[About]Come one, come all, to the great AK Reset Auction!
What we'll be doing here is a pre-registration for the ten starting high ranks that are available. They are the Soutaicho, Second Division Taichou, Third Division Taichou, Fourth Division Taichou, Fifth Division Taichou, and five Arrancar positions. The reason for this is to ease confusion and complication during regular registration for these spots. You do not have to have a character ready to join in the auction, you just have to fill out a form located below.
The auction will start tomorrow (5/24/12) at 2PM Box Time. At that time, I will make a post announcing which two ranks (one Taichou and one Arrancar) are up for auction that day, as well as the winner from the previous day with the exception of tomorrow. From the time I post, you have 24 hours to fill out your form and post it in this thread. For those of you who may not be able to get on the day of the auction for the rank you want, you can send your form in early via PM and I will post it for you.
If there is a spot not filled by the end of the five days, the form is still something applicants have to fill out prior to approval for the rank in the future.
Rules:1. You must have the form in during the allotted 24 hours, unless sending it in early due to a schedule issue.
2. You can only apply for one of the two spots available that day; so either Taichou or Arrancar, but if you do not get the spot, you can apply for the new ranks on the next day.
3. Do not lie on your form answers. I know the answers to most if not all of the questions for the majority of people as is. The questions are there so I can see the answers side by side and so people can see why someone else was chosen. If I know you're lying, you'll be automatically disqualified and ineligible for any other high rank. In the case that you aren't sure of an answer, put that you aren't sure, as I probably already know.
4. If you do not get a rank you were going for, do not whine about it. These decisions are being made on a combination of factors found in the form so that we can put people in the spots that are going to keep AK active and going.
5. Make sure you proofread and spell-check your entries as we are judging somewhat on your skill as an RPer, which includes how well you can write. Form:Taichou/Arrancar Application (only pick one for the title; please delete arrancar if you are going for a taichou and delete taichou if going for an arrancar)
1. How long in general have you been RPing?
2. Have you have ever had a high rank character, faction leader, or held a position of power before?
3. If so, for how long? If not, leave this blank.
4. Have you ever quit AK before or gone on a long inactivity period?
5. On average, how many days/hours can you be on a week?
6. Why do you want a high rank?
7. How are you going to help keep the faction and the site active with this character?
8. Please provide a sample RP below, between three to ten paragraphs, using a Bleach themed setting. It can be about whatever you want as long as it is not vulgar, offensive, or graphic.

[Auction - Day One]Today (5/24/12) is the first of five days that will be dedicated to our auction process! The two ranks being 'auctioned' away today are the Soutaichou, captain of the Shinigami's First Division and leader of the Taichou Council, and of course our first of five starting Arrancar spots! Be sure to follow all the rules and answer all the questions in the form. Make sure you are posting your forms in this thread unless you are sending them in early for a different rank because you wont be here on that day! In which case, PM them to me and I will post them for you during that auction.
You have 24 hours to get your application for either spot in. Good luck!

Taicho Application1. How long in general have you been RPing? I've been rping on forums since about the spring of 2004, so Eight years now. 2. Have you have ever had a high rank character, faction leader, or held a position of power before? Yes, on more than one occasion. 3. If so, for how long? If not, leave this blank. I've rp'd as Soutaicho in total, for about 2 and half years. As a Taicho I've rped one off and on for the last five years. I've also rp'd as two Espada, combined time about a year. Additionally on another type of forum I've rp'd a head of family state and security. This was about a two year period. Oh! Almost forgot, I rp'd the core villain for a time too before a reset, not sure if that'd count. 4. Have you ever quit AK before or gone on a long inactivity period? No I've never quit AK, however either due to losing my internet or moving I've been absent for a period of time <a month at the most>, but never without giving an advanced warning of at least 2 weeks. 5. On average, how many days/hours can you be on a week? Hours, I'm not sure, days however I'm on at least 2 times a day for hours at a time, everyday unless given notice that I would be absent. 6. Why do you want a high rank? Simply put, I believe that with a high rank I can assist in many ways in keeping things within my faction of choice both active and interesting. And, for a more selfish reason, because I enjoy the rank, and enjoyment/fun is truly the goal of rping isn't it? 7. How are you going to help keep the faction and the site active with this character? I plan on using this character to keep my division and overall faction busy whilst giving them prime IC reasons to interact with those outside of the Shinigami faction. 8. Please provide a sample RP below, between three to ten paragraphs, using a Bleach themed setting. It can be about whatever you want as long as it is not vulgar, offensive, or graphic. I'm going to include my former Lt and the captains from before reset for what I'm writing. Jira for 2nd, Ryosei for 3rd, Ne for 4th and Katsu for 5th. I'm also taking a few liberties ability wise with Malik. It had started off as a pretty quiet day, as he had grown, for the most part, accustomed. The sky was clear, the sun was out and the day was looking to turn out very, very warm. There he sat, the hood of his haori down, his hair tied up in tightly in its braid and a cool glass of fruit juice next to the stack of paper work he had to oversee. Oh the life of a Soutaicho. With a small sigh, he took up his quill, dabbed it into his ink and signed the first of the many documents, this one outlining today's incoming shipments from the Rukongai. "Seems they've had a bit of trouble this harvest. The rice and beans are down a good quarter from the last. What to do, what to do.. What say you on the subject, Masato?" He glanced up as the Fukutaicho stepped through the door carrying a small stack of papers under his right arm. More duty rosters. Malik was sure of it. "Perhaps they're feeling cheated after that Hollow attack upon the wall last month. Many were injured within the First and Second districts while we fought them off. It might be wise to offer them more medical supplies in exchange for the food shortage." The boy was a bright cookie. It was the main reason he was promoted to his station, station, well that and their shared love of cheese. Malik offered the boy a smile and nodded his head. "I agree. I'll send Jira-Taicho and Katsu-Taicho a butterfly before Katsu and his troops escort the food into the city. That way they can carry some supplies of our own to make up for our error to protect them to our fullest." He took up the next document and frowned. "Another report on the repairs to the West Gate and outer wall. They suspect another two weeks before the gate is in top shape and another before all the damage to the outer wall is sealed. Masato, make a note to send two garrisons of our own Division to assist in the repairs. We cannot afford to have our troops stretched so thin for so long. " The lieutenant nodded and took a seat across from Malik, setting the papers down neatly in a pile behind that which the Soutaicho was already working on.
The two worked in quiet for a little while, only speaking to verify certain aspects of what they were signing. Minutes passed into an hour very quickly and when the second pile of paperwork was half finished, and they were each on their third glass of juice, Masato finally spoke as Malik was taking another drink."So, how's Mai?"Malik nearly spat out his juice, but forced down a swallow while trying not to choke. His attempt was only partly successful as he coughed violently a few moments after. "Why-why do you ask?" He managed, his face red from the coughing fit. He watched as Masato seemed to squirm a bit before opening his mouth to speak, but then the entire world seemed to shake.
The two Shinigami stood up so quickly that their chairs both shot backward and slid across the floor with a thud. Paperwork forgotten, and looking glass snatched, the two quickly moved to the west window to see what hell had just been unleashed upon them. Taking the looking glass from Masato, Malik brought it to his eye and looked down at remains of the gate. It was all but gone. What little was left was alive with fire. Worse yet, a horde of Hollow was piling into the city. He couldn't count them, as they were moving too quickly for his hazel eyes to see. "Take our entire garrison and support the Fourth Division's troops. I'll send word to the others and join you as soon as I can." "Hai." With a soft swish, Masato was gone. Reaching into his belt, the Soutaicho took out a bit of black powder and began to draw symbols upon both of his hands and arms as he recited the first of two Kido. "Black and white net, twenty-two bridges, sixty-six crowns and belts; footprints, distant thunder, sharp peak, engulfing land, hidden in the night, sea of clouds, blue line; form a circle and fly through the heavens! Bakudou number Seventy-Seven! Tenteikuura!" As the kido activated, Malik could feel his mind mentally connect with every Gotei Five member within and outside the walls of the city he called home: Seireitei, the city he helped build. "Attention, this is Tanaka Malik, Soutaicho. The West wall into the city has been breached. All members of the Gotei are expected to respond and assist the Fourth Division in keeping the threat at bay. We will push them out and back into the Wastelands they call home. For members of the Second Division, expect to receive causalities and the severely wounded. He paused for a moment before continuing. "To my fellow Taicho, await further instruction." With his first message delivered he dropped to his knees, placed his hands upon the floor and began to recite the second kido. "Heart of the south, eye of the north, finger of the west, foot of the east, arrive with the wind and depart with the rain! Bakudou number Fifty-eight! Kakunutssuijaku!" Using this tracking kido he quickly found the four other Captains and stood, cupping his mouth with his hands and whispered his orders. A soft black and purple glow came as he finished speaking and whilst uncupping his hands he blew and sent four tiny butterflies in four different directions.
He made his way out of his Division and walked west, toward the chaos. Before him he saw her, that demon who had plagued him for centuries. His orders to his fellow Taicho were simple, to do what must be done and allow her through to come for him. He knew she would be there, she always was. Always trying to nip at Malik's heels. She gave him the scar upon his chest and he gave her the one upon her face. Today it would end. Today everything would be settled, for better or worse. This section of the city was deserted, he knew. He had made sure of it. And as the sounds of battle echoed from afar, he knew his people would win the day, regardless of his fate. They were his children, his family. And if killing the leader of their enemy cost him his life, he would be satisfied with that. Besides, one of the others could replace him, and Masato one of them. He only hoped his daughters understood.
He came to a stop, his zanpakuto drawn and ready. The hood on his haori was drawn up so that the upper portion of his face was covered in a shadow, but she could still see him smile. She hissed in response and flailed those long, ugly wings. "It all ends today, Demon," Malik assured her as he tapped his zanpakutos together releasing them into their Shikai as he started moving toward her, blades flashing in the sun. "Chances are, we both saw our last sunrise... Bankai."

