Gen would be seen walking through Osaka's main castle town; Owari. His body was adorned in Shinigami robes plus his simple white haiori, with traditional Samurai shoulder guards, and bracers. As he strode through the city he would stop at the local proving grounds taking a seat in one of the oak waiting stools. Deciding to view the humans fighting and possible prospects.

Just wanted to say welcome to AK, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask me, and of course the staff on here, who could probably better direct you to the answers of your questions. May your stay be fun, enjoyable and merry! :3 Spending the early afternoon downtown in Owari, Curnain, regretfully dragged along by her father, Niall, trailed behind the tall parent with a slightly serious expression on her face. Obligated to aid her father in picking up a wide variety of goods delivered for the restaurant he and her mother owned -- which she couldn't come due to requiring to watch over the shop -- Curnain was a little ticked to say at the very least. She didn't want to be woken up far too early in the daytime, but her straight, and refined morals allowed her to be respectful, and grateful for this 'opportunity'... and, as the two strolled into the area, Curnain's lips curled upward in a bright, beaming smile.
"Look at all these clothes, and trinkets, papa!" She exclaimed, tugging on the sleeves of his shirt like an ecstatic child as her wisteria-coloration of irises, in conjunction with the rest of her oculars, glanced about at the vivid, detailed objects of merchandise as they passed. Sooner or later, it was likely the young woman would get lost in 'shopping affairs'. Her father would be displeased, but sneaking off couldn't be too bad, right? What type of harm could come out of something like that, anyway?

After a while of simply watching the various warriors who entered the ring he became bored and left. He headed off towards the shopping district aiming to check out the vendors for future use. His mind would wonder rampantly over the various forms and styles he had seen throughout the day, comparing and contrasting each ones pros and cons. Including the monk he had seen earlier, A Shoalin he was. The way his graceful staff style flowed was just amazing! Each move coincided with the next and the only flaw was a minor one, see the monk was right handed and yet he lead with his right foot a dangerous move indeed. As that can cause one to have a higher chance of accidentally striking them self. Due to his own battle experience his eyes unlike most of the people at the ring, would have had the ability to take in the quick movements of the monk. Which allowed him to see every time the monk hit himself and shrugged it off. Truly the monk he saw earlier was a warrior worth praise! His minds rant would end shortly after entering the shopping district of this large trade hub, as he found himself gazing upon a beautiful woman a little ways away. Her eyes were a purple like color that he had never seen before, which only added to his initial attraction. Although he knew his chance of her seeing him was low and that nothing could be gained from such a venture he could at least discover a little about her for future use as well.

Thoughts and pictures fabricated her mind as each item she passed seemed to call out to her. She imagined herself wearing those fancy articles of clothing, jewelry and accessories. It was easy to say, unfortunately, that these thoughts of fashion, and beauty consumed the young woman; much to the point that she and her father separated ways abruptly as a cart sluggishly rolled through, obscuring and blocking her from Niall: the irish immigrant whom settled down in Japan, and brought that shape-shifting bloodline into his child, Curnain.
Once the cart trailed on by, the woman frantically glanced around in search of her papa; her short, petite stature preventing to see forward and onward ahead. Niall needed her help with carrying the goods back to the restaurant, so it was mandatory and crucial to return to her father's side.
The hustle and bustle made it difficult to push through the crowds of people on such a busy day; so her acrobatic and fluid, nimble traits fueled her to slip through each crevice and crack of opening between the crowd to be one step closer to reaching her parent. Though, the sight of an open [and eerily dark] alleyway persuaded her to take that road less traveled. In a dire escape, she chose to walk along the dim-lit path, squeezing through the crowd to be one step closer to the alleyway; purple-shaded eyes resuming to scan around for her father's frame, and ears honed to sway at the sound of his voice.

He would follow after the woman that he laid his eyes on, moving through the crowd, with ease as he ducked and weaved through them. He would lose sight of her several times but eventually he caught sight of her pulling towards the dark alleyway up ahead. He broke into a run in case he lost her, and he began to get a weird feeling from the woman, let alone the abnormally strong reiatsu he felt from her. His stride only broken by a stumble which gave the woman an edge in distance along with him having to maneuver through a crowd. Once Gen had gotten up he rested his hands would rest upon his blade hilts as he gripped them slightly, not necessarily because he was worried of trouble but because it was slightly calming, and the chaos he felt within the busy crowd made him feel uneasy. At this point sure she had entered into the alleyway he entered as well being several meters behind and her form was fleeting. Although her reiatsu was still able to be sensed by him so he wasn't worried of losing track of her. As his movements may have seemed stalker like to most, he simply was following the woman out of pure curiosity by the point being intrigued by her spiritual pressure level.

