Appearance
Immensely colossal in personality, this extraordinary feminine soul is undeniably short in size. Having reached a maximum height of 5'3", and not growing further anytime soon, Akuhei just stands below the average size of any basic female. Even for her 'puny' size, however, she is well built in muscle, with a fairly tight six pack on her abdomen, and equipped with the perfect breast size. All that rigorous training and fighting truly paid off, that is, if she really wanted these unnecessary 'benefits'; though, such trivial 'objects of desire' Akuhei truly could care less about.
Dark red strands of hair, sometimes specified as a ruby while glistening in the sun, halt around her hips. Entirely optional, Akuhei may pull her hair in the standard ponytail, which usually depends on the current situation or task at hand. Her deep yellow eyes often turn a sparkling, and dazzling shade of golden auburn as well when exposed to the sun. Her alabaster exterior, at times, tends to painfully burn against the sunlight's intense rays. Despite the occasional sun 'tan', Akuhei is exceptionally beautiful; oh, what a common misconception, if one were to look further than the silvery skin and beautiful appearance.
Akuhei is robed daily in the customary Shihakushô befitting for her size; with her own modifications and removal of excess fabric to help with flexibility, and speed. Placed comfortably and securely by her sides is her Zanpakuto, Ame-no-Kagaseo; the sheath intertwined between the red Hakama-Himo straps.
Personality
Look past the translucent complexion, and only then can one truly find the demeanor suitable for the devilish female. This irrational female will not hesitate to wound the weak, and possibly even kill those she meets. Her loyalty lingers solely with herself, considering her almost unique identity as a Vizard, but those worthy enough of deeming her trust must work hard and prove their existence; if not, Akuhei sees no reasonable excuse to keep the weak and lazy still standing. Though a smile spreads across her face 'once in a blue moon', this inevitably means that she'll either taunt or threat her 'enemy': bark or bite. This warm smile usually mutates to a sadistic, and insane grin, anyway. A common tool of deception, produced from her earlier days, as a ruthless, belligerent shinigami of the 11th division.
On an everyday basis, her stoic and calm personality can easily be ignited into a chaotic, and argumentative disposition. Though she may strike to people as the calm and collected type, she can violently rupture at anyone who aggravates her, probably leaving the person with a detached limb; her fiery disposition and blood-red hair is proof of that. Surprisingly, she is a person for games, and highly enjoys playing pranks, causing trouble, and wrecking havoc. That all too familiar smirk, such a symbol of illusion. Despite catching her on 'off' days, she can appear lazy, though if you are an ally, Akuhei would treat you with the utmost importance and respect.
Battle: Something she takes seriously, and yet not so much. Akuhei, at times, can trigger some sort of malicious mindset, just to show no mercy, and to make her opponent realize who is the predator, and who has become prey. A sadistic, boisterous laugh usually escapes her lips when the battle is fantastic, but if the battle has become a bore, she won't hesitate to end it right off the bat. She will, however, extend the battle if she's having fun with it.
This female is war-stricken, psychotic, cunning, irrational, often revealing a wide, sadistic grin whenever she becomes excited. Authority isn't valued as much to this feminine spirit, and she is quick to form grudges against others. Akuhei will form respect to those who whoop her in a fight, or comical game. Despite her superior appearance, her sense of direction seems to be lacking, as she can get quite lost, even if she has lived in the Seireitei (Now Japan) for quite some time. Lastly, although this brute will stop at nothing to end another, she finds play-time to be more important than work. With these negative, apathetic and satanic traits, one would assume she teeters slightly more to the hollow side of the spectrum.
History
Shunned Lineage
The summer of 909 a.d. in the town of Edo: the arrival date of an infant child into the unfamiliar Miyazaki clan. The first living descendant of the side branch in the clan came into the world, and hopefully expected to be the first son, who would later fulfill his destiny as the clan leader through surpassing the current leader. Much to the father's dismay, in turn with the bearing mother's regret, a female child entered the world. Complications arrived, no doubt.
That 'horrid' night, the mother hemorrhaged to death during the rigorous, excruciating childbirth, and left the disgraced burden to the disappointed father. Absolutely nothing was spared. Not the bearer, not the man's heart, love, and soul. Well, there was one exception; the demon that effortlessly destroyed the family the parents tried ever so hard to build. "Such evil, this.. this t-thing!" The man mused as the tears roamed down his cheeks and face, his face pained with sorrow and anger as the woman lay there, slowly dying.
