I play drums for a recently signed band on We Are Triumphant Records. The band is called FREAKS. I figured I would share our music with everyone here because I like it, and figure at least one of you is bound to like it as well. We just finished up our album a few weeks ago, and the full release should be out in Hot Topic, Best Buy and other retailers. But for now, I can only show you the ones we've got on our YouTube. Four of the songs are on the album, and the others on the page aren't. The songs that are on the album are: "Bastards", "If Only I Could Focus", "She's Broke, Not Broken", and "When We Touch". I hope you enjoy listening. Any comments for feedback would be cool. Of course, you are more than welcome to show your friends too! www.youtube.com/user/MrWesleycordova/videos?flow=grid&view=0

Alright, so after listening to these via my phone rather than computer, so yeah, crappy sound quality on my behalf, I have to say I really enjoyed the songs. My favorite out of all of them is 'She's Broke, Not Broken' though I also really like 'If I Could Only Focus'.

I'm a little sleepy, and I'm definitely no music critic, but you asked for opinions, and lemme tell ya, I'm an opinionated bastard. Lemme give it a shot, if you don't mind. Bastards - Nice, real heavy, damn hard. Only thing I gotta say here is the vocals were hard to catch, though it could just be my headphones. Maybe dial up his channel just a touch, to bring the vocals a little more into the understandable range? Sounds hella good, either way. Props here. She's Broke, Not Broken - This is hot. Comes in easy, stays even, vocals draw you in to hear what's bein' said. The ambiance works well. I'd almost call this some Pink Floyd shit but there isn't that one gratingly high instrument that I forget the name of floating around the background. Doubleprops. If Only I Could Focus - I actually don't have anything to say here. Real airy, real... like, ambient. Good bar song. Incidentally, couldn't bring myself to focus... so I guess I know your feel? Those were the only three I got to right now, but so far, so good.