With a deep inhale, and hesitant pause as she gazed into the alleyway, Curnain mustered some sort of courage to journey on the path less traveled; slowly entering the dim-lit maze of doom!
As she trekked along the cobblestone-like ground, she often debated using her ability to take to the skies as a bird and with that view, to locate her father, prowl along the roof-tops as a feline, or even hunt for him as a dog with their naturally uncanny sense of smell. Still, anyone or anything could be lurking, and it was best to keep those sort of powers on the down-low. It would bring shame, and dishonor to her family, should one discover their bloodline! Business would decline, and their family would be torn apart. She assumed mother didn't know, so if others found out, including herself, wouldn't they deem her and her father, Niall, demonic? She truly didn't know, but she wasn't going to test the theory by any means.
For now, Curnain was alone, and unaware of the dangers that lurked in the eeriness ahead. "Eh, this is nothing. I'll be fine. Just an alleyway." She mused, face scrunching in agreement to her thought-of words.
It wasn't long when she came across a fork in the road, and slowly peeking her head out, deciding to take the left route. Unbeknownst to her, there was a sinister evil that lurked deeper...
Surely the heroic man would make it into the 'corridor' in time, and also choose the right path?!

As she pulled into the alleyway Gen was only a mere twenty feet behind, He walked after her at this point knowing he could become faster if need be. He would stop as a sudden twinge hit him, a different type of reiatsu was ahead although it was so faint to him he couldn't tell what it was, and because of that momentary stop she had almost completely left his sight. At this point he could see just the edge of her clothes heading down the left path. He would trudge on down it not wanting to waste more time with frivolous thoughts or feelings. The way she moved began to intrigue him as well, it was as fluid as a stream, which was something you didn't see in most humans. He began to wonder if she was more then just strong but abnormal as well.

Further, she trekked; her reddish-brown hair dancing back and forth with each light, gentle step she took as she walked along the path. At first, it was a mere straight path, but as her journey progressed, the corridor trisected into three 'choices', one correct walkway, while the other two led to dead ends. The right was the obvious choice since it had this certain light that showed the crowd of people on another street, however, Curnain was looking for some privacy; being that she could tap into her shape-shifting abilities where none would dare exist or travel. So, she walked along the left path, choosing left before the middle or the right, more distant to the 'stalker' as he would inevitably turn the corner to barely see her frame.
Though, surprise! Down that which she traversed, was another jagged, quick and abrupt bisection; in which the woman decided to take a right this time. Fortunately, the menacing, malicious hollow lurked in the left section, however, it's insatiable hunger took a whiff of the succulent, delightfully tasting scent of the woman's soul. Silently, it's lanky, slender and tall being crept out from the alleyway and made it's approach; element of surprise well within it's hands. Soon, Curnain would be cornered to her fate... she just didn't know it, yet.

He had followed her most of the way about up until the second turn he lost sight of her for good her reiatsu being meshed with the other he felt. This making it very difficult for him to track her. Because he had felt both now though he decided perhaps she could be in danger. He would sit and wait for any differences in the reiastu mass near him, or sounds. His eyes closed to help aid him in seeing any difference, and cutting out the visual senses adding strength to his other ones.

