Of average height, this 5'5" female is a curvy creature, with alabaster skin with creamy undertones. Her hair is long, unique with its waves and heather color. Her eyes are a deep lavender, bringing out similar tones in her soft locks. Soft lips, smooth skin, and a pretty young face, she is in the prime of her youth. Her dress varies, but she is commonly seen ornate guards, something that belonged to her father.
Personality:
For the most part, Sayomi is fun loving and flippant. She refuses to be tied down into one place. Perhaps its a fear of commitment of any kind, but she simply believes to live in the moment. She can be a little harsh at times, but the liquor loving female is almost always wearing a coy little smile.
History:
Born into a well-to-do, upper middle class family, Sayomi had never known the feeling of want. Being an only child only furthered her parents desire to pamper and coddle the girl. She was Mommy's Girl and Daddy's Little Angel. Both spent extensive amounts of time passing on things to their daughter. Her mother taught her cooking and the arts, while her father taught her swordplay and hand to hand combat. It was in all actuality, a typical, loving home. She was loved, happy and treasured. It was only when her parents died during a house fire, did she find the world to be a harsh, lonely place. Taken in by a distant relative that ran an okiya, Sayomi was trained to be a geisha, to work for a living as a piece of property.
It took the little princess some time to grow accustomed to labor, especially pleasing others. It was during this time of trial and utter loneliness that a strange occurrence came to pass. She was sweeping the yard behind the house, when she heard faint crying. Worried it would be another one of the girls in the okiya, Sayomi went to investigate. Coming closer to the sound, she discovered a girl hiding behind the shed, sitting on the ground and sobbing. Kneeling, Sayomi tried to console her, but the girl continued to wail and sob, saying the owner had beat her for breaking a pot. This wasn't a rare occasion, the owner was very heartless and would beat them for many things. While Sayomi was trying to calm the girl down, the owner had came out into the yard. Finding Sayomi kneeling and talking behind the shed, her relative began to shriek at the girl for being lazy. Sayomi tried to explain that she was comforting this girl, but the owner did not believe her. After all, the owner could not see the crying girl. It was sometime after then that Sayomi realized she could see spirits of the departed. Unbeknownst to Sayomi, this was a trait passed down from her deceased mother. It was her time in the okiya that finally awakened her latent talent.
After she reached 18, she disappeared into the night, throwing away a future of servitude to her relative. If she was going to work for anyone, it'd be herself.
Living in the okiya taught her a great lesson though, the basis of exchange: One thing for another.
From then on out, Sayomi only looked out for herself. Odd jobs were always to be found, men (or women) to be tricked, and money to be made. Life, to her, was meant to be pleasant and fun, and that is how she intended to live it.
However, a strange man emerged in her life for a time. A wild creature by the name of Yori. He invoked such power feelings of attachment and want in her that she could barely control herself. She often found herself splitting from her usual self, doing what she could to please him. Alas, it was to no avail, and the man remained elusive, until finally disappearing from her life all together. Though she puts on a strong front, perhaps the over indulging and urge to return to how she once was is a strong clue as to how she really felt. Lost and alone.