Unexpectedly, the woman's frail, slender hand quivered violently as she gestured her husband over. He followed simultaneously like a drone, paused by the bloody bedside, and gently took his other half in his bulky arms. Again and again, her finger coiled up, as if motioning him to lean closer. The man complied, knelt beside her on level, and brought his face to her own; as his fingers, shaking in agony and fear, intertwined with the fragile woman's fingers. Her breathing began to waver, and while her head was juxtaposition of his, she faintly whispered her last wishes in his ear. "Please, whatever happens with me, take care of our child, our pride and joy. Bear no hatred for our daughter, but for my weakness. Treat her no differently than if I was here. I love... you..." The breaths, and heart beating halted entirely, and the man realized what had happened. Death had come on the same day of life. It was a trade of one life for the other. Ignoring the cries from the newborn covered in fluids, the man wept and mourned throughout the night for his beloved. What was the baby's name? Akuhei: a name of pure evil.
Heartless Upbringing
The evil toddler's childhood was, more or less, unforgettable and cruel. As much as he could stand, the torn apart father cared for the infant, but no affection was ever given. Akuhei learned to crawl, walk, talk, how to properly use the restroom, all in her early stage of life, but the one vital ingredient that wasn't included in the 'recipe' was appraisal and kindness. Though it wouldn't affect the neglected child at such a young age, Akuhei surely noticed as she began to grow.
Five, long, enduring years would pass, and the daughter began to notice the lack of affection. Her father looked down upon her with menacing eyes, and the clan entirely disregarded her as a whole. Whenever a difficult task surfaced, and the girl triumphantly overcame it, the father replied with pure disgust. "You can do better. Sloppy, keep trying. That's not the proper way to write. Can't you do anything decent?" Usually, when Akuhei hoped her father would be pleased with her chore work, or writing and reading abilities, he had only brought her further down, and shattered the heart she never possessed.
Akuhei never realized the suffering she 'unconsciously' brought her father, or the Miyazaki clan as a whole. The clan, short in population, only seemed to produce girl descendants. During the mother's pregnancy, many of the elderly members of the clan prayed for a son to one day rule, and they were welcomed with the burden of another female. The head of the clan, a malicious, well trained samurai, and the elder brother of Akuhei's father, wanted nothing more than to dispose of the child, while she was a harmless infant. Pained, and chained by the will of his deceased wife, Akuhei's father, Ieyasu, reluctantly disapproved, despite the sorrow Akuhei brought. The worst thing imaginable: Akuhei was nothing more than a stranger to her own father; his own kin, unwanted.
The Truth Revealed
Around her tenth birthday, Akuhei disregarded the lack of gifts, the lack of conversation between parent and child, and the lack of being whole. A new feeling emerged: anger, resent, malevolence. She despised the ignorance of the clan, and how they couldn't simply put the past aside. They were stubborn, and she was determined enough to make things right, even if it meant through philippic disputes. Though, such a method was drastic, and would most likely end in her punishment. How had she found out about the death of her mother? It all depended on one fateful night, one everlasting memory.
Her chores were completed for the day, and to her surprise, she stepped outside of the house, and caught a glimpse of her father, Ieyasu, praying at her mother's burial ground. By now, she was informed of her mother's passing, but the reason was inconclusive. Awkwardly and unsure, she approached her father, a gleaming sadness apparent in her amber, glassy eyes.
"Father? H-How did mother die?" She inquired hesitantly, ending her footwork when she stood next to her colossal father. Though, when her father turned to face her his eyes widened momentarily at the quiet child's stance. A determined face, a determined posture, a determined stride, but what was significant was her nature. Instead of her usual anti-social behavior, she had a rebellious and angered air hovering around her. It was probably noticeable from the tightly clenched fists, and her erect posture shaking slightly; an all too familiar sign which reminded him, for the first time, who Akuhei truly was: his, and his beloved's daughter. The personality reflected his brash and irrational samurai ways.