The pitter-patter sound of her feet as they tapped against the cobblestone ground remained nearly inaudible against the echoes of the nearby crowds on the popular, main streets. Even still, those boisterous sounds seemingly appeared distant, given that the walls of each building placed side-to-side of one another stood upright rather high; at least maybe seven or eight meters. So, those built structures acted as a blockade from the noisiness, and brought upon silence, isolation, and solitude; which acted as a perfect veil for the shape-shifter. Unbeknownst to Curnain, however, it was the perfect scenery for a hollow to make a strike to kill, and feast…
Halting her light steps once reaching the inevitable dead end, Curnain let out a small, content sigh of relief, speaking low to herself in a murmur, "Phew, now… to take my eyes to the skies." Her wisteria eyes glanced upward at the aquamarine-shifting-turquoise sky above, before returning to the wall in front of her small, slender frame. Then, she glanced downward, noticing something peculiar…
The shadow of herself was off, so say at the least, being rather gargantuan and stretching unusually… as if something else was added to it… and then. That intuitive instinct that supported survival provided with that unnerving, gut-clenching butterfly feeling in her stomach signaled the young woman that something creepy, dastardly, even, stood behind her. She took a moment to ponder the situation, whilst not making any sudden moves as if to alarm the person or creature behind that she had discovered their presence; however, at some point she needed to strike, and catch the being off guard. Forming a miniscule plan rather quickly, the woman inhaled deeply as she let her plot take course.
Twisting nimbly in a contortion of her figure to face the hollow, she pulled senmetsu and inmetsu from her pockets during the span of her rotation, the two daggers tips pointing at the hollow in wait once she completed her half-spin; however, during it, she shouted atop her lungs, "HELP!" Unfortunately, the crowd would continue their daily businesses, but the shout would echo throughout the alleyway, no? While the hollow was incapable of understanding her dialogue, due to lacking intelligence, it did, though, jump slightly at the woman's movements, but soon after lunged forward. The lanky, tall 'vermin' brought his left arm up and swung diagonally downward, aiming to slash the claws through her flesh, which, with the length of his limbs, it practically covered the width distance of the alleyway. The swing descended to slice through her right shoulder, and cleave her in two until it would end against her left hip.
Luckily, reflexes and acrobatics came into play [although those daggers quaked against her trembling hands], the woman crouching low and pushing off her legs to hit the wall where the hollow's swing originally began, back colliding against the structure as she barely evaded the swipe; which took victim several strands of her reddish brown locks of hair.
The hollow, rather dumbstruck that the human slipped through its grasp, hesitated for a moment, allowing for Curnain to find an open crevice between his bulky mass and the side of the corridor. With a nimble spring up from her position and feet, she jumped up and through the opening, slipping past his front to his posterior side, where she curled her body inward to eventually shield her head and neck. Curnain executed a somersault, rolling against the ground with her shoulder blades impacting first, rolled, until her hands uncoiled from her frame and aided in pushing herself off into a sprint.
Though, by that time, the hollow turned it's massive body to face the fleeing prey and began another charge, attempting to catch the running female as it, too, 'ran' after her.
Exerting her legs for any maximum speed she possessed, adrenaline pushed her onward down that path, hands still trembling at the current situation she obviously placed herself in. "Calm down, calm down! Need to remember my specific route to get out of here..." She mused, inhaling and exhaling adequately as she ran, coming up to the first path that intersected this rather horrifying dead end. Why did she decide to go this way?!
Would she turn?!

At the sound of a woman's voice screaming help, he stood, battle ready in an instance. His blades unsheathed and his eyes narrowed, callous, filled with anger. He lunged forth down the alleyway, taking the left path from where the screaming originated. Once he turned down the alley the scream came from, he let out a snarl like that of a wolf, which in fact his features slightly represented, with his long mane, unshaven scruffy facial hair, and his longer and more pointed then normal canine's.

Sorry for the late reply... ^^;;; xD With her own musings, she effectively controlled her panic enough to focus on the 'map' of the alleyway -- meaning the path she had previously taken to get where she was currently at. Like before, Curnain controlled her intake and 'excretion' of air as if to stabilize her thought, prevent hypoxia and hypoxemia, a lack of oxygen flowing to the tissues of her body and throughout her bloodstream, and prevent 'losing wind' as she ran. Luckily, before she entirely passed the turn, Curnain realized and with alacrity, pivoted on her heel [which involved some skidding of her shoes against the cobblestone ground, a low crouch so that her hands could help direct her switch and course of action; which almost made her lose her daggers] and took a quick left down into the next path...
Someone in the distance... could it be her savior...?
To Genkumaru, he would realize and no doubtfully see the woman now as the two would inevitably collide; being that she was now running toward his direction, and he was advancing on her position. He would become aware of the hollow behind the woman, who had stopped short; it's bulky mass beginning to collect energy from it's reservoir and surrounding area to it's agape maw, where it would mold, mend and form a cero. Curnain couldn't see this, as she had no time to look back, and she assumed the beast was on her 'tail', but Gen, who was facing the beast, definitely would notice the ruby energy collected.
Curnain kept scampering, each step making her closer toward the lone 'samurai'; whom she found to be intimidating with his apparel. Still, the corridor was narrow, and the only turn was the intersections near Gen... would she make it in time to turn before the cero obliterated everything in it's path to dust? Or could she slip through the samurai, and he would defend her? Or was he a foe?
It was up to fate... as the cero launched... the torrential beam of energy being like the boulder from Indiana Jones... well, sort of... Could they flee?!