This is out of curiousity but do we have to resubmit our applications if we don't get the position the first time? Arrancar Application 1. How long in general have you been RPing? AK was the first time that I really started to RP so I have been RPing for about three years. 2. Have you have ever had a high rank character, faction leader, or held a position of power before? Yes, I have had two high ranking characters. The first one was Crazy who was an ANBU. The second one was Shirio who was a Vizard. 3. If so, for how long? If not, leave this blank. I can't say for certain how long, although I will do my best to make a rough estimate. I had Crazy for about a year or so. I would guess that I had Shirio for about a year and a half. So in total I have had a high ranking character for about two and a half years. 4. Have you ever quit AK before or gone on a long inactivity period? I have gone on a few long periods of inactivity. These were either due to summer camp or vacation and I gave prior notice when they were coming up in order to make sure that I wasn't holding anyone up. 5. On average, how many days/hours can you be on a week? I can't really say for certain how many hours I can be on per week. However I'm usually on for a few hours every day (although there have been a few times when I wasn't able to go on for a day or two.) 6. Why do you want a high rank? There are a few reasons why I want to have a high rank. To start off, it would make my character's stats less of an issue so I could focus on RPing instead of gaining RP points. the second reason is that I believe that being a high ranking character would suit Ryuu the best out of the other options. Finally I think that being a high ranking character would allow me to affect the RP more than if I wasn't one. 7. How are you going to help keep the faction and the site active with this character? I suppose that the primary way that I would do this is by being active . I would try to find or start appropiate threads for my arrancar and I would try to have him interact with people who are both part of his faction and people who aren't part of his faction. 8. Please provide a sample RP below, between three to ten paragraphs, using a Bleach themed setting. It can be about whatever you want as long as it is not vulgar, offensive, or graphic. I will be playing as Ryuu during the Bount escape. Ryuu groaned as he woke up in the meager cell which had housed him since he had become a Bount. Groggily looking around, Ryuu's eyes widened immediately when he realized that the doors were open. Eagerly getting up and out of the straw that had served as his bed, Ryuu stuck his head out of the door and gave a quick glance around. It appeared that the other cell doors were open and there were several Bount running around and waking up the other Bount. "YES. Yesyesyesyes." Ryuu joyfully exclaimed as he rushed out of the cell and towards the doors at the other end of the hallway. He didn't know what had happened or how but he was now free. Now he could take revenge on the shinigami and (more importantly) kill to his heart's content. But first he had to find his doll and escape. "That should be easy enough." Ryuu thought to himself with a chuckle. "Zieg Diche." Ryuu said. Immediately feeling the presence of his doll, Ryuu laughed a bit as he heard a few distant screams. Rushing off in the direction of the screams, Ryuu rushed through several rooms before coming to a sudden stop. Who else would he find but a pair of shinigami who were rushing towards the ensuing riot. Taking advantage of their momentary suprise, Ryuu used a shunpo and appeared next to one of the shinigami. Sharpening his hand, Ryuu then managed to land a chop on the shinigami's throat and nearly decapitated him. "One down." Ryuu thought to himself as he moved away from the remaining shinigami in order to regroup. Hardening his other hand, Ryuu dodged the shinigami's zanpakutou as it was swung for his midsection. Moving forward, Ryuu noticed that the shinigami was going for a vertical slash and caught it with his hardened hand. "You lose." Ryuu said with a smile as he sent his other hand through the man's throat before pushing the corpse onto the floor. "It seems you've improved a bit." Ryuu heard a gravelly voice say from behind him. Turning around to face the newcomer, Ryuu's smile grew wider when he saw that it was Garandou. "A little bit. Any idea what's going on?" Ryuu asked, only to see Garandou shake his head in response. "Neither do I, however I think that things are about to get extremely fun. Shall we go and share the joy with some of our Shinigami friends?" Ryuu asked Garandou as he began to move to the door. Signaling to Garandou to follow him, Ryuu exited the room and headed towards the site of the most action. Ryuu didn't know what was going to happen next but he was sure that a few shinigami were going to have a pretty bad day and he knew that the next few hours were going to be fun.