"I shall tell you, my child; come, and sit." They retreated to a nearby stone, and there he discussed the events that happened ten years ago. He discussed the pain, the sorrow, the loss to the very cause of the problem. The blame was realized by the little girl, and the dying wish of Ieyasu's wife was suddenly remembered. A wave of shock and regret swept through the father and kin; the father realizing what he did wrong throughout the past years, and the child beginning to understand just how everyone felt about her. Strangely, the two bonded that day, even through the means of weeping together and putting the mistakes of the past behind them. Such a beautiful birthday!
Forbidden Territory
That one fateful night was another five years into the past. Akuhei was now the age of fifteen, and truly mature for her age. Her utter shyness in the past dissolved as her bond with her father prospered from their talk, and she now had this cocky and obnoxious air about her. Too many of the villagers of Edo viewed her as improper and unladylike, and Akuhei was frowned upon; though, from past experience she grew indifferent on opinions. It infuriated her, as well as her father that they blamed her personality on the sole fact that there was no maternal guidance in the house.
Over those five crucial years, Akuhei's father learned to accept the fate of his loved wife, and he began to realize how similar he was to his daughter. She obtained his irrational thinking and rough demeanor, unfortunately, but the one thing that made him truly proud was her beauty. In comparison to her mother, Kimiko, they would look almost identical. He finally saw the family resemblance, and the truth behind Kimiko's words.
Akuhei completed her chores as usual, and caught a glimpse of her father outside, wielding a intricate katana. Although she was quite aware that their clan was based on the military and fighting, girls were usually forbidden to join such activities. It was intriguing, the sound of the blade slicing through the air like wind; the shimmer of the blade against the glistening sun, or the sparks that flew against other metal contact. Akuhei yearned for teaching, and today was the day to finally step up and 'demand' such knowledge despite the rule.
"Father, teach me the ways of the sword!" She boisterously shouted across the yard, a wide grin plastered over her determined face. He reluctantly agreed, in the end, but he was uncertain about the whole ordeal. Mission accomplished. It was the first step into a larger, more defined world.
Combat Ready
The year 929 a.d.; five more years flew by and Akuhei had grown fond of fighting, maybe a little bit too much. Her father challenged her skills with the blade through drastic and grueling obstacles, such as tests that require both the physical and mental states of mind and body. To his surprise she excelled in her training, some unique ability that she seemingly possessed on her own accord – her ambidexterity might have had something to do with it. What he didn't like was her cocky attitude, and belligerent demeanor that had developed over the years. She wanted harder, more crucial challenges; ones that more or less involved real people, and realistic outcomes. At times, she would head to the bar, and cause a huge ruckus, which usually ended up causing many dangerous bar fights. As much as her father wanted to stop her, she usually sneaked out of the house at night, when Ieyasu fell asleep.
The village wasn't too fond of the evil female wandering the streets. Akuhei, truly uncaring and impolite, simply told those who disapproved of her to "shut up, before I kick your ass." The people sneered and snickered harsh language to the young woman, and as much as Akuhei would deny it, she wasn't indifferent, no, she was argumentative and aggravated. An un-surfaced hatred grew in her heart, all devoted to the village of Edo. Ieyasu, however, was about to set his child in line before anything got too out of hand and before the head of the Miyazaki clan stepped in to end the disgrace of the family name.
Ieyasu set up a 'military lockdown' for the woman, or so to speak. "This has gotten way out of hand, Akuhei. Hell, I'm sick and tired of hearing complaints, and you're not only ruining my honor, but the honor of the Miyazaki clan. So stop this nonsense." He demanded, his foot tapping in unison with his apparent finger twitch.
Coolly she shrugged his request off, and simply nodded. She would stop, for the sake of her father's pride. Little did the two know of Ieyasu's older brother, and his newly adopted son.
Bitter Quarrel; Inevitable End
Eventually, the outcast branch of the Miyazaki family discovered the adoption of the new son, from the highly respected uncle who so desperately wanted rule over the clan. Apparently, this son's abilities in battle and combat were outstanding, thus brought the reason the uncle decided to take in the young twenty one year old adult. At the time of acceptance Akuhei was twenty, but one year had passed since then, and her opinion over the male never changed. He was, to say at the least, disturbed. Although Ieyasu wasn't capable of perceiving the problem, Akuhei noticed a shimmering plot in the male's eyes, as if he had some devious plan established for the two. Maybe the usual, deceiving smile gave it away.