As they inevitably crashed into each other Gen had only a mere moment to grasp and control the situation. He would hold on to her tightly as he shunpo'd above and onto the top of the building where he set her down as he looked upon the Hollow and formulated an attack strategy, his Ice blue eyes cold and callous and naught a word left his lips.
Soon he would speak roughly a moment or two later,"You can see me can't you....Can you fight?", with that he pointed his blades at the hollow and closed his eyes as he went into a pseudo Jinzen stance as he began to release his Shikai. This process was more so to try and appease Fenrir but also so that he could hear the woman's response before moving into combat.

She didn't physically plan to run into the stranger, but as he made no effort to move, and his arms presumably opened up -- as if to embrace her protectively -- Curnain had little time to ponder the predicament. Should he be affiliated in some way with the hollow, Curnain would utterly be doomed... so, could she trust him?
Trust in him, she did.
As she curled slightly to meld into his frame, she was alarmed by the sudden shift and change of position; puzzled at how they could recently be in the alleyway, and now on the ledge of a roof-top. Blinking, she reflexively stepped back from the man, a bewildered, astonished expression plastered upon her face. How could the man do such a thing...? Was he human...? Why was he asking about being able to see him?
"Should I not be able to see you...?" She asked, head tilted to the side. Was he not from this world... realm, per se? What exactly was he doing, anyway?! She had heard of hollow before... but was this guy something else..?
"I-I guess I can fight... Are you not with the hollow?" She inquired, making it obvious that she could see him, and the creature. If that was the case, did he assume she had that 'energy'? That 'ability'?
She stood, daggers grasped within her slender hands, eyes focused on him as he paid direct attention to the hollow; awaiting a response. The cero 'crashed' into the building at the opposite end of the alleyway, and the hollow began to climb it's way up to the two; causing the woman's grip to tighten, her lips to curl between her teeth.
It was coming for another attempt to eat her soul...

His gaze shifted to the woman for a mere second before a wolf like snarl happened on his face as he noticed the hollow approaching, Soon he stood fully erect at 6'4" as he said, "Good..... stand back...".
Assuming that she followed the order, and that he had in fact appeased Fenrir enough to hopefully allow him to call upon his strength, He howled the next words loudly, "FENRIR! HOWL!!!".
What happened next was a brilliant flash of Ice blue light and a sudden drop in temperature within the small area around him as if he was ice himself, this would not necessarily affect anyone but it was just a further showing of what his ability was, it was accompanied by the howl of a wolf at the moon on a cold winters night.
Once the light died out his twin kodaichi's had become two 18 inch kodaichi's that have two inches added on to that last four inches of each blade, which made the head slightly wider. The actual metal of the blades became white like snow. The guards became diamond shaped, and roughly two by two inches. The hilts had light blue leather crisscrossing over the handle to form the grip, they are also slightly bent.
He would pivet and point his left side blade first at the hollow, keeping his right arm chest level. Soon reiatsu visibly surrounded teh blades as he said, "Hakusho!".
He completely shifted his stance as he launched his right arm forward in a stab like motion at the hollow followed by the left, still maintaining chest level with both arms, although now his front was facing Curnain and not his back. What emanated forth from the blades were lance like ice spears from each blade. The lances were four feet long and about two inches in diameter each. Each one was aimed at the hollows head. And by merely touching, traces of his reiatsu would be left upon the hollow or whatever else they touched allowing him to freeze the water in the area around said reiatsu.

