[Summary]Hollow are a twisted abomination created as an accidental side effect of the virus if the infected did not die. The initial transformation left them as hideous beasts with no memory of their past, though over time some of the more advanced evolved into a humanoid form. The advanced ones labeled themselves as Arrancar and the lesser Hollow they proclaimed to be Adjuchas. Hollow are extremely predatory. They are carnivorous and must feed on meat as their bodies cannot properly digest other materials.[footnote:1]The reason for the Hollow's meat only digestion stems from the nature of the virus they had been infected with. The digestion system of a Hollow is based of the necrotic property which does not effect anything other than various flesh.[/footnote] If they cannot find meals in the form of animals or among themselves, as they do have cannibalistic tendencies, the Hollow will hunt in the Rukongai in search of a Rukon Citizen, their livestock, or a Shinigami to eat.
In form, Adjuchas resemble the forms found in nature rather than humanoid figures. Animals are the most common mimicries of shape, but bugs, insects, and even plants are not uncommon. Because the nature of the virus that was released on the people was necrotic as the Awareness wanted to tear away their bodily flesh from them and return them to spirits, Adjuchas have two outstanding features. The first is a white bone mask formed over new flesh because the original Hollow's faces had been eaten away. The second is a single large hole located somewhere on their body. These holes formed during the infection and different areas on different People were more susceptible. These features are now genetic in the Hollow who were born after the virus infections.
The Adjuchas state is almost like a pupae state for when they have matured enough, they will cast off their old bodies and take on new forms as Arrancar. All Arrancar are humanoid in form outside their release. All that remains of their previous form are fragments from their masks and their Hollow hole.
The wastelands, where the Hollow reside, were once a part of the scattered villages that made up all of the first People's domain along with the Rukongai and Seireitei. When the People were first corrupted by the virus and turned into Hollow, they were driven away from the center of Soul Society where Seireitei now is, and out into what is now the wasteland. The land there is dry and cracked, practically barren except for the rubble of the People's villages and formerly hardy plants which have become tough and twisted from the corruption of the land which stems from the toxic reishi pits turned swamps.[footnote:2]These reishi pits were what was used to spread the virus initially and overtime have turned into more swamp like areas. Though each faction is immune to its airborne killing effects, being near them can make one sick as can minor ingestion; more than that can kill without medical treatment.[/footnote] Caves, cliffs, crevices, and dugouts outs are extremely common in the wastelands though things like untainted water sources and animal prey are not, causing the Hollow to often venture into the outskirts of the Rukongai and occasionally deeper in. Much of the wasteland takes on a rust colored hue from natural deposits of clay scattered throughout it, though it is more commonly said that it is from the land bleeding or that the blood of so many have been shed there that it stained the very earth itself.
Faction Skill; Regeneration - With survival of the fittest ruling over much of the Hollow's lives, they have learned to harness environmental spiritual energy, also known as reishi, to heal a few minor wounds over a short span of time. [Timeline]General events are in red and bold.

[Evolution]Evolution for Hollow from an OOC standpoint is fairly simple. Once an Adjuchas has a total of sixteen stat tiers, skill tiers, and/or abilities unlocked, they evolve; this includes the tier one levels which everyone starts with, and the additional levels and abilities you get to pick upon registering. So at most, an Adjuchas (who start with at least three stats, skills, and/or abilities that they can choose from registration, giving them a total of eleven) would only need to pick up five more stat tiers, skill tiers, or abilities to evolve. Once you have reached this point, your profile will undergo an edit made by a mod to fit the new level of evolution. You can choose not to evolve if you so wish. You can write up a post for the evolution process, but it is not necessary. [Abilities]As Adjuchas and Arrancar are two different levels of evolution within the same species, they naturally progress differently in abilities. Therefore, listed below you will find that there are two different categories of abilities. One for Adjuchas and one for Arrancar. Upon evolution, an Adjuchas will transfer to the Arrancar path, and will be able to reassign their abilities, though not their stat and skill tiers, differently to fit the Arrancar ability tree. [Adjuchas]Reiatsu:Ability One - Allows the manifestation of a power wholly unique to the individual Hollow. Available at Reiatsu Skill 1.
Ability Two - Allows the manifestation of a second power unique to the individual Hollow, so long as it is somehow related to the first. Available at Reiatsu Skill 2.
Ability Three - Allows the manifestation of a third power unique to the individual Hollow, so long as it is somehow related to the first two. Available at Reiatsu Skill 3.
Cero - A medium level ability standard to any Hollow, Cero is the ability to concentrate Reiatsu into a single point and release it in a crimson ray at a single target; upon collision, the Reiatsu then detonates into a blistering explosion. The charge and flight times of Cero are, unfortunately, as great as their destructive properties, making it a dangerous and dangerous to use ability. Available at Reiatsu Skill 3.
