Profile Information
Name: Norishima Nod
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Faction: Spiritually Aware Human
Rank: Blacksmith
Reiatsu Color: Faded Brown
Reiatsu Aura: Like everything is spiraling out of control.
Appearance: Short and scruffy, with furtive, darting eyes. He wears a thick, grubby leather blacksmith’s apron, and an overlarge tool belt. His hair is black, his eyes brown, and he stands at roughly 5’4. And he's scrawny to boot!
Personality: Nod is crazy. Or, to be more precise, Nod is abnormally sane but finds the world conspires for him to be otherwise, so he believes that he’s crazy. He’s grown accustomed to talking with himself and his hammers, and distrusts the existence of any and all beings he comes into contact with.
History: Nod’s mother died in childbirth, and his father was a soldier, killed in some battle. He lived in a small, rural village, where the village blacksmith took him in, as an apprentice in his shop. Nod was generally shunned by the other villagers, as, when he was younger, he claimed to be able to see the recently departed.
Around his eighteenth birthday, a year before finishing his apprenticeship, a minor hollow wandered its way into the village, drawn by Nod’s burgeoning spiritual energy. It attacked him in the forge, and the subsequent activation of his powers drove the beast off. Unfortunately, his Master heard Nod’s cries of fright, and came to see what had happened. He found Nod curled in the corner of the forge, and reached down to comfort him. The contact sent a shock through his body, stopping his heart. Not quite understanding what had happened, Nod fled.
He ended up in Osaka, where he alternately worked as a blacksmith for next to nothing and begged on the street for about the same. He fears the villagers are hunting him down for the murder of his Master, though in actuality they wrote it off as death by natural causes and chose to ignore the fact the Nod has gone missing, instead counting themselves lucky to be rid of the odd boy. Though, they are short a blacksmith now…