In comparison, Curnain was quite quite short, to the point where the Samurai-looking fellow would likely tower over her if facing one another. Though, for the time being, she complied; wisteria eyes averting to the damaged building, which was obscured by a thick, cloudy mist of debris and dirt particles. She could hear the screams and wails of agony, causing her face to scrunch into one of dismay. Succulent sweet lips curled into a frown, brows declined, alabaster complexion portraying utter regret and remorse... however, more thought made that expression shift to anger, in conjunction with the man's low snarl. Her grip stabilized, thought remained tightened, as she mustered up the courage and drive to fuel some sort of action. It faded, though, with the abnormal 'release' and power driven by the man she stood behind.
Curnain couldn't grasp what it actually was, but the signs were present: flash of blue light, cold aura that permeated the air around her -- which gave shivers down her spine -- and the extraordinary howl accompanied by this overwhelming sensation. His Kodaichi even changed in shape both in shape, composition and general make-up! "What in the hell is this guy?" She wondered and mused, eyes widening at the next sight. She could see that reiatsu, the spiritual energy even she was composed of. Not only that, but the visible attack left her at some surprise; but, she focused to the other factor that needed attention. The people in the building.
Probably going against his wishes and now that he was facing her, the woman backed up, allowing her enough room and distance to make her next move. She sprinted and lunged off the side of the building, effectively hurling herself to the opposite side and 'string' of buildings. Unlike before, her landing was a little rough, skidding as her feet hit the rooftop, but she managed. Standing upright, she looked back to see the man's reaction, whilst speaking. "I'm going to help the villagers!" Then, assuming he would respond, Curnain would welcome the obscuring mist by slowing approaching it.
As for the hollow, it's stupidity inevitably saved it's life. Unfortunately for Genkumaru, it missed a grip when climbing, making it fall back into the maze of alleys; essentially causing the bulky creature to evade his lances. Instead, it tried a new tactic, which came at the revealing of it's ability. It's bulky mass split into two, like a cell undergoing mitosis/meiosis, creating a smaller, but twin version of itself. With the division, there now was two opponents for the Vizard, and lessened the weight of the once bulky hollow. So, in exchange for surface area, the two increased in speed since they weren't tied down by the lingering weight before. The two halves soon became two small wholes, speedily climbing up the walls. With his back turned, he probably didn't see the entirety of the situation about to unfold, allowing the creatures to assemble on the roof-top with the lone Vizard, now roughly standing at his height.
One lunged low, aiming to tackle his legs and cause him to fumble to the ground, while the other swiped on chest level, aiming to cleave or strike his body into two. The lower one was at his left side, while the other was to his right.

Soon took full note of the situation once she said she was leaving to help the villagers but before he could say anything she was gone. And so he stood waiting for the bastard to approach quickly noticing he missed it with his Ice lances.
His demeanor quickly changed as suddenly two hollows, which felt like the other, appeared at each of his sides. The one aiming to sweep away at his legs was aloud to hit him as he used that falling momentum to doge the cleave, whilst in midst of falling he aimed a reiatsu enhanced slash at the one who preformed the sweep and kept his other blade close for defensive purposes.
With the sweeping one being nigh defenseless surely his attack would hit, albeit if it only glanced, his reiatsu would latch on to it and begin to freeze the surrounding area and more, only slightly but it could prove to be an irritant. This being the nature of how his reiatsu worked whilst released in shikai.
Now the two ice lance's, having missed, lodged themselves in to the wall opposite of where they were shot as the building that was behind the hollow was taller then the one gen stood on. Now these lances began freezing the surrounding reshi in the air and collecting it at gens guidance and command.

Now, while Genkumaru had successfully evaded the incoming cleaving of a lifetime, per se, he succumbed to the tackle of the century! As he fell down, both hollow and Vizard, Genkumaru flung his sword to strike the left attacking creature; fortunately, he barely caught the hollow's shoulder section with his blade, considering the height difference when the hollow lunged down low to the ground whereas Genkumaru was standing upright. However, his effort was successful, and the hollow on the left side wailed in pain as he sliced the hide at the shoulder. There was, however, one small problem. The other hollow was at the right side of him, and being that the other half attacked his left and brought him down, they'd be knocking into the right lesser hollow. So, like a domino affect, they all fell down, right arm of the right hollow aiming to slam down upon Genkumaru, solely due to reflex and instinct. Would he shield and brace himself for the impact of falling, and the 'hulk smash'?
As she alerted Genkumaru of her intentions, Curnain quickly embraced the clouds of smoke from the destroyed debris of the building. Crouching low, and with a coughing fit, she realized it was best to lessen the inhalation by ripping a good deal of fabric from her arm. She placed her left dagger back by her side as she utilized the one in her right hand to shred the 'piece' from her clothes, where she proceeded to wrap the cloth around her nose and mouth. As her eyes would get particles from the smoke and cause irritation for them, Curnain decided to shut them -- after leaping and landing back into the alleyway, of course -- honing on her eyes to determine the distance to the wailing, shouting shrieks of pain and agony. She walked down the alleyway carefully as she went, left hand on the left wall as if to guide her; and feet cautiously moving against the cobblestone, as if not to trip onto any mass obstruction from the cero.
She was getting closer... she could hear the cries intensely with each passing step.