[Congrats]The two winners from yesterday (as we only had two enter) are of course, Mal and Crazy! The Soutaichou spot and one Arrancar slot will be removed from the Open Ranks thread. To answer Crazy's question, yes, you do need to resubmit your application each time you apply, so I know who is still doing it, and so it is with the current batch of apps that I have to look at. [Auction - Day Two]Today (5/25/12) is the second of five days that will be dedicated to our auction process! The two ranks being 'auctioned' away today are the Second Division Taichou, captain of the Shinigami's medical division, and of course the second of five starting Arrancar spots!
Good luck!

Taichou Application
1. How long in general have you been RPing? Well, you’ve been pretty much around to see my entire Rp career xP Besides SL, but I didn’t do much serious Rping back then. It’ll be about two years before SR started, so 6-7 years I guess.
2.Have you have ever had a high rank character, faction leader, or held a position of power before? Once as the 8th Division Captain on SR, the potential Primera in AK one, and my short stint as Primera in AK 2. Lately I have been one of the candidates for Anbu Captain on another site.
3.If so, for how long? If not, leave this blank. My entire tenure on SR, and the few months as Primera on Ak
4.Have you ever quit AK before or gone on a long inactivity period? Only when I headed out for vacation, otherwise I think I was around the whole time. Maybe some drops in activity when school Is rough, or I’m sick or something.
5.On average, how many days/hours can you be on a week? I’m around everyday really. Sometimes I am less active then other times, but with only one char per person I don’t think keeping up to speed will be difficult
6.Why do you want a high rank? Well, partly because I think I’m a really reliable guy xP Even though Ill have to take some time to get used to this new landscape of our’s, I don’t have any intention of leaving anytime soon. And you should know me well enough that I’m not one to leave or get in a fight and cause problems because of stupid reasons, and even in when I slip up I calm down soon. So dependency wise you can count on my to stick with the position until my char meets a horrible death <.<
On a more RP related note, while I do see the enjoyment of building up a char and earning you spot on the top, I had my fair share of that. Besides SR where I had the mantle, most of my RP’s were building up to being someone who can influence the landscape of the game somehow, and most of the time the results fell flat for one reason or another. Now, with things looking like they won’t be changing for long, I want a chance to try my best as an important character in a sense, at least once not having to deal with any complications on my way there. May sound slightly silly, but it’s just something Id like.
7.How are you going to help keep the faction and the site active with this character? Well, seeing how I’m aiming for the 2nd Division, meaning the medical division, Ill most likely have a lot of occasions to assist Shinigmai with my skill, hehe. Ill be sure to always be available if someone needs healing, and make sure other people in the division are up to a proficient level. Otherwise, there is only this much I can do besides actively contributing into any site activity, which Ill surely do. Having one char to focus on will allow me to focus on working out something interesting with him rather then spreading myself over many factions. Ill use all the tools provided and opportunities open to try and make things interesting for the whole site.
8.Please provide a sample RP below, between three to ten paragraphs, using a Bleach themed setting. It can be about whatever you want as long as it is not vulgar, offensive, or graphic.
Ahh, such a nice day to round up the day. Watching the sun slowly go down behind the horizon, leaning over the windows while sipping a nice warm cup of tea. His Haori hanging neatly by the door, he shifted around his shoulders a bit, stretching the muscles slightly to relax him. Yes, today was a pretty rough day, even moreso then usually.
It started out rather tame, them taking in patients since they opened the gates, the usual kind, some bruises after spar’s, a few coughs and colds, some children who played around without enough care. Just another calm day, he mused to himself with a warm smile on his face, as he strolled between the hallways of the medical wards. He wasn’t really needed, but he liked to be around and watch how things, unfolded, helping the younger members of his Division when they needed, scolding some for acting a bit to tardy for their own good, conversing with the patients. A clam day altogether
At least till around midday came, when there came a heavy influx of people, most of them in a rather bad shape. Apparently, as one of the wounded people who happened to be a member of the 4th Division mentioned something about some unrest in the Third district of the Rukongai. From what he said, a few Hollow managed to slip into the city and cause some havoc, managing to kill a few people before he patrol of Shinigami dealt with them. The people, grief stricken because of the attack and angry at the Shinigami for not doing enough to stop it, so they lashed out their frustrations on the already wounded Shinigami. Their squad managed to pull away as many of them as possible, along with some of the wounded rukon citizens, while other patrol were sent to try and calm the unrest.
Hearing about such things always filled him with a mix of sadness and anger. Why he didn’t think that the wall’s of their city was impenetrable, he couldn’t help but to wonder why did people insist on these divides between them. For him both the people outside and inside the wall’s were jus that, people, left to live in this harsh land, having to fend of what was once another living, breathing person as well. Was this need of independence the Rukongai apparently felt really worth being killed for? Or maybe they just didn’t care, since they were as quick as to turn against the Shinigami as the Hollow when they spotted the chance…one could wonder just where did the divide between men and beast lie…
These thoughts carried on in the back of his head, as he set of to work, his skill’s being most certainly needed in such a situation. As much as he wanted to venture into the district himself and aid the wounded back there, and maybe knocking some sense into the people fighting, on both sides. While he trusted the 5th division combat prowess, he also felt some members were a bit too hasty to start the fight and to relucent to stop. But still, he was the Taicho, and he was needed here to help the most wounded, and coordinate his men as best he could. After designating some medics to send along with the reinforcements, so they could take care of the wounded, he threw himself into the thick of what was to take care of.
And there was a lot work to be done indeed, some of the Shinigami and Rukon dwellers being rather badly injured, either by the Hollow or the other citizens later on in the case of the Shinigami. He quickly assessed the degree of damage of all the wounded, separating them accordingly to the seriousness of their wounds. While he let his men deal with the lighter cases, he personally took oversaw the treatment of the most wounded. Those were four people who are life for one or another reason were endangered, sometimes to the point it was a miracle that they managed to make it. Using all the skills he had with the healing arts, along with his companions, he managed to stabilize the state of three of them, mending up the wounds to a point they wouldn’t die. Sadly, one of them didn’t manage to make it, giving out his last breath. He felt a fleeting sense of guilt for not being fast enough, but he felt the call was right. The citizens came first, being only victims in a wild war, while the Shnigami’s duty was to risk his life. Besides, the wounds seemed to be inflicted by other men, which meant he ran the lowest risk of infecting into a Hollow after his death.
After that, tending to the others was tiring, but systematic work. His healing Raitsu could only help so much, and after that there was a lot of cleaning the wounds, sewing them closed, and if sadly needed, severing the dead limbs forms the rest of the body. Some of these people would have an unpleasant surprise once they awoke, but they would survive, and in the end saving lives was the thing he was meant to do.
Fast forward to him in his chamber, sipping the now chilled down tea, letting out a soft sigh. Most of the day had been spent on healing the men injured in the riot, both Shinigami and Rukon. While it was quenched rather quickly, they did managed to bring back two more rounds of wounded. Of them 5 died in spite of their treatment, but all the rest were at least stable. Rubbing his forehead, he put his cup down after which he wrapped himself back in his Haori. The worst of the day was behind him, but still, he never new when he would be needed once more.

