Profile Information
Numerical Designation: PSRM-Kyuu 0#
Name: Ahri
Gender: Female
Age: 1 Month
Faction: Mod-souls
Rank: Experimental Tracking model
Reiatsu Color: 4BBBFA Light Blue
Reiatsu Aura: Absolute calmness
Appearance:
Her general appearance is that of a young lady, in humans years, her age would be guessed to be between 20 and 24. One of her more obvious features is the presence of nine large and fully functional tails, as well as the rather unusual pair of ears upon her head. The ears give her excellent hearing, and it is said that she heard a feather detach from a bird whilst still in the underground laboratory of what was once the 12th division. Her completely yellow eyes are also a source for great intrigue, and they were made that way to give her almost perfect night vision. Her Iris's aren't normal either, as they are slitted as a cats. She is 5.7 Feet tall.
Personality: Having been loaded with experimental and potentially unstable technology, Ahri was put through several loyalty courses. Her soul has also been tampered with to assure absolute loyalty to those ranked higher than herself. To most, she will come across as cold, and unfeeling. A machine doing what a machine is supposed to do. However, she does have a softer side, which will sometimes shine through her hardened exterior. This is a part of her however, that can rarely be seen, and she will only show this side to those she has absolute trust in, and calls friends. Otherwise, it's all another days work for her, as it was what she was created for, and she is grateful for this life.
History:
A grand experiment. A scientist had been working on how to create a self contained portal system that was stealthy enough for the special ops division to use. Whilst the scientist couldn't promise much, he was still granted ample funding. The higher ups had deemed it a necessity especially in these troubled times, where making sure that peace prevailed was at the top of the priority list, no matter the cost. After a enormously long period of time, The scientist had a major breakthrough. He had found a way to make the so called holding rooms of the senkaimon to form around the person using it, instead of it being a static space in which contaminants could gather, only to spill out on the other side of the gate, creating a disturbance. The other advantage with this technique, was that the reduced size of the holding room, required a lot less energy for the portal to be sustained, allowing for individuals to use this technique, unassisted by the large senkaimon gates that dotted Seireitei.
Alas, whilst researching this prospect, he received orders to scrap it that line of research. Granting the ability to open trans-world portals to a mod-soul was a risk that they were unwilling to take. It was all fine and dandy however, as this eliminated the need of being able to traverse realms, which to begin with would most likely have drained the person using it completely. The scientist, in a stroke of genius, found a way to create a direct portal connecting two points in space and time to a single door, instead of the usual two that was used in the standard senkaimon.
Because of how the distance between the entrance and exit was now zero, the person would be able to use a modified Kyokkō to hide the presence of him/herself, and whomever else followed into the portal, as well as using this technique to hide the portal itself.
There was, however, a problem. The extreme complexity of this operation would require a large amount of information to be stored in a small unit which could execute it all at once. No shinigami alive was capable saying such a long chant coherently, nor was their reiatsu output stable enough for it to function without possible deviations, which would result in instantaneous death for the user. A solution however, would appear before the scientist: Project spearhead. Being able to create a soul tailored to preform it, the scientist was able to pour all his research into a single modified soul. The effort was enormously expensive, considering that many other changes were made to the mod soul in order to make it useful in operation. This model became known as the Project Spearhead Recon Model-Kyuu (9). Because of the enormous amount of money poured into it. The prototype was the only one of it's kind ever constructed, pending actual field results.
In addition to the highly secretive and experimental gate technology, stealth and a modified version of the shunpo was planned to be installed at a later date, to improve the chances of success, and ensure the survival of the precious mod soul. Far into the future, plans were even devised for her to be able to manipulate her own reiatsu into controlled, burning foxes, that could be used as scouts and suicide attackers.
Fortunately for Ahri, it was discovered that there was a fundamental error within the code of portal technique before the trials began. Pending the resolution of the bug, the schedule to equip Ahri with a modified shunpo was hastened and instead of the portal technique, she was finished with the shunpo technique. The nature of the error was a wrong calculations, so it wouldn't require Ahri to be scraped, and a new one created. As such, Ahri avoided the scrapyard, and awoke in order to test the new shunpo feature, pending the finalization of the portal technique. This also caused a slight redesign, as she was converted from a pure test model, to a tracking model. This was done at the request of the higher ups, to ease their thoughts about the entire venture being a colossal waste of money, as well as make sure that she stayed loyal to them. Although an expensive worker, she was a mod soul, and therefore she worked for free, meaning that some lucky person would soon get a highly efficient tracker, and experimental unit under their command. For better, or for worse.
To further ensure that the large investment was kept as safe as possible, they tampered with the personality of the soul itself, ensuring a loyalty complex, that would force whomever the soul would turn out to be, to remain loyal to his or her superiors under all circumstances. A rogue personality was the last thing the higher ups wanted, and once the mod soul was completed, she, as it turned out, was subjected to loyalty programs akin to brainwashing, and harsh stealth tactics training. After a month of training, building on what was already forcefully injected into her soul during her creation, she was ready to take on her first assignment. The result of which, would greatly interest the top brass of the research department.
