaling. Helping her grandfather, a new tobiano colt was welcomed to the Nuëmenoïr herd. The news of being the owner of the newborn foal gave a new ray of hope to the young girl’s life. Two years of breaking Shadowmyst into a halter and saddle, Cathlyn’s knowledge was truly put to the test. That same year, Azoth and Cathlyn decided to enlist with the Imperial Army.
On a break from training and returning home, Cat meets yet another one of her cousins. This one, however, reminded her of herself. She didn't want to have Caius go through the same thing she did as a child, so she made sure to always pester Caius; in a teasing way of course. She had to return to the military after a while however, promising to take Caius out for a hunt.
After being assigned to a small troop of Imperial soldiers. They were assigned to patrol near the Hollowed Forest, an area she knew fairly well from her childhood. What she and her fellow Imperials weren't expecting were the bandits camping within the depths of her family's sacred forest. Enraged by the defilement of the Hollowed Forest, Cathlyn jumped straight into battle. The end result came with her fellow soldiers jokingly calling her "Titania of the Empire." A year after, Cathlyn was recognized for her prowess in battle and forged a single Eiphyre gauntlet. To this day, she is hardly seen without the special piece of armour.
Being graced with yet another break from the military, Cat returns home and basically drags her cousin out on the promised hunting trip. It started out as a great cousin bonding time, but soon turned do disaster when the two go separated. Cathlyn was filled with worry, as well as stress dealing with the fickle horse Caius had chosen. Cat searched high and low for her cousin, but it grew to late and dark for the woman to see clearly so she had to turn back to the Bulgate, heart heavy with guilt. On the morn, she was then filled with regret upon seeing the state of Caius, yet relieved he had returned alive. The experience as a whole took a toll on her, and so she returned to duty as soon as she could.
A few years into her enlistment, the same Mallach Dirson of her past caught her eye.
Eight years of proving herself, Mallach has gifted her a five month old pup she has named Solo.