Time progressed, and it was nearly a month after Akuhei's twenty-first birthday. Although she promised to stop her routine of fighting at the village bar, she usually took extra time to practice her weapon skills in the garden in the backyard. Today, however, felt eerie, felt strange. The head of the Miyazaki household was coming for dinner, and all just seemed too perfect. While training, Akuhei simply shrugged off her thoughts and muttered incoherent, vile curses, and resumed what was already taking place.
Later that day she prepared dinner for the household and to her surprise, nothing happened. Her father seemed unharmed, and both parties did not seem hostile. She kept her suspicion up as well as her guard, until the head of the household departed. What woke her up from her restless slumber was a large bang of the vase downstairs the crashed onto the floor and shattered...
Instinctively, Akuhei rushed out of bed with her two katana in each hand and headed to cause of such ruckus. She snarled in rage, as she came face to face with the intruder, the young male recently welcomed into the household, "You asshole! I'm gonna tear you to shreds!" Akuhei hollered, blade drawn and aimed at the man who oh so tried to attack her father, who threw the vase in defense.
The fight raged on, both seemingly equal in the battle against life or death. Akuhei, and the adopted son both took their tolls of wounds throughout the inevitable quarrel. What Akuhei lacked in strength and power, she excelled in stamina and speed, thus when the combat 'prodigy' slowed down, and lost stamina, Akuhei was sure to finish him off. Down the male went, and slain by the brash female. She suffered extensive wounds, and just when she was about to turn to her father to check up on him, the power-hungry uncle who had observed the battle from afar closed in on her father, stabbing him directly in the abdomen. A wince of pain dominated his frightened face, as blood slowly spewed from his maw and impaled stomach. Timber and the only thing that stood between Akuhei and hate was now lifeless, limp. Fate decided she would die that night, but not before she gutted her uncle for the misdeed he committed on her family. What was his justified reason? To abolish any threats to his impending "son's" throne, and to exterminate anyone who brought dishonor toward the family name. That night had only become a blood bath, a lifeless, haunted house for several centuries to come.
Soul
It was a strange feeling; seemingly floating in the air above the now lifeless body that held her personally to the human realm, the living realm to be exact. She felt detached for the record, and utterly confused. Though, scanning the calm and serene scenery of the forest not too far from the house she resided within during her human life, she realized the following: All three men killed during that unforgettable night sat idly, quite unsure about whatever just occurred. The chains of fate entangled them to the morbid household, and to Akuhei's surprise, if she had not limped to the forest surrounding her home, she would have sat idly with them too. A certain air of anger fueled her, though just thinking of the three together; the two who killed for the sake of power, and the one who was to be killed. The first true feeling of hate, despise, and despair rose from the very depths of her soul, and would continue until she was approached by some strange being. The being was later discovered to be a Shinigami, and this soul reaper brought her into a whole new realm through the usage of Konso.
Whole New World
"Hn... where the fuck am I?! What the hell happened?!" Akuhei muttered to herself, glancing up from the ground where she apparently laid at several aligned houses, surrounded by more housing, which stretched along for a while. She glanced at her features only to appear a mere human again. Hell, what was her name, anyway? For seconds she stared at the ground idly, prodding her head violently to recall her name.
Miyazaki Akuhei. Yeah, that was it.
She sprouted up from the ground and stood erect, glaring at her surroundings. She was hostile as always.
Her eyes shifted to and fro as they darted back and forth at the numbers. On the corner of the district, there was the number "69". Though she stood there coolly under the womanly complexion, she was entirely pissed and about to punch someone.
Things weren't safe in that district, not at all. Fights were around every corner; some more like sissy fights, others like true bloodbaths. She had hoped someone would at least have told her what kind of place was this, or what the hell was she doing here, but as the man approached her, he had an entirely different option in mind.
"So hey, pretty lady, how about I show you around town?" He snickered, making vulgar gestures with his hips. Akuhei simply rolled her eyes, until she noticed the katana lying smugly around his waist. With a quick, deceiving nod, she took the man into the alleyway, her eyes fixated on the weapon...
It wasn't before long she came out robed in the man's clothes, katana in hand, and fists clenched after giving the man a crucial, relentless beating. "You are, by far, the biggest fuckin' idiot I have ever seen. People like you should die." Akuhei cackled and stared wildly at him, utterly amused that she jacked his items, and beat him effortlessly.
