It was a quiet night in Hueco Mundo; it was always a quiet night in Hueco Mundo, twenty four hours a night, seven nights a week. In fact, given that it was difficult to tell if the moon ever even moved, it was difficult to say time ever even passed in Hueco Mundo. Perhaps this place was timeless? Perhaps that was why the Hollow, after centuries and centuries, had not changed, and indeed may never change?
This was all inconsequential.
Tangellow understood exactly none of it, after all, as he was not even as smart as your average Hollow; hell, it could be said that the noodley-beast might have been outwitted by Gillian, if the two creatures could exist in the same area without draining all of the logical process from the very air.
So rather than ponder the existential meaning of what it was to be 'Hollow', Tangellow instead moved through the sand for no other purpose than because the sand was there, and sitting still was dull. In fact, 'boring' was one of the very few concepts Tangellow could begin to wrap his meager thought-maker around; 'boring', 'mine' and 'food' were pretty much the sum of it.
And so, tentacles flailing, the Hollow of basically indeterminable size tread the sands of Hueco Mundo with no goal in mind, or much of anything in mind, digging furrows of alternating pattern here and there as he moved for the sake of movement.

Freshly evolved and roaming the desert, a towering Gillian with a very distinctive mask entered into the vicinity of the tentacle-y little oddball named Tangellow. He may not have been little, the gillian couldn't really tell. To his newly formed body, everything seemed small. His footsteps kicked up dust clouds of sand with each step, and there was nothing subtle about his swaying gait. Someone could have easily seen him coming from miles away, and would have heard him well before he was aware of them.
Vicious was lost, separated from that little pack Presta had formed. He had no idea where he was going, or how he would find them, but he imagined that if he kept roaming he would either run into the pack, or be spotted by the high flying fire-bird named Veza. Instead, he found Tangellow, a hollow he vaguely recalled from the meeting with the strange maskless thing called Airegalo and the vasto lordes who had been so generous with providing food. His foot came down just to the left of the squiggling mass of tentacles, and Vicious, oblivious to the fact he had nearly crushed the smaller hollow, lumbered onward, to the west.

Though Tangellow was by and large without thought, he was not utterly oblivious to the world around him: he would hear Vicious coming a comfortable ways away, though obviously he'd not know who the Hollow was, and so was prepared when the Gillian came 'too' near. The gigantic feet fell near him, but not so near to cause the little fellow panic, aside from the panic common to everything that was forced to accept the fact that it was beside a monster who's heel dwarfed them in size, and so Tangellow did the only thing that made sense.
He leaped at the Gillian's heel, the right specifically, and began to expand and contract his tentacles in such a way that he began to slowly ascend the beast: first came the feet, and next? Next the legs!

Suddenly made aware of an odd, unpleasant, tentacle-y sensation skittering up his calf, Vicious stooped down and swatted at the little bugger, attempting to grab the annoyance in his massive hand so that he could bring it to eye level and observe it. If he didn't like what he saw, the Gillian could simply squish the smaller hollow, or, more enticingly, eat him like a piece of particularly wiggly popcorn! Vicious didn't even know what popcorn was!

As the giant lurched downward, the little tentacled thing burrrrrp-ed before flailing a couple tentacles, watching as the great hand came nearer; now, the fun part of a being so large having to move in such an odd fashion meant that it would have to bend the knee and kind of squat, and rather than a hand, what Tangellow saw coming his way was a huge sheet of black. Sheet!
With a mighty heft, Tangellow bounced away from the Gillian's leg as the cloth came nearer, and the thrashing tentacles suddenly grew little prickleys, each an inch long and coating his tentacles almost totally, so as to allow him to best snatch onto the inside of the cloak before resuming his ascension; much easier! Rumbling in pleasure, the little tentacled creature began the long waggle to the top as the great beast clapped at it's own leg in an attempt to lumber after where Tangellow had been.

Vicious ------------------------------------
The gargantuan Hollow, frustrated by his inability to capture the climbing thing, began to shake his leg spasmodically, trying to shake the smaller hollow off. The hazards of being so big were, of course, that it came with an inherent sort of clumsiness. Vicious was unbalanced by his own flailing, and proceeded to fall onto the dunes below!
Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimbeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer~!

"Well now, one does not see something like that every day..." From an area distant enough to not be noticed, but close enough to see the toppling Giant fall, Airegalo ponders to himself what could have caused such a feat. Especially odd, since the Giant did not seem to be fighting anything. To satisfy his curiosity, Airegalo takes a stroll towards the dunes, before eventually seeing the entire scene.
A Giant got knocked over by what seemed to be a playful Youngling. "Curiouser and curiouser..."

As the Gillian tumbled, the Hollow simply stayed latched to the inside of the Gillian's cloak; presumably falling forward, there was little here to make immediate threat to Tangellow, aside from perhaps a massive case of vertigo, and so the ball of tentacle simply latched, fluttering fiercely in the breeze as the giant Hollow fell to the sand. Now upside down, Tangellow would thrash briefly in confusion before resuming it's one-time ascent, now a simply forward, albeit upside-down, crawl toward the Gillian's back. What an adventure!

Vicious lay there for a moment, stunned. He had been tripped and beaten so thoroughly! Gravity, thou art a fickle bitch! He forced himself back up onto his feet and dusted off his cloak. No longer feeling anything clinging to his leg, Vicious merely forgot what he was doing and wandered onward, across the sandy dunes as if nothing had happened. Gillians were rather special like that.