Negacion - A break from the otherwise offensive Hollow-unique abilities, the focus of Negacion is on defense: this ability allows the Hollow to create a pillar of sheer golden reiatsu about themselves. Beings 'sealed' within the Negacion are immune to attack for one post, but likewise are incapable of making an attack. Because of the strain put on the user, this ability may be used only once per thread, and becomes available at Reiatsu Skill 4.
Dos Cero - Something of an obvious expansion, Dos Cero allows the user to charge and fire two Cero simultaneously; while the charge and flight times are equivalent to a single Cero, both the cost and potential for damage are, naturally, doubled. Available at Reiatsu Skill 4.
Reiatsu Sensing One - With Reiatsu Sensing 1, the user can detect the fact that Reiatsu is, in fact, being expressed - who's reiatsu and what type, however, are a mystery. Available at Reiatsu Skill 2.
Reiatsu Sensing Two - With Reiatsu Sensing 2, the user is able to differentiate flared Reiatsu into Shinigami, Rukon Citizen or Hollow 'types'. Available at Reiatsu Skill 3.
Reiatsu Sensing Three - With Reiatsu Sensing 3, the user is able to clearly distinguish Reiatsu down to specific spirits, allowing them to know exactly whom is flaring their Reiatsu. Available at Reiatsu Skill 4.
Reiatsu Flare - Reiatsu Flare allows the user to outwardly express their Reiatsu into the world around them, generating a corona of light and exposing those nearby to the 'feel' of their Reiatsu. Available at Reiatsu Skill 1.
Conceal Reiatsu One - The first level of Reiatsu Concealment allows the user to 'hide' up to 50% of their naturally expressed Reiatsu - this ability defeats Reiatsu Sensing 1. Available at Reiatsu Skill 2.
Conceal Reiatsu Two - The second level of Reiatsu Concealment allows the user to 'hide' up to 75% of their naturally expressed Reiatsu, defeating Reiatsu Sensing 2 - however, a character with Reiatsu Sensing 2 would still be able to detect a larger amount of Reiatsu coming from the user's general area. Available at Reiatsu Skill 3.
Conceal Reiatsu Three - The third level of Reiatsu Concealment allows the user to fully hide their naturally expressed Reiatsu, defeating Reiatsu Sensing 3 - however, a character with Reiatsu Sensing 3 would still be able to detect a larger amount of Reiatsu coming from the user's general area. Available at Reiastu Skill 4. Footwork:Sonido - The Hollow faction's Rapid Movement Technique, Sonido is a series of rapid steps that allow the user to move ten meters at a pace half-again as quick as their maximum running speed. Because of the nature of Sonido, it is considered the most physically taxing of the Rapid Movement Techniques, but also the most versatile, as the Hollow need follow no set course to their destination, making Sonido the most difficult Rapid Movement Technique to interrupt. The rapid footsteps used in Sonido generate a constant buzzing noise, and the ability becomes available to Footwork Skill 1.
Air Walking - The Hollow's ability to, using Reiatsu, allow their feet to adhere to thin air as though solid ground. This ability becomes available at Footwork Skill 2.
Consecutive Dash - This ability allows the user to use Sonido three times per post, though not in sequence. Consecutive Dash becomes available at Footwork Skill 3.
Stealth - With the Stealth ability, the Hollow is able to use Sonido without the signifying sound, as well as to move silently in general. Stealth becomes available at Footwork Skill 3.
Sonido Assault - With this ability, the Hollow is able to strike with hand or weapon during a Sonido dash. These attacks tend to be dangerous for both user and victim, but in turn are limited by the natural inhibitions of Sonido itself. This ability may only be used once per post, and becomes available at Footwork Skill 4.
After Image - The original After Image technique, the Hollow version involves the user moving extremely rapidly, leaving behind a light trail of Reiatsu through which physical copies of themselves are made, causing a wholly confusing sight as the Hollow advances erratically at their target. This ability may last as long as four posts before the Hollow must halt the effect, the draining nature of the ability only allowing it be used three times per thread. Becomes available at Footwork Skill 4. Hand to Hand:Contortion - A basic ability for those practiced in Hand to Hand skills, Contortion grants the user a more limber body, allowing them to bend their bodies in odd, but not otherworldly, manners, thus allowing such things as curving their backs to exaggerated degrees or twisting their torso up to ninety degrees from their waist. This ability becomes available at Hand to Hand Skill 1.
Sonido Strikes - This ability allows the user to strike at the same speed they are capable of moving at with Sonido, presuming they are unarmed or using hand to hand specialized weapons. Becomes available at Hand to Hand Skill 2.
Cutting Strikes - Furthering the goal of turning one's body into a weapon, Cutting Strikes allows the user to form sharpened Reiatsu along the length of the edge of their palms, as well as their shins, allowing their strikes to deal cutting damage. Cutting Strikes becomes available at Hand to Hand Skill 3, and may only be used once every other post.