He rose his right blade up in defense of the smashing hand, edge first, and added strength to it, to form it into more of an attack then a defense. He then allowed himself to crash into the rooftop knowing that the crushing hand would have hurt more if he didn't block that. The ice over yonder on the opposite building had reformed into two spears waiting to be shot out once more. Each being slightly wider and smaller then the original two, being roughly four feet long and five inches wide. Now on the wound he left on the other hollow a small amount of ice began forming around and over it barely two inches in width and a little less then six inches in length. Upon his inevitable crash a loud thud would be heard, perhaps his weight would cause some damage to the hollow underneath him perhaps not.

Whilst the hand did smash down, it was impaled by the edge of Genkumaru's right blade, causing the descended hollow to shriek in pain. It's hand was jabbed through at the center of the palm, after all! How wouldn't that not hurt? It seemingly stopped mid-thrust down, aiming to pull out the blade by painfully slinking away in a crawl. The other hollow, whom landed atop of Genkumaru slightly, began to withdraw and stood up, clawing at its own flesh wound, as if to rid itself of the cold feeling it was having. Ironically and strangely enough, it seemed the creature could tell something was out of the ordinary, and in the thought of survival, tried to remove the 'threat' against the foreign attacker, so to speak. Basically, Genkumaru would be left on the ground, laying on his back while the two creatures retreated to a safe distance away from him.
Meanwhile, Curnain was actually using her ears to hone in on the voices, which became closer and closer with each step; and, as she crossed over the bulk and mass of debris that tore down the wall of the building Curnain entered the home. As she jumped in, abruptly, Curnain could now practically determine where the injured folks were, because the wailing was just too thunderous and booming as opposed to the echoes outside. She used her hands, like before, to guide her way toward a child, whom was crying in pain, making sure not to step into furniture and the like as she did so. "I'm here to help, don't worry!" She shouted, alerting them of her presence and evident heroism.
She could do this!

Gen having felt a semi hard hit upon his back simply laid there regaining himself, but once the hollows began fleeing he quickly acted, pointing his left blade at the ice spears and then making a slash like motion ending with the "arc" so to say cutting across both hollow. When this happened the two Ice spears quickly launched them selves at their targets aiming to hit them in the center of their chests. If so Gen would use these to began making the hollows into Ice blocks. He quickly began to rise to his feet as well, flowing reiatsu around and into his blades.

Okay, so, I found some issues that need clarification. Technically, you are only allowed Shikai, and you claimed that the hollow had traces of your reiatsu on his shoulder; which I looked and I only see it as a Bankai attack thing, so that shouldn't have happened. Unless I quickly glanced through and read over it, or something. Also, you mentioned that the air would become cold, which if I remember correctly, was a Bankai only thing as well. I'm also confused as to if one blade solely controls one spear, and what not, cause if that's the case, then you'd have to motion your other sword too; because only one sword creates one ice spear. So, if you could, clarify in a spoiler post next post? Thanks. The hollows, which headed off into opposite directions, were prepared as Genkumaru hit his head onto the ground with a loud thud. In fact, as he motioned with his blades, the hollows jumped respectively as anticipating some sort of action -- or, the two had just been scared. Though, as the spears moved from their respective positions recently, and flung toward each hollow, they had been so focused before that they were capable of just barely missing each spear; so that the one hollow's side was grazed and cut, while the other, whom had been hurt before in the shoulder, cleanly escaped that attack. They remained in their positions, though, despite Genkumaru now standing to face them. It was as if they were waiting, or something.
For Curnain, it didn't take long to approach the child, and she squatted down beside the young boy, whom had heard her voice before. Instinctively, the child wrapped his arms around her frame and latched onto her back, and Curnain quickly sprouted back up -- carrying the small child with a piggy-back ride. "Who else is in this building?!" She yelled, and was surprised to hear another response, seemingly from the further side of the small house. "Me! Help me, please! It's just me and my son!" The woman hollered in agony, and Curnain began to follow the sound of her voice, inquiring. "How badly are you injured?"
With their conversation ongoing, Curnain figured she could eventually make her way toward the mother; extra careful now that she lost her ability to touch as she held the child's feet with her hands.
"I just can't find my way out!"
Curnain was truly relieved, but she still pressed onward, wondering how the stranger before was fairing against the threat outside.