Over time, she eventually figured out what this place was. Rukongai; a place where souls rest in 'peace'. Well, most of them; the rest, living cautiously in the higher districts, were deprived of safety, and harmony. Akuhei landed smack dab in the middle of the 'rough and rowdy' districts and she remained there for over one human year: in all actuality ten years for souls.
Like the other belligerent bunch in that area, she fought immensely with the katana she once stole, eventually gaining another sword for good measure. People literally feared the cackling female, and soon she moved into the lower districts to search for new 'competition'. Little did she know what she was about to face: a low seated shinigami, looking for new recruits.
Fate had chosen her to be the victor, and all the while, fate was what would bring her deeper into destiny. The shinigami's partner, a woman from the same division, kind and calm came to the conclusion that the destructive female should apply to the shinigami academy, but of course Akuhei had to take an entrance exam.
Akuhei heard about the Shinigami through small chit chat that circled around the Rukongai districts. She bluntly told the woman that she'd take the test now, and to her surprise, she passed, but only by slim chance. Inevitably enrolled in the academy, she awaited the challenges ahead with a cocky smirk.
Shinigami Academy
Akuhei truly proved her worth when it came to the physical combat parts of each exam for those six long years. She excelled in Kenjutsu, and hand to hand combat; mainly Aikido. When it came to kido, however, she lacked greatly in that department. Though she had a sufficient enough amount of reiatsu to learn kido, she simply thought it was a waste of time, considering that beating up a person solely by hands was more 'enjoyable' than beating them up with magic. Each year she advanced to the next level, and each class became more difficult, though, the female wasn't the type to give up so easily. She ended up being highly proficient in martial arts, and actual combat than the destructive and binding magic. Her overall physical and mental stability enhanced while she stayed in the academy. Her personality had only further developed in the academy as well: as cruel and sadistic as ever, she picked on the weak students.
After graduation, she only took one good glance before concluding her decision. Her application would be sent to the 11th division; the division primarily concerned on physical combat.
Introduction into the 11th Division
Looking rather young, she arrived timely at the 11th division building and waited for the Taichō among other applicants, who were mostly male. Many of the men stared at her, probably surprised that a woman was actually going for the combat division, or probably over the fact that women were viewed as the caretakers in society. That wasn't the case with this female, and she simply shrugged off the stares, deceiving them all with this cool disposition, while confidently hiding her true demeanor. When the captain had stepped in late, she seemingly glared at the man.
"Well, welcome to the eleventh division; though, I shouldn't just say this yet, as most of you will probably leave after the 'simple' test I have in store for you." He said, without even glancing at the applicants. There was a calm and arrogant air around him; as if he simply was more focused on his blade then his 'future comrades'. Akuhei rolled her eyes, but continued to intensely stare at the man.
"The challenge is, you ask?" He inquired to the gathered shinigami, pausing for a brief moment to clear his throat. "You must spar against each other, till the last male or female stands."
Secretly, Akuhei grinned; for she knew full well that these 'boys' were about to get their asses kicked by a female. Evidently, she assumed that they'd judge her for being weak, and would probably go for her last. Probably the first, and last mistake they made.
An hour or so progressed, and the two left 'standing' were the belligerent female, and some arrogant male. Strangely, the male reminded her of the captain watching each and every effort they made to conquer the other. In the end, the male descended toward the ground, and the female became the victor.
Anger fueled her cause, resentment gave her strength, and deceit gave her power. This was her welcoming test into the 'mysteriously brutal' division.
Sealed
Due to her recent triumph over her acceptance test, the annoying Captain placed her in the 13th seat. It was a decent start but there was a huge dissatisfaction with being so low amongst the division chain. Her yearning for power like how she acted as a human fueled her to achieve a better status in this newly discovered life.
Ten years had passed, and Akuhei was promoted to the 7th seat. Her skills with a weapon went unmatched, but there was one thing lacking that left her stumped at that mere spot: each shinigami above her obtained their own sealed zanpakuto, making it difficult to surpass them because regular katana were no match for them. Regular katana were weak against the spiritual power of one's zanpakutō.
