[bgcolor=0F4D92]The library was a place that no one in the Third Division could possibly forget. The wonderful place full of all kinds of books, from fiction to information, with thick and and thin ones, and those that stand out in the middle. Organizing these books would seem to be a bother for most people, as the bookcases stretch out well above the people, as even the tall captain of the division herself would need some kind of ladder to reach up to the top.
But someone who found the organizing of the books to be fun was Tenba Gensou, who was ironically the shortest person of the entire division. And as the narration mentioned her, she entered, arming herself with a cold expression. The day had been weird up until this point, and all she wanted to do was to get back to work. How was it weird? Well, they were going to re-decorate the garden for some reason.. or so Gen told herself. It was an act of denial. After noticing this, she was given orders to close off the division until further notice. As this was done, Gen found her way into the large library, ready to blow off some steam with a new book. She walked along the halls, searching with a focused stare.. until she found what she wanted.
"Argh.. it's all the way up there..", she mumbled to herself, looking up to a shelf at the top, as a small book sat there, waiting for her. She turned her gaze to the left, and then to the right. Nothing. No ladder to be found. What a pain. Taking matters into her own hand, she took a firm grip on the shelf she could reach, and started to pull herself up. That's right. This was a challenge. And she was going to overcome it. By climbing. In no way or thought did she think to walk around the corner to get the ladder there. No-no. There were 5 steps too many.
Besides, the book was mocking her. What a douche.

Bothersome work is bothersome. Trouble found Genjitsu on a regular basis, though this is largely just his own thoughts on the matter and whether or not it was true came down to his own actions in certain situations, and lets just say that he wasn't an expert. He could be easily distracted, or too goddamn lazy to do a thing about - the problem/work at hand - it.
Moving on, he'd magically found his way into the library, as was customary to someone like him, he thought. He wasn't sure himself... Enough of that, he was here now, so he'd just have to stop complaining and perhaps find a book to read to kill time, at least till he was hungry. Food normally got him moving.
His unnatural timing had it so that he made it just in time to see something he'd find amusing. From what he could sense there was someone on the other side of the bookcase, that much was certain and ultimately, he turned the corner to see what or who it was. To his own disbelief, a familiar face popped up. It took a moment for him to register what was going on, and when it finally clicked he was a little taken aback, but it was indeed amusing.
"What're you doing, idiot?" said Genjitsu playfully, his head angled questioningly, a stupid grin on his face. Deep down, he'd hoped she'd be startled and fall down, to provide him some amusement. He quietly noted he'd seen some ladder on his way to this specific spot, what luck.

[bgcolor=0F4D92]"What're you doing, idiot?"
The familiar voice of her younger brother proved in-effective to bring the girl down, as she stared down at him for a brief moment, observing him. "Isn't it obvious? I'm picking pears in an apple garden." A cold reply, as she looked up and continued to climb. Just for the hell of it, her hand moved out to the side, and pulled down a large book towards her younger brother.
She moved on, making her way to the book she wanted. She grabbed it with her hand and proclaimed.. "Book, line and sinker." As always, a cold and bad joke, which would either serve to lighten or bring down the general mood of the area. She jumped down, hoping to land on her feet like a cat without a jelly sandvich on it's back, or a ninja from a fictional novel. Instead, she landed.. on her face, the book she held flying off to the side.

As she didn't fall, he was disappointed. Yet that disappointment was short-lived, his attention wrought from him yet again to something shiny on the floor, but not before he replied to her sarcasm. "Fantastic." he would replied, short but only for the wanting of investigating the shiny object that caught his eye. Moving just in time to evade the book aimed at him. Of course he turned round to see what it was, first eyeing the book then his sister. He scoffed and moved on.
Picking up the object, finding that it was of no importance, and not exactly a spectacular find either, he tossed it aside. Returning his attention to his sister, she'd found the book apparently, and jumped down only to land on her face. In this situation, he hopped over her to grab the book instead of helping her up first. Oh! and in the commotion of finding the shiny object, he'd completely ignored her bad joke.
"What were you thinking?" he asked, curious to know what had got into her. As for the book? He didn't pay attention to it or its content.

