It was a cold day in the Soul Society. For unlike most days it was snowing. However it was not a gentle snow but a BLIZZARD OF METEOROLOGICAL SCIENCE. During the times when the howling winds lulled, one could see a WHOLE TWENTY METERS IN FRONT OF THEM. In fact it was so snowy that SCHOOL WAS OUT FOR WINTER people were leaving early to go get cups of hot cocoa and sit by their fireplaces.
However there were a select few who weren't drinking CUPS OF HOT COCOA NEAR A ROARING FIRE. For these few had a different objective in mind. This objective was FUN FUN FUN EVEN IF THERE WAS NO SUN BUT INSTEAD THERE WAS A LARGE BLIZZARD THAT SEVERELY RESTRICTED YOUR VISION. These select few were able to occupy themselves by having snowball fights and by making snowmen and snow angels.
One of these select few was a young mod-soul named Biru. Having donned his nice WARM JACKET OF SCIENCE, Biru had managed to insulate himself from the cold WITH SCIENCE. Having decided to make a snowman, Biru had just finished making measurements for the snowman's size. As he rolled a ball of snow through the foot high snow, Biru made some mental calculations in order to find out the rate of the snowballs growth. "And that finishes the base." Biru said to himself as he took a step back to double check his handiwork.

Alas for Misaki, she was not among either group of comfort or fun seekers. As a grunt among the KC, the masked Shinigami had once again been sent out on errands. Less than adept at finding her way in normal circumstances, the blizzard was an utter nightmare for her, and soon to be a nightmare for Biru's snowman base. As one couldn't see normal things twenty feet in front of them, seeing a ball of snow upon snow while it was snowing while wearing a mask was essentially impossible. So Misaki's shinigami uniform clad figure for all intents and purposes was set to kickwalk (because that's the only real way to walk through a blizzard) straight through Biru's hard work.

As he double checked his handiwork, Biru smiled to himself. CALCULUS HAD PAID OFF...for once. The base was a the perfect size and would be ready for the next step in his snowman construction. In fact, Biru doubted that he could pull off such a fine base a second time if he tried.
However that was when DISASTER STRUCK. Misaki had indeed managed to kick his base and sent it flying everywhere. OH THE HUMANITY. The poor defenseless base never stood a chance. It was just in the prime of it's life and was so close to starting the next step in it's life. ONLY TO BE CUT DOWN BY A WAYWARD KICK. "MY SNOWMAN BASE!" Biru exclaimed in both a horrified and sad voice, as these thoughts raced through his head. "Why would you destroy my base." Biru asked Misaki in a wavering tone. How could someone destroy another person's hard work? IT WAS UNSCIENTIFICAL. No it wasn't unscientifical. It went beyond that. IT WAS NEGA-SCIENCE.