Arrancar Application
1. How long in general have you been RPing? Normal RP would be about seven years, forum name of onaforum2.clicdev.proboards, name being Archdragon at the time. Right after I graduated High School and started going to UTA, I found SL and then I was introduced to AK, and been on it ever since.
2. Have you have ever had a high rank character, faction leader, or held a position of power before? Vasto Lord Reihitsu, and previously, Onigan Ne, Taichou.
3. If so, for how long? If not, leave this blank. Reihitsu for at least a year I think... Ne for a little under that time.
4. Have you ever quit AK before or gone on a long inactivity period? Never quit AK, and I cannot give an exact time frame for inactivity, I want to say at least a couple of weeks for sure.
5. On average, how many days/hours can you be on a week? I'd say about roughly six to seven hours each day, sans Sunday which would be two or three in the morning, four in the afternoon give or take.
6. Why do you want a high rank? I will admit; personally, I wish to play out a dark character who despite his reasons, has no intention of doing anything for the benefit of anyone but himself, but also to see if I can make a better impact as an Arrancar then I did as a Taichou, plot wise.
7. How are you going to help keep the faction and the site active with this character? Shi is not going to be interested in gaining control of the Arrancar and Adjuchas, he is going to be interested in the land that the Rukon Citizens and Shinigami have and figuring out ways to obtain it for himself. He's going to be hopping frequently back and forth from the area, seeing what he can find out as well as if he can find some allies to assist with his plans. That's about as much as I can say right now and admit that it's concrete.
8. Please provide a sample RP below, between three to ten paragraphs, using a Bleach themed setting. It can be about whatever you want as long as it is not vulgar, offensive, or graphic.
Shi quietly glanced out of the corner of his eyes, narrowing them for a moment before his lips curled in annoyance. He made no sudden moves and instead began planning how to deal with his soon to be attacker, catching brief glimpse of a large shadow. Definitely not humanoid in appearance, indicating that his opponent was one of the lower level Hollow, an Adjuchas. The fight would require cunning and craft still and not brute force as there were numerous factors to consider as he slowed his pace and silently placed a hand on his zanpakuto's handle.
Size, strength, intelligence, and speed. The four key factors that would determine Shi's plan as well as his options. Fighting as a human would be useful namely for dexterity and agility compared to the bulky form that was waiting to be brought forth with a single command. However, Shi didn't know what kind of an Adjuchas he was about to face nor could he afford to underestimate any enemy lest he wind up as a meal. It would be best to plan when to unleash his true might, as Shi was not about to show weakness and arrogance by trying to take it on within a human form. The short Arrancar was not yet ready for such a feat of pure prowess and strength, not yet at least.
That was the purpose of a plan, something Shi was especially good at. All the Arrancar needed was to set up the opponent for a vicious assault that would carry only death; no mercy. Slowly Shi turned around and merely gazed at the beast that wished to make him into a meal. He ignored the dark grin twisting it's way across the Adjuchas' face and instead sized up the creature quickly. A large bear of an Adjuchas, twelve feet in size with large rippling muscles to match the great form it possessed and the massive claws on each paw. The Adjuchas had the hole strangely where Shi knew the collarbone land neck ideally lined up for a human if he were to compare it to his bear of an opponent. Despite the size that would intimidate most, Shi focused on the stubby legs, and noted how it was standing up on the two hind quarters to appear more intimidating and gave an exact three to roughly four feet of clearance.
"Not a lot of meat on you..." The Adjuchas chortled, smirking down at Shi who merely stared at the predator coldly. The Arrancar silently gripped his zanpakuto and placed the final piece down to his plan, muscles awaiting their orders to only react to the first move. "But you'll do!" he laughed, bringing a paw down to pin Shi.
A move he was ready for as he quickly bolted forward, pushing both legs to their maximum to reach optimal speed so he could slip down and slide through bear's legs. Shi pulled out his sword and drove it into the ground like a brake, using the weapon also to pull himself up as the Adjuchas narrowed his eyes in confusion at the sudden, human move. He couldn't see Shi rising up as the predator began to look around only for the short Arrancar to deliver a single sharp slash to the tendons of the bear's right heel, forcing it to kneel partially at the sudden strike's effect. Then Shi quickly brought the flat of his blade back to slap his own hip, already moving onto the next part of the plan.
"Aullido, Zorro Negro." In an instant his blade shattered as the Adjuchas turned it's head to glare at him, only to see the shards swarm the Arrancar, covering Shi entirely. Soon the black blade fragments seemed to melt into his skin before seven long black tails shot forward only to wrap around Shi's body and then pull back to reveal the sleek black form of a large fox, bearing a large black mask.
Shi wasted no time in pushing into the air with all his might and went to the next step. He lowered his head to allow one tail forward to hook into the Adjuchas' hole. Using his tails like human arms and hands, Shi wrapped another tail around the neck and two more around the arms right underneath the armpits, all the while diverting reiryoku to the fur itself in the process. Each of the four tails tightened and seemed to grow heavy as the fur turned to steel before Shi used the next two, only the tips and end of his tail fur being turned to steel. He drove them into the soft tissue between the neck and the collarbone on either side like spears, ignoring any roar of pain from his enemy. The six tails effectively halted Shi at the height of his jump before he pulled himself down onto the Adjuchas' back, tightening his grip on the neck and shoulders to put pressure on the shoulder joints and the wind pipe.
"No, no!" the Adjuchas roared only for the final tail to be joined by the two newly free tails, pulling them together to form a single sort of hammer out of his tails like a human would interlace their fingers for a hammer blow. Shi merely cocked his head to the side, and brought the three tails down as one massive, meaty steel hammer. The bear Adjuchas cried in pain, covering up the loud crack before a second blow came and the voice died out. Shi merely glared down at his prey that had tried to make him into a meal, studying the remaining body and unwrapping his tails as the fur returned to it's previous natural state.
"Waste not," Shi mused before helping himself to his meal, the victor through a quick cunning plan.

