Rei sighed and shook her head, dropping her focus on her reiatsu sensory and focusing on the sound of laughter. Obviously someone was either having a larf because she was actually a he, or because she looked ridiculous standing in the middle of some fog trying to use her dimly trained sense to see if another was around. Though judging by the shadow, perhaps there was someone else around; and better yet, she could figure out what the heck she was supposed to do here.
Just a short while before, aside from learning that someone had decided it was funny to make him into a woman, Rei had managed to somewhat lead a team to victory. Lead in the loosest sense. Now, she was stuck in some fog with no clue as to where everyone was, if she was alone, and what she was supposed to do. Rei knew she had to at least get going; surely if she could find someone or find an exit, then she could get somewhere. Better than just standing in place as she decided to carefully follow the shadow, crouching low to the ground so that possibly if she were to be led astray that she wouldn't trip over anything that she missed with her gaze. Hopefully anyway.
And so follow the shadow became plan A!

As darkness enclosed about the shinigami, she felt the hair on the back of her arms stand on end. This place was giving her the serious creeps. She was drawn to the light of the orbs, like a moth to the flame. She took care with her footing, trying not to trip over anything as she made her way to the orb, pursuing it more fervently now as the darkness threatened to swallow her whole.
Seeing a shadow tinted green made Jira jumpy, as it reminded her of the nefarious creatures she had just battled.
"Hello?" she called out, her masculine voice still strange in her ears. If it was an animal, it would scare it away and she would be done with it. If it were something else...well she would have to play that by ear.

Ryosei - 1 [AU-004]
Though you ignore the orbs, they do not ignore you. One bobs ahead of you while the rest follow behind you like a tail, causing your shadow to extend far ahead of you where the lead orb's light does not reach. From your shadow something darker starts to move. It's small and smells like alcohol and twice worn clothes. You hear a burp. Perhaps more of a belch.
[Chikaru]
Deeper in the forest now, you find that the orbs increase in number. Their light casts long shadows all around you, but behind you is the biggest shadow of all. The mist from before has now darkened and moves steadily behind you, its veil eating away at where you had been moments before. Ahead of you comes laughter different than the orbs. You can hear the sound of rustling brush, footsteps, and faint traces of music. Below your feet the ground cushioning changes from grass and leaves to beds of four leaf clovers, similar to those that had been in the clearing.
[Kurisuna]
Suddenly, you find the forest floor staring back at you. A head with its face upturned has partially emerged from the grassy surface. The red bearded green clad figure spits a shamrock at you before immediately disappearing from that spot only to pop up directly behind you. It then attempts to kick you in the butt. All the while the orbs ring around you and the little man sings some strange Irish song. Judging by the smell of him, it's safe to say it's about drinking.
[Rei]
With Plan A in motion, the orbs around you move in closer. Their light is less spread out now and as you move, the things around you start to show up in greater detail. You find nothing of interest at first, unless sticks and grass interest you, but as you move deeper into the forest a patch of odd red fibers lays directly in your path.
[Jira]
"Top o'the mornin' to ya!"
The reply to your question is abrupt, loud, and in Irish, so you do not understand its exact meaning. The tone its spoken in however, is something you are familiar with in others; cheeriness. Still, you don't see who has replied to your question. Only the orbs are there. That is until the green shadow flits directly in front of you, moving to the trees on your right, their bark just barely visible to you under the glow of the nearest orb.

004 was rather irritated with the floating, glowing orbs. If they were going to harass and follow her, they could at least provide proper illumination, instead of spending their time lighting up the area behind him. When she saw the movement in the shadows, she stopped for a moment, the unpleasant scent and sound reminding her of the little green men that had assaulted her previously on the field. The best way to deal with the little gibberish-spouting munchkins seemed to be punching them in the face, so, she stepped forward, trying to catch the whatever-it-was in the light from the orbs, prepared to dispense punching if necessary.

As the being reared its accursed face, Kurisuna remained largely unresponsive in spite of the turmoil within, even as it spat to provoke her; her blood boiled, her patience for the sheer realism of this blasphemy waned, and as she fell headlong into the forest floor's discarded leaves, Kurisuna finally snapped out of her torpor and responded aggressively again, retrieving the possibly-still-enchanted whip, puppy giggles and rainbow ponies be damned, before lashing out for her repugnant, not to mention elusive offender.

Rei paused and took a moment to stop in her tracks, quickly studying the odd red fibers that were before her. She needed to figure out what they were for the moment, and she was clearly intent on using the light the orbs were providing to try and get a look without moving too close. After all, there was no telling what the mass of fibers was right now, and she wasn't about to approach any closer than was necessary. If it was cloth or fabric, then she would recognize it perhaps as such as a craftsman, perhaps. But, anything else was going to be foreign and unknown, and she quietly wondered if perhaps it was an obstacle.
If she was on the right path, then she needed to see if it was tall enough to jump over via Shunpo or not. Then again, there was also the fact that she needed to figure out if it was possible to go around it or not.

Jira blinked in confusion. No, she didn't understand the precise words that garbled into her ears, but she did understand the tone. Well she did get an answer, but she had no clue as to the source! Her eyes flicked around, trying to glimpse but only caught sight of green shadow flickering to her right and out of sight.
"Would you come out where I could see you? I am lost, and was hoping to find my way home. Could you help me? Her tone was polite, as she was keen to tread these grounds carefully. In such darkness, she felt vulnerable. The last green creatures she encountered were tricky, and she had no idea what to expect at this point.