This large obstacle blocked her from reaching a higher authority. It was a must have, and extensive training over the past 10 human-life years, she had worked her ass off to accomplish that. One fateful day when training, Akuhei concentrated her hardest into tapping into her own spiritual realm to beat whomever resided within her world in submission if she had to. Luckily, meditation unbefitting for her belligerent self allowed her to enter that arena.
A orange, bright light blinded her vision momentarily until her eyes could adjust. She rubbed her eyes with her hands, which were balled up into fists; only to soon take in the contents of her spiritual realm for the first, but certainly not the last time. It was a desert; barren, and yet off to the side there was a pit. Curious, Akuhei approached the natural crater and discovered the grim fact: in the crater, bodies lay, some decayed, others decaying, and others drenched in blood. Her amber eyes glared at the sight whilst her sangria-hued hair blew with the sudden gust of wind.
When her curiosity was filled, she turned to walk back to a nearby rock, only to notice a human in the distance, at that exact rock. Hostile as ever, Akuhei approached to find a young male (Hot too) sitting there with a wicked grin against his lips, intensely staring at his counterpart. He sported a sleeveless jacket, red dragon tattoos against his muscular arms, golden hair and red eyes. "Ah, here you are. I was hoping you'd come soon, otherwise I would have dubbed you as a fuckin' weak, pointless bitch." He rudely stated, cracking up at his own unnecessary joke.
This didn't stand well with Akuhei; more importantly, this sparked the beginning of their relationship. "Why don't you give me what the hell I want?!" She yelled, and she should have expected his lewd response, which involved a wicked grin, and a slight seductive tone in his voice. "Oh, I'll give you a good time, I assure you~" He chimed, leaning back against the flat, large rock. "… but now is not the time. Yeah, guess I'll give you the shit you need, but next time it won't be as boring… I want to fuck with you… you do look so good to eat, after all. Or perhaps even good enough to kill." He playfully licked his lips, before tongue glided against the sharp, pointed edge of his blades, attached at his forearms. She could only roll her eyes for now; Akuhei felt defenseless without him… and not in a companionship type of way. Fuck that!
"But before you leave... you must search the sands for myself, obviously in friggin' sealed form. Good luck~" He laughed, only to disappear.
Akuhei huffed, and immediately walked off in search of Kagaseo, unsure of where the 'object' would be in all this damned sand.
It took an hour of her wandering around to realize she had not checked the pit off to the side, and Kagaseo most likely had to be there. As she approached the edge of the crater, Akuhei blinked: below, most of the bodies each had two swords stabbed into their hides. There were different swords of size, shape and color, but since two were each protruding from one body, Akuhei eventually became aware that Kagaseo was not one, but two swords.
Reluctance struck her judgement, and time passed as she wandered the pit and analyzed each pair of swords; not only looking, but generally gaining a sense, or feel, if you will, about if this was really Kagaseo; and not just him, but her as well.
Then, she came to a pair she had not seen before: it was yellow and black, and looking closely there was a design not seen before with the other blades. In fact, the others lacked a design, and felt lackluster, dull. Also, it was as if her soul yearned to take in these two swords. Mustering up courage, she pulled the swords from the 'stone', only to gaze around afterward as the remainder of weapons vanished. Then, among the corpses, there were two: Kagaseo and Akuhei.
Victory, so it seemed.
"Cool. I'm afraid I'm already finished with you, as of now though. Come back when you're stronger. I'd like to see you put up a fight piece of shit." As such, Akuhei had no time for an input, instantly removed from her realm and brought back into reality. Things were about to get better from there on out… or were they?
Shikai
The next day following her ascension and gain of her sealed zanpakuto, Akuhei strode with a sense of pride into the division and challenged the higher-up above her, the 6th seat. Many of the other members were utterly confused as to why she had her own sealed blade, considering that most trained with the Captain or Lieutenant to gain it; but no, Akuhei wanted to force herself to obtain all the power, without no one's help besides herself and Ame-no-Kagaseo. 6 long human years would pass, and she finally reached a decent seat, the 4th. Throughout the duration of that time, the female was practicing extensively with Kagaseo and all the while taking over seats to reach a higher power. Unfortunately, she could go no further because the 3rd and Fukutaichō both possessed the secondary ability of one's zanpakuto: Shikai. On the mark of those 60 Soul Society years, Akuhei challenged the 3rd without Shikai; which proved to be devastating. The third seat, unlike others in her division, was surprisingly like Akuhei that he had no conscience of killing others, but in defense of his position. So, it was a battle of life or death, and Akuhei was slowly losing... until Kagaseo came from afar.