[Congrats]The two winners from the day two auction (as we only had two enter) are of course, Haru and Sei! The Second Division Taichou spot and one Arrancar slot will be removed from the Open Ranks thread. [Auction - Day Three]Today (5/26/12) is the third of five days that will be dedicated to our auction process! The two ranks being 'auctioned' away today are the Third Division Taichou, captain of the Shinigami's information and investigation division, and of course the third of five starting Arrancar spots!
Good luck!

Arrancar Application 1. How long in general have you been RPing? It's been an on and off thing so I'll only count the long term sessions. I have a total of 5 years of role-play. 2. Have you have ever had a high rank character, faction leader, or held a position of power before? Yes. 3. If so, for how long? If not, leave this blank. That's hard to say as I have no recollection of the duration. An estimate, in my favor, would be two years. Combined with here and another site. 4. Have you ever quit AK before or gone on a long inactivity period? Yes. I quit, never been inactive however. 5. On average, how many days/hours can you be on a week? Seven days a week. Hours disclosed. >,,> 6. Why do you want a high rank? One reason would be that I generally feel comfortable in the Hollow race and even moreso comfortable with a humanoid character. 7. How are you going to help keep the faction and the site active with this character? Sickly demented plots with M Night Shyamalan-kinds of twists. 8. Sampled from (edited out errors): akatokiyami.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=junkhm&action=display&thread=3630"If I was having a problem, I wouldn't need the help of the Primera Espada... This Adjuchas is one worthy to be my pet. Afterall-"
Both the turtle's and the Arrancar's cero clash horribly, drowning out the screeching by Presta with one loud rumbling roar for just moments.
"-.. shellshocker here was able to null my cero at a mere twenty-five percent of it's true force. So touch the prey and I'll introduce you to the meaning 'pimp-slapped.'"
Hnnnn... Primera... thought Uulum.
Sometime after Uulum's actual remark towards the Primera he'd flick his gaze to the turtle and mutter softly, "Sonido." His figure blends into nothing, and to nothing he becomes as a burst of reiatsu temporarily makes him invisible for a split second, only actually repositioning the Arrancar a total of fifteen meters from the original spot, left; just two meters right of Basaran.
"CerO!"
Thicker and more beefier links of reiryoku gather into the form of a sphere until manifesting a structure at least twice that of his last cero, yet still not seemingly the full potential of an Arrancar's cero, especially one whom is skilled within the area of reiatsu based attacks. Once the ball is formed it is released into a doom blast that zooms forward at point-blank range.

Taichou Application1. How long in general have you been RPing? Approximately six years. 2. Have you have ever had a high rank character, faction leader, or held a position of power before? Kazekage, way back when. 3. If so, for how long? If not, leave this blank. A year, give or take a few months. Until the first reset. 4. Have you ever quit AK before or gone on a long inactivity period? I'm unsure, but I believe the longest I've been gone for is a month, around October 2010. It might've been a little more than that. 5. On average, how many days/hours can you be on a week? I'm online every day out of necessity. I may be on slightly less once I start college, but I'll still be around more than I ought to be. 6. Why do you want a high rank? I want to try something different. Having piloted a low-ranked ''human'' character for the entirety of AK v2, and a shinobi before that, I decided I'd give another race a shot. Originally, I was going to roll Arrancar, but I've since found the motivation to make a Taichou; I want easier access to certain members of the community, most of whom I've not gotten to interact with much, if at all. 7. How are you going to help keep the faction and the site active with this character? I like being involved. Although I still had a good run under a character whose personality and circumstances hadn’t allowed for much positive interaction, I feel this is an opportunity to tweak her in ways that would grant me more liberty in my roleplay while maintaining some form of influence, no matter how slight. So that's what I'll set out to do: have some impact. 8. Please provide a sample RP below, between three to ten paragraphs, using a Bleach themed setting. It can be about whatever you want as long as it is not vulgar, offensive, or graphic. This is, of course, not how things would develop in actual RP. If you must judge anyone: judge Confetti. She made me do this. Sort of.
Short and sweet because holyshitsotired. A tragedy of alarming proportions had befallen the 3rd Division. The sheer magnitude of the destruction, truly, was unfathomable; wounded littered the field, silent, not a groan sounding from their paling bodies. Woe betide the beast responsible! Surely, it will grow to rue the day upon which it had decided to feast upon the Captain’s most favored subjects, should it even be permitted to live at all!
It could've been prevented, too, if only she hadn't ordered her Lieutenant to deal with the vile four-legged creature. Sumie had some unconventional methods of following commands, yes, and some equally-as-eccentric acquaintances to enact them, as demonstrated prior when she'd requested (read: coerced) that Shuchiku Kiba be the one to dispatch the beast; and though the latter had accepted, he, much like the Fukutaicho, had thrust the ordeal upon some other hapless lower-ranked Shinigami, who had called upon favors with another Captain, until she'd finally wound up with the job again, at which point the vegetable garden had been ravaged, because this is the 3rd Division, and we can't have nice things.
Kurisuna stood before the patch. No time to mourn her fallen, photosynthetic comrades. With most of the division’s personnel out and looking for the rodent at fault, it would no doubt be purged off the face of the realm in no time. Or so she thought, really, for come dusk, their search had yielded nothing; there was quite simply no trace of the culprit, and so she relented to laying down traps throughout the library and setting several division members she did not like to guard her… plants.
What joy it brought her in her morning, to learn that the little monster had moved onto the 2nd.

