It was another day at the lab for Biru. There were test tubes and beakers and experiements that nearly blew up a good portion of the headquarters, but most important of all THERE WAS SCIENCE. SCIENCE that was interesting and fun and educational and even volatile. However on this particular day, Biru would soon find himself facing yet another of life's problems. However this wouldn't be like Biru's usual problems of running to cover before a solution blew up or running from a carnivorous rabbit. This problem would involve a very dangerous man. However this man wasn't like most men. For this man carried a very large hatchet and had a cube for a head.
It appeared that Biru's archnemesis (who he had only met once and had exchanged no words with) WAS BACK WITH A VENGEANCE. Waiting and biding it's time, the nefarious cubehead prepared for it's VENGEANCE.
Having been assigned to patrol the headquarters for the night, Biru kept to his usual routine and began to make himself some tea. Chopping the ingredients into pieces, Biru made sure to carefully measure the amount of each ingredient as he mixed them together. Once he was satisfied with the concoction OF SCIENCE that he had created, Biru mixed the ingredients with the water that he had heated and began to stir it all together to create his TEA OF SCIENCE.
However that was when he heard what sounded like something falling in the distance. Immediately standing up, Biru focused on listening for anymore noises and heard what sounded like claws scraping on the ground. Rushing off to investigate, Biru ran down the hallway and came to a sudden halt. Listening again for any noise, Biru heard more movement and once again began to run towards the source. Continuing to run, Biru soon turned around the corner and came upon a terrifying sight.
For he found himself face to face with not only Cubehead but also a rather large scorpion. Obviously there was only one thing that Biru could do in this type of situation. Running away, Biru could hear the sounds that the two predators made as they chased him. Frequently turning around corners to look behind him, Biru eventually risked looking back and noticed that they couldn't see him. Quickly darting into a room, Biru created four turrets and aimed them at the door.
Holding his breath as he waited for the scorpion and cubehead to burst through the door and attack, Biru was suprised when the two of them passed by the door. Waiting for the sounds of both of their movements to fade away, Biru cautiously stepped forward and peaked into the hallway. Giving a sigh of relief now that it was safe, Biru just had to sneak out and find reinforcements.
But that was when another thought entered Biru's mind. What if they weren't trying to kill him? WHAT IF THEIR TRUE PURPOSE WAS TO SABOTAGE SCIENTIFIC EXPERIMENTS? Biru could not let such a thing occur and with determination, Biru knew that he would have to stop them.
Stealthily moving forward, Biru let the turrets fall apart and moved down the hallway. Coming within earshot of the pair, Biru peaked around the next hallway corner and once he saw the coast was clear, moved closer to the source of the noise. Staying close to the hallway wall as he moved towards the noise source, Biru once again peaked down the hallway. However this time the scorpion was there.
Confused about the absence of cubehead, Biru figured that they must have split up. Forming two turrets, Biru had both of them take aim at the scorpion and fire two normal shots at it. Watching as both shots went through the creature's armor, Biru was suprised when the scorpion faced him and began to charge. Deciding to go with plan B, Biru fired several more shots which also went through the creatures armor. Continuing to fire at the monster, Biru didn't stop until it had fallen over and was spread a few feet around it.
Relieved that he had managed to defeat one of the two foes, Biru gave a sigh of relief. However this sigh quickly turned into a shudder when he noticed that there was an unfamiliar shadow behind him. Having enough common sense to jump forward instead of looking behind, Biru managed to avoid being bisected as Cubehead brought his hatchet down where Biru had been.
Quickly readjusting the turrets, Biru fired both of them at cubehead. However that was when Biru remembered that cubehead was able to endure his attacks WITH HIS WICKED ANTI-SCIENCENESS. Quickly moving back, as cubehead cut down both of the turrets, Biru tried to come up with an idea quickly.
Quickly coming up with an idea, Biru spawned another turret. However instead of firing directly at cubehead he shot above him in order to bury him under debris. Luckily for Biru this worked and BIRU HAD ACHIEVED VICTORY IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE. Quickly rushing off to get reinforcements, Biru was horrified to discover that cubehead had managed to crawl out of the debris and had escaped. DUN DUN DUNNNNN.