Hey umm, Your right about the ice reiatsu sticking attack, that was Bankai only, But technically I didn't say the attack or whatever and I only used a small scale version so that fine? And it also had no effect. Now with the Ice spears, the controlling is mental not with the blades, the movement was more or less used as a focus. As with the chilling effect, that is not a bankai ability that is more or less Maio Renge but small scale and not creating the fog as it were. As note that my reiatsu is ice element based so it does have freezing capabilities. I hope that clears it up? Feel free to PM if you have further problems Court. Gen reacted violently to their dodge and simple waiting, taking it as a act of disrespect and so he finally cracked and howled as a mask soon donned his face, its appearance had the look of a wolfs face and even included a small snout. It had dark blue fur like markings on it where the mane would be, and on the cheeks and forehead. His new primal power that had been released in him had driven him into a furious state as he pointed his left pointer finger at the one with the side injury and growled, " Vindictive martyr poised as flawless as heaven’s blanched bolt torn through thine own claw! Hadou no Yon! Byakurai!", what would spring forth from that finger was fast moving arc of white lightning. And then towards the other hollow he would rush it and once arriving within a foot and a half of it crouch low and break into a spin slashing wildly and rapidly, Hopefully cutting the damn beast several times.

I think it's an issue if it's not for Shikai, and yet you're using it; especially if you didn't include it within the description on your profile. Um, you should direct these questions to the Q&A thread, because I really don't know the answer to them. Not sure if you need to call out the names of each attack to initiate them. Sorry. e.e; The hollows -- if they didn't look perplexed or dumbfounded already -- seemed to enter a confused state as the man sported what they would consider a hollow mask; well, giving him the appearance of a hollow like themselves. In fact, the one was so lost with the fact that the man was either playing tricks, or perhaps transforming into a hollow that the lightning bolt struck, cleaning penetrating the hollow's chest, in which it let out a loud shriek as it fell down against the roof-top; the creature's blood soon trickling from the fatally lethal wound. It's breaths became hoarse, loud and short as it gazed above, slowly suffering.
The other hollow's legs were hacked in two, and as it collapsed, it succumbed to the multiple spin Genkumaru pulled; leaving the hollow's torso bisected as well. It was an instant pass on, the creature vanishing as it either faced the wrath of hell, or the ascension into soul society as a pulse and soul. Eventually, the hollow brethren who faced the mortal wound dispersed from the cold air as well, leaving Genkumaru to his own hollow-esque demeanor as he placed the mask upon his face.
Curnain had finally reached the woman, allowing her to be guided with a grip on the young female's clothing. She tried to recall specifically her tracks, the smoke beginning to thin to show the light outside the newly created hole in their house. Not that she could see, mind you, given that her eyes were closed, but when the older woman remarked about it, Curnain squinted her left eye open; revealing the wisteria-hued iris and the dilated pupil that constricted to the introduction of even the dimmest lighting. So, with one eye open, the woman held the child against her back, while guiding the mother to the outside. She was careful as she stepped over the rubble, the mother following in step. Then, the trio walked along the alleyway, eventually entering the clarity that was the clean air. They each respectively coughed, and Curnain settled the child back onto the ground; which the mother reflexively lunged forward and clung tightly to her little boy. She was thanked softly, in which Curnain smiled as she removed the ripped cloth from her maw and nodded. "You're welcome." She opened both eyes and glanced skyward, wondering if the hollow had been slain. Still, she had to guide the united pair out of the alleyway first.