Taichou Application 1. How long in general have you been RPing? God, counting rings... Kk started in about 2007, and I was around a few years before that... I'm going to throw the dice and say about ten years now. 2. Have you have ever had a high rank character, faction leader, or held a position of power before? I have been Taicho, Arrancar, Central Villains, Vizard; on a few One Piece RP's I have been Captains; on a few Soul Eater RP's I have been Central Villains, Teachers and 'Death Scythes'; on Naruto RP's I have been Kage, Villains, and S-Rank Jounin. 3. If so, for how long? If not, leave this blank. Consistently, since the beginning; in some form or other, I have always managed to attain a high rank character. 4. Have you ever quit AK before or gone on a long inactivity period? When AK was a fledgling site, before RP had actually begun, I left for about six months. 5. On average, how many days/hours can you be on a week? On days I work, 20-30 hours per week, plus my days off add about twelve each... 44 to 54 hours a week, plus or minus. 6. Why do you want a high rank? Put simply and bluntly, I feel I can maintain activity for the division itself, and otherwise that, as a character, what few characters I couldn't inspire as a leader, I could inspire to grow to the level needed to best me. 7. How are you going to help keep the faction and the site active with this character? By maintaining my general rule of starting RP in low-RP areas, or joining threads that are seeing low traffic. As well, the rank would allow me to generate situations I wouldn't otherwise that could lead to noteworthy RP, or at least threads that more people would want into than usual. That's the goal, anyway. 8. Please provide a sample RP below, between three to ten paragraphs, using a Bleach themed setting. It can be about whatever you want as long as it is not vulgar, offensive, or graphic. An idea I've had kicking around in my head, this; includes two of my own characters. The Rukon was a land of varied regions, some mountaineous, some wooded, some flooded. This particular area, where Rikou had come through to Soul Society, was a quarry, with gravel coating the earth; the tiny pebbles crunched under his every step, and he could feel them bite into his feet, but he didn't register the pain. Feeling was beyond the Vizard now, save for rage; though his mask was not on his person, his eyes had melted into black pools, his irises a sickly yellow hue. Though Rikou had beaten the Hollow in their last confrontation, he had given in to the beast in a manner beyond comprehension, what he considered his final great epiphany. He had mastered the Hollow, and in turn become one with it; his skin was a mottled grey, his long black hair dulled and shot through with white streaks, and his breathing had turned ragged, coming in hard shuddering gasps rather than even inhalations. Despite this and his hunched demeanor, he moved rapidly, his Zanpakuto clenched in his left hand; he had to reach Seireitei, had to begin his atta- Of course, it would never be so simple. His path was impeded in short order by an equally short man, with short cropped hair and brown eyes that burned with hatred; though Kusu had never met Rikou, he knew the man's legacy, and thus knew his danger. Still, the mute Soshireikan had been sent to dispose of the Vizard the moment he dared step foot in Soul Society: Rikou was a plague, an infection that had wounded reality by doing what he had, by messing with experiments beyond his ken. Even now, in the far distance, an unnatural darkness loomed, an infliction on reality by the misdeeds Rikou had fathered. Kusu knew deep down that it was an unstoppable event, a reality he could not fight... but he had been ordered to halt the Vizard's progress, and an order was an order. Words were uneccessary; Kusu dropped into his pose, sliding back his right leg and pushing his left arm forward, bending the elbow into a ninety degree angle as his right arm crossed his abdomen, the fist level with his left elbow. In response, the Vizard drew his blade, and reiatsu formed a whorl over his face before fading away, leaving only his mask in its wake. The Vizard moved first, exploding forward with sword drawn back, an otherworldly howl leaving the cracked-open maw as the basic right-to-left slash was executed and summarily avoided, Kusu easily sliding to his left to slip his head just beneath the slash at its high point before slashing forward with his right hand, fist curled in tight as it met Rikou's mask at the forehead, shoving the Vizard's head back - revealing his throat, which Kusu assaulted with a sharp knife-strike of his left hand, which crossed his chest fingers extended, jabbing hard into the Vizard's neck at the crux of his jaw and throat. Though he felt his fingers sink into flesh deeply enough to ensure a kill on most other opponents, Kusu realized nearly too late that this enemy had surpassed the level of human. Rikou's left hand seized Kusu's by the wrist, the grey digits squeezing ferociously down on the smaller hand, and Kusu was incapable of avoiding the upward slash across his abdomen - and Rikou in turn was incapable of avoiding the series of hard kicks that rocked his side, the force trembling him better than the throat strike could have. In this new state of being, it would take more than a few kicks to take Rikou out of the battle - but they did well to pause his intentions, halting his perceived forward momentum in the battle long enough for Kusu to disengage, kicking away from the Vizard to better gauge his options. Blood red Reiatsu began to gather just before the cracked maw of Rikou's mask, and Kusu knew what was building; of course, with Rikou's back to the distant landscape, Kusu also knew what approached more rapidly than any had anticipated. The blackness that had swallowed Hueco Mundo and the Material plane was no longer creeping along, but racing now toward Seireitei, intent to swallow it and Soul Society in total whole. Death was imminent, and perhaps this was what gave Kusu his untoward bravery. In the face of absolute, unavoidable obliteration, there was nothing left for the comparatively young Soshireikan to fear, and so he cast that fear aside and charged, abandoning defense entirely. The half-Hollow before him shrieked in a mix of rage and agony, letting the Cero fly prematurely, and both were engulfed in the red hot fire of Rikou's Cero. When the blast faded, all that remained were two shredded forms, clawing, kicking and punching at one another in the dirt, blades forgotten, powers forgotten. As the edge of everything loomed above them, they succumbed to their most primal nature, and the two men fought as animals, howling as they tore at one another. When the abyss swallowed them, there was no victor, no loss; the two were taken into infinity and simply undone, unbound from their coils - and suddenly, where two had been, the lines blurred, the planes shifted, and one remained. Screaming into the light, the sixth son came to life in his father's hands, wailing his entrance in some far-away reality so distantly removed from that which he had left. He didn't know about that, of course; he couldn't, and never could. It simply hadn't existed, this soul's origin, and that made this new son a new being entirely, his existence a call-back to a reality that never was. " Welcome to the family, Kiba."

[Congrats]The winner from yesterday (as he's the only one who applied) is Cain! The Fourth Division Taichou spot will be removed from the Open Ranks thread. Since no one applied for the arrancar spot, at least one will be open after auction. However, anyone applying for it will still have to fill out the form and unlike the auction, they can be denied if they don't meet standards. [Auction - Day Five]Today (5/28/12) is the final of five days that will be dedicated to our auction process! The two ranks being 'auctioned' away today are the Fifth Division Taichou, captain of the Shinigami's outer defense division, and the fourth of five starting Arrancar spots, since one was not applied for in the last auction. Be sure to follow all the rules and answer all the questions in the form. Make sure you are posting your forms in this thread.
You have 24 hours to get your application for either spot in. Good luck!