"Are you really fuckin' losing? If only I had a better Shinigami-partner." He howled in laughter. Over previous time, she increased in potential, able to successfully wield Kagaseo and his dual weaponry. She didn't know his name at the time, but was hoping she would figure it out during this crucial, and albeit motivational challenge. So Kagaseo had heard her 'plea'. For now, he gave her what she wanted, though held a huge grudge because of her 'weakness'. "My name is Ame-no-Kagaseo. My release… my ejection, haha, is Suraisu, Ame-no-Kagaseo!" He grinned and took a breath, before disappearing from the scene.
With Shikai in tow she released and the true battle began...
Time progressed and Akuhei came out as the dominant victor. Previous training had proven essential in this confrontation. Both had their wounds, but Akuhei made the last move. Tiredness fueled the victory, both parties panting, sweating and sore. "I beat you fair and square." Akuhei stated as her blade swung to deliver the final blow; which rendered the opponent unconscious.
Akuhei afterward cackled in laughter as she conquered the third seat, her motive then to take over the second.
Fukutaicho
40 years had passed; Akuhei was 2nd on top in the 11th division. Finally she was somewhere as Fukutaichō! Even though she was ranked highly, she despised the man she was working for. He was a noble and extremely arrogant, though in the sense that he was social superior to everyone else beneath him. That infuriated her, not to mention he was a man-whore. Oh, she would have surpassed him. She would have.
Often times the two trained together, which only fueled her drive to that status and rank. She felt like she was close, except that she lacked Bankai. Even during the thrill of each battle she faced, she could 'feel' Kagaseo's own anger to reach that ability through the screeching of the two blades as they crashed against the opposing one. The two had grown close, and had arguments from time to time, but Kagaseo and Akuhei usually worked hand in hand for the same resolve. Things were going well and she remained as the standing Fukutaichō for another human year, basically up until a group of hollows invaded the human realm and they called upon a group of Shinigami; among the group was the Taichō and Fukutaichō of the eleventh division.
Bring In The Parasitic Leech
Once prepared the group – which consisted of one Taichō (Akuhei's leader), two Fukutaichō (Akuhei; and some moron from another division) and three 3rd seats – utilized the Senkai Gate to enter the human realm. That group of six Shinigami faced the 10 hollows and unbeknownst to them, were in all actuality adjuchas. Some way or another, Akuhei paired up with one of the third seats, and together they tackled 2 hollow; while her Taicho, accompanied by a third seat tackled 5, and the other pair tackled another 2.
Sadly, the distance between the each Shinigami group was far since the adjuchas were intelligent and concocted a plan beforehand to tackle more ground in smaller pairs, feasting on the souls of those spiritually aware. So, while the other two groups were focused on battle, Akuhei was focused on battle with one of the adjuchas, while the third seat she paired up with was in his own fight. If things got worse, the third seat could not even handle his own hollow, so Akuhei had to step in one she defeated the adjuchas attacking her. By that point, she was slightly exhausted since the fighting stretched on for a while. She told her Shinigami-partner to go help out the others while she would slowly catch her breath. She thought she was alone… but there was a faint feeling… a presence. It was a presence that would soon prey on her.
Out from the shadows of one of the alleyways, the lastly undiscovered hollow of the 10 surfaced from the darkness, lunged at Akuhei while she was in a weakened state and when her back was turned. Akuhei fought all she could, startled and surprised, but things turned extremely creepy. The adjuchas who giggled with glee, latched onto Akuhei's back; like it was born to do so, the leech seemingly dug into Akuhei's back flesh, however, it was as if the hollow was a full-fledged ghost. Instead of literally tearing through skin, muscle and small adipose tissue, the sinister creature used its own freak ability to merge, or pass through Akuhei; without ceasing to traverse any further, the hollow remained inside her, and panic-stricken probably for the first time, the Fukutaichō of the eleventh division started to run: away from the huge village, and more importantly, away from the nearest shinigami, who still fought relentlessly with the remainder of hollow.
