Profile Information
Name: Nagashin Harue
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Faction: Human
Rank: PSI user
Reiatsu Color: "Lightning White"
Reiatsu Aura: Feeling of being understood to the smallest detail, as if Harue knew exactly what makes you tick.
Appearance:
Personality: Always an optimist, spirit never broken as his surname, Nagashin = Eternal Heart, hints, however a bit of a mystery too, at times the goofball one might expect a teen to be, at times a cold, brutal intellectual one just like a sage of some kind. To put it in a nutshell, its as if both a young boy and an old, weathered male both were inhabiting Harues body, with a randomly timed switch controlling which one is at the surface. The reason is quite simple, his power requiring the other kind of mindset to control.

History:
Nagashin Ichizoku, one of the most peculiar family lines of japan. While they are so few in number it is a wonder they haven't faded into history, they more than make up for it with their spirit, each one a giant in their own right as if they were royality instead of the commoners they are. Harue is by no means an exception in this sense, despite being somewhat the quieter type having the guts for a stareoff with even a hollow. Also not any different from the clans norm is his ability, the minds power, PSI.
Unlike the nature of their ability might hint, the Nagashin are not of exceptional intellect, but instead of insane determination; if one of them decides on something, they will nigh without exception see it done to the end. The very same determination was also the main contributing factor to the abilitys birth back in the day; sufficiently long-term exposure to reiatsu eventually strenghtened this mindset to the point the ability to make things happen without physical interference was given birth to. However, it was first discovered on accident, a drunken one at that. You see, the Nagashin, before they achieved their current reputation, were legendary only for their love of alcohol, this fancy of such proportions that it often proceeded other people. Needless to say, it was to blame for the decline in their numbers. Money was lost, relationships broken, new ones never made. With none born, their count gradually dwindled, until it was down to one; Nagashin Kyõya. Like so many before, he too ended up a drunk, drinking what he was doing too when discovering his abilities. Reaching for the sake bottle he was when it happened, unable to grasp it due to his drunken state messing up his depth perception.
Annoyance bubbled up from his blurry mind, making it seem to him as if fate itself was denying him his only pleasure in life, alcohol the only thing he had left after his mother slayed his father in self-defense from his drunken rage, and his mother later hung falsely guilty for murder. A spark. Curse the gods he did, all the spirits too, every single supernatural being he could think of. A bundle of sparks. Snapped he did, swearing that if he wouldn't get a hold of the bottle he would rather die. Then it happened, a rush that wrapped on around it and propelled it like a rocket to his hand; his first ever release and use of PSI. Any normal person would have blinked their eyes from their head, but Kyõya was simply too drunk to care, continuing downing liquor till out of money at hand to keep at it, after that heading to his shack of a home to nap.
What had transpired didn't occur to him until much later, after the worst hangover had started lifting. He had been drunk many a time before, and he knew the symptoms well enough to know no such thing as sparks could come out of the kind he drank. The bottle had moved on its own, hadn't it? It was something he had done he was guessing, but what, and just how exactly had he done it? Ponder and ponder on it he did, but he simple couldn't figure it out, frustration growing eventually such that his thoughts flew to alcohol without he himself even noticing it; his one and only escape. Though empty, the bottle from the table some two meters away came spinning to his hand, only to be dropped from shock. That was it; strong desire to make things happen.
Over the course of the next few days he explored this new ability of his, for once forgetting all about booze for a change but still ending up in a bar. He did feel comfortable there afterall, even if he was too busy thinking of other things to focus on drinking, wounding up just sitting by the counter and playing with a coin. Customers who don't pay aren't appreciated afterall. In Kyõyas case however, the owner of the place had seen what had happened, snapping him out of his daze by questioning about the incident before. Kyõya though wasn't the social type really, not to mention being half out of it too at the time, obviously denying any such thing from ever happening. He couldn't however refuse a job offer in return for telling though, thus he showed the little he could do, the day after began his work, and a few days further after began developing his ability and exploring further into its true nature and potential with a co-worker. A female one at that, feeling drawn to him by an air of similarity, both of them having had their dealings with the spiritual world; she wasn't quite as far along as he was, seeing only blurry shapes so far, but she still clearly had more spiritual power than the average person that sees nothing.
They explored the world of spiritual things together, learning from eachother, experimenting, testing via trial and error, discovering new things as they grew closer to each other, the work, new company and delving into things spiritual even quelling his formerly never-ending thirst for alcohol. Even if he dealt alot with it, seeing as he did work at a bar afterall, not that he was left with no time to drink really but he also simply forgot about it. When asked after some months by her about it he replied, after taking a while to even remember he had once been quite the drunk, that he saw no sense anymore in drowning ones self in booze, having much more important aswell as interesting things to focus on. The interests proving to be mutual in all the aspects, after a few years the population of the Nagashin clan had gone from 1 to 4, turning to a steady rise from there untill halting somewhere between 15 and 20, which is where it remains the present day too.
What Kyõya and his spouse started, after his prolonged presence had caused the manifestation of unique powers of her own for her, those that came after them continued, leading over time in developing arts such as telekinesy which was first discovered, a bit later pyrokinesy through it, causing friction to create heat and then from it and matter fire by striking the necessary spark to light it up. Other physical, potentially offensive means were developed too as time went by, the drastic increase of them eventually causing a weakness for mental attacks due to the focus on the physical. Thus telepathy and other such means of striking at the mind were developed aswell. The culmination of the research in turn were means of applying raw PSI directly to things, in ways such as spraying it out in its purest state reminiscent of lightning, and perhaps the present days trademark technique of the Nagashin, "jumping". It was originally developed to spare time needed for traveling, later becoming more of a mean of keeping contact over long ways. While it was rather straining an ability to use, it allowed crossing great distances very quickly, ideal after the clan had spread itself wide but thin across japan. With the means to cover a lot of ground with speed, one could have thought it pretty much natural that the job preferage due to proficiency in it became transportation, couriering and other such things. After properly learning the tricks of the trade, it later became a tradition to give children a normal childhood and after hitting teenage years sending them out to learn the job themselves. It was fairly safe since they could afterall simply jump to safety if trouble presented itself.
Harue and his family are among those people, being in fact a gifted bunch in the job, except for Harue who has yet to begin himself. This is due to his age, his home-schooling having only recently ended after it began since the day of his birth. While some may think it cruel, Harue himself benefited from it a great deal actually, especially since his powers were already present when he drew his first breath, even if its order of things were bit different than usually. Seeing as his powers had come along so early he was taught first how to control them to an acceptable degree, and THEN what it was all about. Less time needed for getting down the crucial things since they were taken care of so early, he had plenty time to enjoy the usual things every child did.
So that brings us to today, where Harue adventures around Japan mainly on his own, stopping by at his home every now and then for reporting progress and such, otherwise seeking tutelage here, tips and points there, any little transportation requiring jobs anywhere he can find them, as long as he can take care of them of course.