Taichou Application (only pick one for the title; please delete arrancar if you are going for a taichou and delete taichou if going for an arrancar) 1. How long in general have you been RPing? I'd say somewhere in the range of nine, ten years; if we don't count SL and similar such sites, it's five or six years. 2. Have you have ever had a high rank character, faction leader, or held a position of power before? On SR, I was the Fukutaichou of the 13th Division, and was "promoted" to Captaincy after some time. I also held a staff position as a grader of training threads. For faction leader, I held the position of acting Mizukage on another site. 3. If so, for how long? If not, leave this blank. All told, it'd be four, maybe five years. 4. Have you ever quit AK before or gone on a long inactivity period? I went on a long break -- a year, maybe a little less or a little more -- when I lost all taste for roleplaying. This was back in...2010, 2011? 5. On average, how many days/hours can you be on a week? Days: every day. Hours? Hard to say, but I can get on at any time from 6 am to 10 pm, and I usually am on. If I had to give a number, I'd say...anywhere from 50 to 75 hours a week. 6. Why do you want a high rank? I'll be honest: I want power. I like power. Having power, influence, control: it's a good feeling. I've not been in a high rank for some number of years now; I think it's high time I tried my hand at a Taichou position once again, and see how I can help shape this new world...and possibly set a plot of my own in motion. 7. How are you going to help keep the faction and the site active with this character? With a Taichou, I’ll have an easier time of promoting interaction among my fellow shinigami, and hopefully across other factions as well; my frequent access to the internet at almost any time of the day will assure I can nearly always be available to help bring up the activity on AK. 8. Please provide a sample RP below, between three to ten paragraphs, using a Bleach themed setting. It can be about whatever you want as long as it is not vulgar, offensive, or graphic. I'll be showing the end of a battle between Shigeo and a Hollow A sudden flash of sunlight winking on steel blinded the beast for only a moment – that moment, however, was more than long enough for the blond Shinigami’s zanpakutou to hack down across its left arm, carving a bloody furrow in the Hollow’s flesh and eliciting an inhuman shriek of pain and anger from its toothy maw. Shigeo skipped back, throwing his hips backwards and narrowly dodging the Hollow’s counterattack as it lashed out with its uninjured right arm. The quadrupedal monster snarled in frustration at the large man, its eyes burning with hate, and it slowly began to circle the “death god”, prompting the latter to move warily in the opposite direction. The Hollow was a truly terrifying sight, barely recognizable as the human it once was before its corruption by the strange and terrible virus that plagued the wastelands beyond Rukongai’s borders. Its skin was a mottled patchwork of numerous, lengthy scars, acquired during pointless squabbles with its own kind; standing at over eight feet in height at the shoulders when hunched over and on all fours, it was still capable of rising on its back legs for brief periods of time and using its incredibly muscled limbs to batter its prey into submission. Another low growl slipped from between the aberration’s fanged jaws as it eyed its enemy; it paused, briefly, to gather strength to its back legs before it suddenly sprang towards the fair-haired swordsman with a howl, arms outstretched eagerly for what it thought would be its next meal. Unfortunately, the beastly Hollow had bitten off more than it could chew in choosing its prey. Shigeo’s blade rose defensively, his eyes narrowing as he awaited his opportunity… there. Forward came the Hollow, and down went Shigeo, ducking under the giant limbs of the creature and shifting to the right, spinning about to face the clearly confused creature. While the Hollow made a guttural sound of confusion, looking from left to right, the powerful shinigami charged forward, leaping into the air with his blade angled for a quick and deadly insertion into the beast’s skull. His foe was quite obliging, only managing to turn at the last moment so that Shigeo’s sword ended up buried neatly between the Hollow’s eyes as he came down. Yanking his weapon free, Shigeo grimaced in disgust at the ichor coating the steel as the vanquished monster collapsed in a heap unceremoniously on the ground before him. Without a word, the swordsman wiped his blade off as best he could on the twisted flesh of the fallen beast and continued on his way.