Latched on to the females, whose life he may have saved, scent once the hollows were slain, and shunpo'd near her, his hollow mask still worn upon his face. As he walked towards her, he then would notice the other two with her and decided to remain silent less their saviour appear crazy for possibly answering him. Because the boy and female most likely could not see him, and if he got too close he may injure them.
As he appeared now, he was quite rough, his armor torn and scuffed, and his reiatsu slowly draining away. The mask upon his face may perhaps spur Curnain into action, perhaps not.

Just a tip: if you have reiatsu sensing as a skill and it's at level 0; meaning that if anything, you can faintly feel the presence of reiatsu, but you are unable to locate it or determine exactly who has that signature. So, just be careful in the near future, maybe glance at the skills when you have time. Thanks. She was glancing upward at the sky and beyond momentarily, until the blurry silhouette of the male came into view in front of her, clearing by mere seconds with his 'off-world' technique. He was different somehow, given by the air, the vibe, and the noticeable mask upon his visage. In fact, the glowing eyes surprised her slightly, but not enough to jump. His clothes were ragged and tattered, making her wonder about how she would have fared by herself, should she have been alone in the alley. Instead, she mentally shook off the thought, and focused more on his appearance. She didn't notice any injuries externally, but she couldn't quite grasp the reasoning as to why he was wearing a mask.
"Okay, if you two will follow me, I'll guide you out." Curnain turns back to face the two with a reassuring smile, before twisting her head to face what was in front of her: Genkumaru. She flickered her eyes to the wall, gesturing for him to kindly move to the side so that the two wouldn't run into him. It wasn't a matter of them not being able to see him, for she addressed him regardless... "Please move to the side for a brief moment, sir." She commanded, but was utterly surprised as the other woman muttered, "What man?" Curnain cocked her head immediately backward, scratching the nape of her neck, slightly looking dumbfounded. So... he was of the supernatural!
"Sorry, I must still have some debris in my eyes, but I'm fine now." She made up an excuse, returning to face him; hoping he would comply to make things easier.

His mask would fade away, and his blades returned to normal as he sheathed them and then he complied wordlessly and moved to the left wall, leaning against it as he let her pass, hopefully she would speak to him once the woman and child were safe.
She appeared to have fared well herself, only her clothes were torn slightly and from what he can tell a bandage or field dressing must have been made from the sizable rip that he could see. Perhaps it was best that he had fought the hollow alone.

She would watch as he returned to his 'normal' self, tilting her head slightly as if curious, no doubt, as to what was the explanation of this. Still, her mission was not yet complete, and so as soon as he had moved, Curnain walked on, remembering her way throughout the 'maze' of alleyways in order to free the child and mother from harm, ultimately. She was rather quick, though always glanced back to check up on the two, whom seemed to be doing fine now that they were safely away from the destroyed building and smoke. So, as she led them to the end of the alley and onto the street, the mother gave a grateful smile and picked her son up, carrying him as she strolled onto the busy street probably in the direction of the nearest medical center; turning her head back whilst she muttered a heartfelt, 'thank you'. Curnain smiled brightly and waved, before turning to enter the alley again. She had sort of hoped the man could have met her halfway, because walking through again seemed like a huge hassle. Or, maybe if he just followed the trio to the end, and maybe stayed out of the humans' views slightly hidden in the alley. Still, she didn't mind much, for down the road awaited answers for her questions.
She needed to make sure he was all right, after all... amongst the other things.

Had indeed followed but slowly, being halfway by the time that she had reached the streets, his eagerness to talk was high, but he also kept distance from the woman and child do to his spiritual pressure that all beings had, could make those with lower spiritual pressure feel sick or weak. Knowing that those two must have been survivors from the blast, he did not want to cause them further harm. And so after reaching halfway he sat and went into a Jizen stance, as he told Fenrir 'thanks' for helping him defeat the hollows.
Curnain being curious already probably had a multitude of things to ask, and so the Jizen was also being used to help him think about possibly answers and reply's.

Luckily, the man had followed if only slightly, so she'd slip back into the alleyway briefly for but a moment, hands beginning to rest upon her hips. Her lips pursed for a second, only to pose if anything, as she directed her questions to the man, "So, mind starting off and telling me who and what you are?" She shifted all her weight onto her one side, cocking her head to that adjacent side as she appeared curious, but slightly demanding. Then again, knowledge is power, right?