Reiatsu Shell - The living take on the belief that meditation could allow a person to shield their bodies with their soul, the Hardened Reiatsu ability will grant the user the ability to safely attempt blocking or turning a blade or overpowering force. The greater the size or power of the blocked force, the more draining this ability is. This ability may only be used once every other post, and becomes available at Hand to Hand Skill 3.
Explosive Strikes - In an attempt to turn their fists into far more dangerous weapons, Explosive Strikes allows the user to express their reiatsu violently with a single strike, detonating outward with great force. This ability may only be used once every fourth post, and is available at Hand to Hand Skill 4.
Reiatsu Infection - Only able to be used alongside Cutting Strikes, Reiatsu Infection allows the user to infect wounds dealt with their own Reiatsu, causing the wound to become resistant to healing Kido, making standard healing procedure more effective than Reiatsu-based. Becomes available at Hand to Hand Skill 4. Weaponry:Create Reishi Weapon One - Allows the Hollow to create a weapon out of Reishi. Available at Weaponry Skill 1.
Create Reishi Weapon Two - Allows the Hollow to create a second weapon out of Reishi. Available at Weaponry Skill 2.
Create Reishi Weapon Three - Allows the Hollow to create a third weapon out of Reishi. Available at Weaponry Skill 3.
Exploding Weapons - Allows the Hollow to detonate their Reishi weapons, sending Reishi shrapnel flying through the air in a conical direction. Available at Weaponry Skill 3.
Ability Channeling - Allows the Hollow to channel their unique powers through their Reishi weapons if applicable. Available at Weaponry Skill 4.
Reiatsu Infection - This ability calls for the infusion of Reiatsu to a Reishi weapon that will allow the weapon, as it cuts into an opponent, to infect the wound with the wielder's reiatsu. The resulting wound becomes resistant to healing effects, being better treated by standard medical treatment than reiatsu based treatments. The larger and deeper the created wound, the more Reiatsu is taken from the wielder. Available at Weaponry Skill 4. [Arrancar]Reiatsu:Cero - An ability usually standard to any Arrancar, Cero is the ability to concentrate Reiatsu into a single point and release it in a crimson ray at a single target; upon collision, the Reiatsu then detonates into a blistering explosion. Bala - Considered a dense Cero, the Bala is a smaller, more compact ball of condensed Reiatsu; as with Cero, Bala detonate on impact, but unlike Cero, the overall power, charge time and flight times are exponentially decreased; this is made up for by their lower energy cost and the ability to fire up to five in rapid succession. Available at Reiatsu Skill 2.
Dos Cero - Something of an obvious expansion, Dos Cero allows the user to charge and fire two Cero simultaneously; while the charge and flight times are equivalent to a single Cero, both the cost and potential for damage are, naturally, doubled. Available at Reiatsu Skill 3.

Gran Rey Cero - The defining evolution of Cero, the Gran Rey Cero is considered the most debilitating attack in the Arrancar arsenal of non-specific abilities. By blending their own blood into a charging Cero, an Arrancar is capable of halving the charge time of the Cero and doubling the power of it's detonation. The Gran Rey Cero's color, unlike the average Cero, is the same color as the user's Reiatsu. Because of the cost and strain put into the Gran Rey Cero, it may only be used twice per thread, and becomes available at Reiatsu Skill 4.
Cero Doble - A crippling ability in its own right, the Cero Doble is defined as the ability of an Arrancar to swallow an incoming Cero, and by sampling of it's power instantly create a Cero of their own, which they fire as they regurgitate the original Cero at a new target - this effectively creates a Cero at half-again it's original power. However, because the process involves swallowing what amounts to a bomb, this ability may only be used once very three posts, and cannot be used against or with conjunction with Dos Cero, Gran Rey Cero, or another Cero Doble. Available at Reiatsu Skill 4.

Resurrección - The Arrancar response to Shikai, Resurrección allows the Arrancar to temporarily return to his Hollow form, simultaneously restoring access to one of his original unique powers, by releasing the fragment of his powers sealed within his Zanpakuto. Available at Weaponry Skill 2.
Unspoken Resurrección - Tapping into command over their own spirits, this ability allows the Arrancar to enter his restored form without a command, so long as their hand is upon their weapon. Available at Weaponry Skill 3.
Resurrección: Segunda Etapa - The Arrancar response to Bankai, Resurrección Segunda Etapa is a combination of the Arrancar's humanoid form and the natural form released in the first Resurrección, though unlike the previous it grants the Arrancar access to all of their unique Hollow powers. Available at Weaponry Skill 3.
Complete Resurrección - With total mastery over their own spirits, the Arrancar is capable of instantly transitioning from a sealed state to his Resurrección Segunda Etapa form without warning. Available at Weaponry Skill 4.