Ryosei looked around as she followed the light orb, it seemingly giggling as it randomly swerved around. As the area started to seem to get worse and dangerous, and now laughter in the air, Ryosei started to chant a kido spell. "Vindictive martyr, poised as flawlessly as the heavens, tear with thy lustrous claw! Hadou no Yon! Byakurai!" she said, pointing her finger in front of her and to the ground as the white lightning bolted forth, hopefully allowing her to illuminate the unclear area as the spell would just hit the ground. She didn't like where this was heading.

Chikaru - 2
One more and you will be exited from the event. [AU-004]
Perhaps these wee green clad red bearded men are like animals, because as you step forward with an aura of punching malice, the shadow halts in front of you. The orbs narrow in on the figure who's hands are held in front of him. "Aye, ya got me, lass!" Then a wicked green spreads across his face as a twin image sprouts from the earth behind you and plants a kick squarely upon your behind sending you falling face down. And falling, and falling, and falling. You never hit earth, instead your are speeding through a portal which promptly opens up into a bar.
[Kurisuna]
"Wee beastie s'angry," came the drawling squawk from the now imprisoned figure. "Aye, aye. Off wi'ya then!" Before you can further enact your revenge upon the odd little man, the forest floor opens up beneath you and swallows you whole. You feel like you're falling for ages until the world stops and reforms around you in the guise of a bar.
[Rei]
The red fibers continue to lay before you, unmoving. Without closer inspection you are unable to determine their original. Around you, the orbs bob frantically as if annoyed with you. A few bump against your back. The warmth of their light fills you with an overwhelming urge to hurry. But to what?
[Jira]
"Such a polite lad!"
A stout little man waddles out of the shadows to stand before you. "Well then, I guess s'time for ya ta head off!" He then pulls out a sword from Shinigami only knows where and proceeds to behead you! Except the sword never reaches you. It does cut through the space around you however and you find yourself transported to a bar.
[Ryosei]
Your spell illuminates the ground for a couple of seconds and reveals to you... grass of the finest quality! To your left however, you hear a deep chuckle at your expense. The air starts to smell like a beer to many about you and the orbs dance merrily around your head, their lights flashing between white and green before your eyes. AU-004, Kurisuna, and Jira are now in Az's thread. Make sure you read the first post of the thread so you know what's going on. [ link]

A deep sigh escaped her lips as her feet finally came to a halt. Her eyes panned about the area in front of her, scanning for any signs of others. With the increasing laughter, and the sounds of music ringing within her ears, it was obvious that she wasn't alone. She pivoted off her foot, turning to see behind her considering there was no one in front.
"It's obvious I'm not alone here. So how about you show yourself? I'd love to find a way out of this hell."

Ryosei kept on turning around as she heard giggling someone from seemingly everywhere around her. [color-orange]"Who is there?!"[/color] she said, as the bright lights continued to flash odd colors at her.

Rei -1 [Chikaru]
Only darkness greets your eyes as you turn to face the direction you had come from. Nothing remains as the mist continues toward you, dark tendrils reaching around your frame, dissolving your surroundings. The only constant is the noise which echos in your ears even as the earth gives way beneath your feet and fills you with an overwhelming since of falling. "Well, since ye asked," a voice chortles in your ear before a green light blinds you. When your eyes adjust, you find yourself standing in a bar.
[Ryosei]
From the corner of your eye on your left side, you see a short figure stagger out of the trees. It is soon followed by another then another and yet another, each from a different direction, leaving you surrounded by red bearded short people in garish green garments. Each one raises a large glass in your direction and in unison they say, "We're the beerdrop guild!" Before you have time to take in their words, the little men hurl their drinks at you, coating you in the amber liquid. Your body feels like it is melting away as the liquid pools upon the ground, but you are simply sinking into the earth and overcome by darkness. Eventually you feel solid once again and as light returns to the world, you find that you are in a bar. Ryosei and Chikaru exited to Az's event. Rei blinked, and then turned to the orbs before deciding to use a quick Shunpo just so she could slip right over the fibers via a quick hop and land behind them. At least, that was the goal so she could go on and find her way out of this weird mist filled place.

Having chosen not to closely examine the fibers, you have lost the easiest exit out of the forest. So you continue on with the orbs as your guide. The laughter of the fairy creatures inside the lights mixed with the deeper, less friendly, laughter from the forest depths haunts you as you make your way through the trees. Out of the corner of your eyes, you feel as if you are seeing shadows moving about that aren't coming from you, the orbs, or the trees. To your left you hear rustling beneath the overtone of the laughter. To your right, you can make out the sound of feet pattering about on the ground behind the trees and plant life in between them.

Rei paused, popping an eyebrow up only to stop in her tracks and glance at her left and then the right. She wasn't sure which path to take, but given that she was following the light given to her by orbs, and merely decided that at the best, it might be wise to follow the pattering feet. Though if necessary, she was fully intent on going back if there was no end in sight.
"Wish I had Holt or Terra around, then again, maybe not," She mused, realizing that if they were with her, then they would no doubt have switched genders as well. A male Terra and a female Holt. That was not a good picture, as far as property damage was concerned.

[Rei]
As you follow the sound of pattering feet, the noise of rustling from the foliage you left behind grows louder despite the distance you've put between yourself and where you had been. Even as the noise grows louder, the imagery before you increases. Several short figures spring out from the trees in front of you.
"Boo," they shout in unison at you. At the same time, you hear the sudden rush of running and a small foot plants itself firmly in your backside, sending you flailing to the ground. Ground which is no longer there. You fall for what seems like hours in the darkness which now surrounds you. Eventually you stop falling and you can make out shapes again, only to discover you are now in a bar.
Rei exited to Az's thread. Make sure you read the first post of the thread so you know what you're dealing with. [ link]