[smear:300130]Taichou[/smear:CCCCFF] [smear:CCCCFF]Application[/smear:300130]1. How long in general have you been RPing?I've been role-playing for a very long time. Ever since I joined Shinobi Legends, my first role-play site, which was either in 2004 or 2005, so it's been a long time since then; which I've joined Spirit Rebellion, Legend of Bleach, Naruto Revolution, and Akatokiyami of course in the time frame and span. 2. Have you have ever had a high rank character, faction leader, or held a position of power before?Never a faction leader, but I've played a high ranking character many times, and if considering Staff a position of power, I'm staff on NR and used to be a part of the staff of AK and SR some time ago as cash/item mod, I believe. 3. If so, for how long? If not, leave this blank.Well, on Spirit Rebellion, I had my Arrancar [Presta] throughout majority of the site's existence; then at the beginning of Akatokiyami, I had Akuhei as a division Taichou, then Riodurrow as Vasto Lorde [which I don't recall if that was high-ranking or not at the time], followed by Akuhei as a Vizard before this reset. So I've had a high-ranking character for a couple of years, I suppose. As for being staff on NR, it hasn't been a year yet. 4. Have you ever quit AK before or gone on a long inactivity period?Yup, mostly during school season -- mainly during finals and midterms, I let everyone know I'm pretty busy and swamped with papers, studying and the like. School is usually the reason as to why I'll be busy. I think back then I 'quit' AK, but I didn't really leave, so... yeah. I would say the longest I've been inactive would be like a month, if anything. 5. On average, how many days/hours can you be on a week?I'm more of a nocturnal person, so I tend to be on later as opposed to the morning; I also usually wake semi-early to help my mom around the house, and I think when I find a job, I'll be working throughout the morning and day, so I'd say I can be on in the evening, probably, for a good couple of hours; saying 5-6 hours, maybe a little more. I like to actively check the site on my phone though to see any changes and what not, so I tend to be lurking majority of the day. 6. Why do you want a high rank?I would like a high-ranking character because I want to help broaden and contribute to the site's role-play as much as I can, which means with a high-ranking character, I could help administer jobs and perhaps missions to those within a division, interact with those within the division and outside, such as those within the Rukongai and hollow -- considering that the fifth division serves as the front-lines. I would rather not be limited to specific people, but interact with everyone entirely, which I feel I could do that with a high-ranking character. Also, I enjoy being in a position of power. 7. How are you going to help keep the faction and the site active with this character?I will do my best to help promote activity through missions, role-play that's fun and stimulating, and in general, be as encouraging as possible. I've always enjoyed instruction and lessons, so with the hopeful position, I could teach those about combat and the like, basically provide any help that I can to an individual. I want people to think of me as a guide, someone that they could go to if they need help with something, because I want to provide them the tools they need to improve -- that is, if they're looking for that, specifically. I also want to provide a comfortable, respectful outside environment for those role-playing with me, so some people can look up to and see my good intentions and promoting of role-play; even if the role-play itself depicts hostility, fighting, friendship, etc. 8. Please provide a sample RP below, between three to ten paragraphs, using a Bleach themed setting. It can be about whatever you want as long as it is not vulgar, offensive, or graphic. This is a sample of what my character could be like. Apologies to those in advance indiscreetly involved if I didn't hit it right on key! Along the fragments of time, the Shinigami amassed a plethora of books, which some neatly occupied the shelves of the major attractions within the library; but to works of literature that didn't strike appeal, win the hearts of many, and-or were deemed simply too vile or lewd to read, their shelves often appeared cluttered, dusty and untouched. Even still, the library contained within the third division housed a variety of genres, which its members presumably took pride in collecting, and altogether keeping the place tidy and organized. One section often tampered with was, but of course, romance. Shinigami-romantics purged the shelves of well-written romance novels, ridding the wooden bookcases of classics; but some Shinigami -- take secret writer 'pseudonym', for example -- littered the pristine-appearing shelves with atrocious things. Luckily for those of purity, that specific self-published and often disregarded writer, hardly made his/her big break without the works of advertisement. Hell, the library didn't even know that within its directory were books purposely stuffed onto shelves, that neither attained approval or merit with the bosses running the show! However, there was perhaps a few who stumbled upon the taint... and so began the descent to perverseness for the 'front-line' Captain!
" Hm... this book might be a good read..." A petite woman dressed in a shinobi-styled shihakushō muttered between the onyx-shaded fabric that shielded the lower portion of her alabaster face; swiping the 'horrid romance novel' curiously off the shelve with her left hand. Pumpkin-colored oculars eyed the object down intensely, noting the 'originality' of it all. Heck, being Taichou of the fifth division, many wouldn't categorize her, a 'war mongrel', as some divisions have named them, a reader; and a one for romance, at that! Plus, even the shortest people, like she, could pack some serious power into one punch! So it was often ideal to expect the unexpected, tread carefully into a fight, but more-so to the point... not judge a book by it's cover. Unless you wanted your ass handed to you on a platter...
Giving a quick, respectful nod toward the librarian on duty, Kōtonī awaited for the employee to finish the 'renting process'. However, the short-stature of a woman tilted that head to the side, causing the purple-strands of loose hair to fall to the side of her face once she heard the peculiar news. "Strange... I've never heard of this book before... must be a part of the newly acquired collection that we have yet to 'register'." The chubby, yet adorably-proportionate male stated in an almost squeaky voice, before handing the book back to the woman. Kōtonī turned and darted off, waving to the shinigami from behind the shoulder. She needed to return to that fighting pit as soon as possible, before her members and higher-authorities alike realized that she was missing while on-duty... and haori-less at that! That Kōtonī, lost on the path of life...!
Sweetly succulent lips parted so that a low 'phew' could escape her maw in an expiration of air as the woman simultaneously plopped down onto the comfy chair within the confines of her office. Seemingly, Kōtonī had sneakily prevailed with an unnoticeable return! Chuckling a bit to herself at her own endeavors, the woman had just the slot of time to relax, unwind, and well, read! With a slight push off her heels, the chair spun so that she faced the tranquil view beyond the windowsill, deciding to reject any unwanted attention that likely burst through the door; at least, for now. Opening the 'forbidden' book, it almost looked as if a bright light shone upon her features as her eyes began to indulge in the written information. Seconds turned to minutes, before the woman curled up on the chair; bending her knees so that they stood upward and her feet could rest on the edge of the chair's seat as she slouched lazily against it. Whilst her hands held the book, fingers tracing the edges of the novel, her orange-orbs scanned the contents, widening in utter shock. "A passionate kiss, followed by... that? He... what?!" She muttered to herself in disbelief, coming to the realization that she had, in fact, picked up a smut book! Sweat trickled down her brow before her face flushed a bright crimson red; luckily semi-concealed from the fabric surrounding the lower portion of her face. Her slender digits fidgeted, twitched, even, at the discovery and her pearly-whites clamped tightly down upon her lower lip. Her heart pounded violently against her chest, unsure as to whether she was ashamed of reading something like this, or perhaps intrigued by this erotic romance novel. Yet, she couldn't put the book down... So, she kept reading... hoping to be undisturbed in her downward spiral to impurity!
Though, as duties often brought reality, the woman's office -- once silent and 'awkward' in the air -- had a visitor: the lieutenant, who invested his own time into sun-bathing, being shirtless, and rubbing lotion on himself pretty much daily. He notified the woman of the prospective students that had arrived for a personal demonstration of fighting, not forgetting to ask if he had managed to cover his entire upper frame with the lotion. However, he incessantly continued to pester her about it, causing her to get slightly irritated; to which she turned from her chair and pointed to a random blind spot, stating dryly, "You missed a spot." Squealing in terror like a little school girl, he darted off to apply a second coat, leaving the Captain to peace once more. Well, what peace, now?! For when he had entered barely clothed, the perverseness of the book had consumed her. She couldn't get her mind out of the gutter, so it was a great weight off her shoulders when the half-naked man left the room! After knowing the man for a long time, just this one occasion had his lack of clothes disturbed the woman; and it was all thanks to secret writer 'pseudonym'!
She gave herself some time to recollect some composure, stowing the novel away in her drawer, but careful to make sure it was locked; just in-case the man decided to snoop around later while she was attending to the children! Running her slender hands through her purple-hair, the woman shook her head, huffed and departed the room with a slightly calm, slightly flustered disposition. It was as if chills ran down her spine, and sad but true, secret writer 'pseudonym' spurred an addiction she didn't know she possessed: one for erotic romance novels. Oh, the taint! The shame! The horror!
Horrible romance novels! Secret writer 'pseudonym' strikes again! Terrible, but the end of something old... and the beginning of something new.[/blockquote]

As one application was posted last minute, I will not have a decision ready in the next two minutes to complete the 24 hour mark. However, when I have reached a decision, I will post it here.

[Congrats]The winner for our final auction (after almost an hour of debating and writing out pros and cons sheets between myself and Cain) is Court! The Fifth Division Taichou spot will be removed from the Open Ranks thread. As no one applied for the last two Arrancar spots, they will still be listed as open, but people applying for those in reg will still have to fill out the auction form.
Thank you to everyone who participated!
I will start checking over registrations tomorrow; look forward to RP soon!