[bgcolor=0F4D92]"With something you lack. My brain. You see, I have done this several times before." The young girl seemed harsh to her younger brother, but he was used to it. She stood up, brushing dust off her clothing. A thought ran through her head, as her hands brushed off the final traces of dust on her. "They really need to clean up in here.. "
She looked around for her book now, trying to see where it went. As she looked, she saw a small shiny object on the ground too, but then.. "You have it? Give it back. Or I'll be forced to give you the older sibling treatment." The book was in her brothers hand, the lazy prick. As she treatened him, she grabbed the nearest book with one of her hands, ironically being a book about peace and love, as she held a tight grip around it. However, her facial expression remained the same, it kept that serious look in her eyes.

"Yeah, yeah." he replied, a 'wave' of déjà vu flooded over him, had he heard this all before? Probably. He was as used to her harsh attitude as he was used to sleeping during the day. He would dangle the book in front of her without much resistance, regardless of being threatened. Was he used to it, or just that scared of her wrath? Thinking about it momentarily, it was the former, lest he have his dignity muddied.
"Take it, I'm not giving it to you." He thought he might as well take a small interest in the book, and what she wanted with it. Whether she was serious or not he didn't care, even if she looked it. "What d'ya need it for, you bored?"

[bgcolor=0F4D92]"No." "A rough day, that is all. And now I just want to relax with a new book."
The girl reached out and grabbed the book, letting go of the other book as she did. The title became clear as she pulled it to her, the title being something you would no expect from a person like her. "Rasen no Yuusha" were the title, the text in yellow as the book itself was covered with green, which was a book about a heroic man using the powers of spirals to save a fictional world and his wife from destruction. A fairly unknown book, but then again, Gen did read everything. She looked at her brother for a brief moment, their eyes meeting in a quick lock before the gaze turned to the side.
"S-So.. how goes it?", she said, her head turned to the side. She had just heard about her brothers promoted to the Fourth Seat ranking, however, as it was known, Gensou herself was a Third Seat. "Are you keeping up with your duties?"

She took the book, good. Who'd read such a silly book with a silly title? She would of course, and he knew that first hand. His sister read anything, unlike Genjitsu himself, who didn't. At any rate, he had his answer, "It sure sounds rough, landing on your face and all." he replied, Genjitsu was never going to let her live that down, at least till he forgets what just happened. But her quick glance and subsequent turn to the side raised more questions, was she embarrassed about the book, or still being introvert? Surely she could be able to have a normal conversation with him... or perhaps not? Well, whatever.
"Uh, fine I guess. Same old same old." said Genjitsu, systematically. He'd moreover respond to the same type of question of how he was with that, due to the fact that it was normally how it went in the long run. He gave her a puzzled look, one that seemed to say 'did she really ask such a stupid question?' luckily for him, it didn't last too long. "I am, somehow." he answered reluctantly.

[bgcolor=0F4D92] She seemed eager to leave now, her book now clutched to her chest as she stared at her brother. Hell, his reply even seemed to take forever to her, so as soon as he would open her mouth, she would interupt him, giving off a rude manner that her brother would recognise within seconds.
The voice, sounding a bit agitated, asked him simply, "Are we done here? I wish to leave with my book.". To give a way a clear message, she tapped her foot in a un-rythmic manner, looking at him with her regular facial expression.I'm sorry I took so long replying/it being short as hell, but I really had problems thinking of what to reply.

Genjitsu shrugged, then nodded. They were done there. He'd wander off on his own way, prey to the myriad of distractions that popped up in the form of work and other members of the division who were less awkward to engaged in conversation with for him, leaving Gensou to go about her own business.
As it has been over three days, Genjitsu as been exited due to the posting activity rules which can be found here. [ link] In addition, his points will be halved. Since only two people were in this thread, it is now over. Thread Rewards: Gensou - 5 RP
Genjitsu - 2 RP (4/2 for being exited for lack of activity) Points added and thread locked.