This running didn't last. She felt her body changing, shifting, and morphing into something else… something deadly. If that didn't make matters worse, the female started to lose consciousness, off and on fading back to reality. Something was terribly wrong, as she could even hear a howling of agony from Kagaseo; the blade screeching as she collided with the nearest stone. It was then, the hollow literally inside her took control as Akuhei smacked her head into the pavement.
Her being involuntarily took the form of a hollow in the human realm, where the recent knock out put Akuhei into her spiritual world, which looked entirely different. A cold front ensued, and the desert became a tundra; strangely, Kagaseo was nowhere in sight. She called his name, reluctance in her voice, when her amber eyes caught sight of a different being… a female, who was the same size, same height, and same build as Akuhei; except she lacked any coloration. The humanoid had a white complexion, added with white clothes and white hair… yet her eyes were a gleaming yellow. "Who the fuck are you… and what are you doing here?" The host asked, with her usual hostility.
"Isn't it obvious why I'm here? I'm the hollow, the parasite, and I've come to take over you. I'll eat you from the inside out, and claim your power as my prize. You have awe-inspiring potential; I can see it. If only I caught you at a more powerful time, then I could have sucked even more power from your soul." The female hissed, only to cackle after. "Sadly, there's no way for me to naturally leave… so you either win against me, for now… or I win, and your soul is mine, to do whatever bidding I want necessary. Either way, I'll be here forever."
Akuhei growled and irrationally lunged forward to attack the enemy, happy to still have her zanpakutō right against her sides; well, they would have been had she not withdrawn them from their sheaths, and began a battle that seemed to last for a long time. This hollow was unlike the others.
An extensive battle, and grueling wounds and injuries later, Akuhei rose as victor, beating the hollow only briefly into submission. Her exceptional swordsmanship and combat high proved superiority against the faulty hands of the hollow, and as such, the hollow explained. "Ah, seems my predictions were true. Usually I conquer fools like you… stupid shinigami, but alas, I have actually lost… for now. Let's just hope things don't get overcrowded with the two of us." She grinned and giggled sinisterly, only to be interrupted by Kagaseo, now appearing in the flesh. "Three of us, fuckin' bitch!"
That sparked an argument between the two, and it took Akuhei to step in to cease the quarrel. She was ultimately confused, pissed, but more so lost. Why her? Why couldn't the hollow leave? What the fuck did this mean? A Hollow and Shinigami working together? Was that even possible?!
It was a question even Ikazayim Iehuka, her inner hollow, as it turned out to be called, did not know the answer to. It was a partnership Akuhei would have to grow accustomed to… and better yet, stronger to uphold. One thing was certain… she could never return to Soul Society, never again.
As she awoke, which only lasted minutes; she noticed a red, demonic mask first attached to her shoulder, only to disintegrate after a length of time. Her Taichō wouldn't even bother to search for her; aware of her motivation to challenge him and utterly demote him from his status, the asshole left her and pronounced her as killed in action. She became nothing more than forgotten.
Present Day
She would remain a wanderer, luckily slipping to and fro from detection as best as she could for the recent 191 years up until this very day. If it wasn't for Rikou, a Shinigami-turned-Vizard who fled the Gotei's strict penalty of death, Akuhei surely would have been killed; sure, it was painful to admit, and the independent female would never reveal that secret, despite its validity and truth. He had watched the battle and her transformation progress, soon after helping her recover from the inner confrontation. It was there she awoke for the first time as a Vizard in the medical bay surrounded by a maze of tunnels as what Rikou considered "home."
The humble abode was not her style, however, because she often got lost; a primary indication of Akuhei lacking some sense of direction. She did comply to live amongst the group in the beginning; in which she was given a modified Gigai to help resist detection from Soul Society, but after countless times of hitting dead ends, she surfaced from the tunnels and wandered around the countryside for all those years, never to fully return to the twisty caverns and more importantly her 'friends'.
She has since then learned the ability to use her hollow mask. Although still filled with questions, Akuhei is rather reluctant to approach the one who created it all: Rikou and his group, whom she ran out on so long ago.
Unfortunately, she had encountered Rikou, and another Vizard in the tunnels on one fateful, drunken night. Besides that, she was summoned for the tournament, where she currently intends to prove her worth; which, sadly, she hasn't really trained much. Instead, she preferred to gamble, prank, and drink.
Fun times, fun times!
