Jumping on the bandwagon, with a subject that, perhaps, doesn't have broad appeal...but shut up. As with the other threads, it's just speculatory and for fun, not to upset. So don't be. If you don't want to be included, PM me to let me know.
Deity: Loviator; also known as "The Maiden of Pain" and The Willing Whip"
Description: Loviatar is a cold-hearted bully, calculating and despotic; she is the master of inflicting physical and psychological suffering.
Portfolio: Hurt, Agony, Suffering, Torment, Torture
Dogma: The world is filled with pain and torment, and the best that one can do is to suffer those blows that cannot be avoided and deal as much pain back to those who offend. Kindnesses are the best companions to hurts, and increase the intensity of suffering. Let mercy of sudden abstinence from causing pain and of providing unlooked-for healing come over you seldom, but at whim, so as to make folk hope and increase the Mystery of Loviatar's Mercy. Act alluring, and give pain and torment to those who deserve it most or would be most hurt by it. The lash, fire, and cold are the three pains that never fail the devout. Spread Loviatar's teachings whenever punishment is meted out. Pain tests all, but gives strength of spirit and true pleasure to the hardy and the true. There is no true punishment if the punisher knows no discipline. Wherever a whip is, there is Loviatar. Fear her — and yet long for her.
Reasoning: As anyone who knows Aki would tell you, she does love causing pain on a whim, be it physical or psychological, to many in the box.
Deity: Zagyg, also known as "The Mad Arch-mage"
Description: Zagyg's appearance varies, though he is usually garbed in blue and silver. As a mortal, Zagyg was a short, heavyset human with round, often flushed, face.
Portfolio: Humor, Eccentricity, Occult Lore, Unpredictability
Dogma: Zagyg promotes "enlightened neutrality and uncertain humor" everywhere. He believes it incumbent to afflict his jokes on all he meets, preferably in a way that leaves them wondering for some time afterwards. He never creates a puzzle unless it has some solution. He continually searches for odd bits of arcane knowledge and occult lore, and his followers do the same. He frequently changes his habits, believing that predictability is the bane of creativity and wit.
Reasoning: Crazy lives up to his name in action and speech, and even the characters he makes, to the general amusement of other AKers.
Deity: Gruumsh; also known as "One-Eye", "He Who Watches", and "He Who Never Sleeps"
Description: Gruumsh appears as a powerful orc with one eye. A figure of fury and driven cruelty, Gruumsh rules his pantheon with brute power.
Portfolio: Orcs, Conquest, Strength, Survival, Territory
Dogma: Gruumsh teaches his followers that the strong are meant to rule and the weak are meant to be crushed, their flesh rended and their blood spilled, their bodies killed or enslaved, because purging the world of weakness is what is best for all. Slavery is usually only a brief reprieve before death. Runts and cripples are more than just a burden on society, but a sign of Gruumsh's disfavor, marked by their weakness for elimination. That which does not kill an orc only makes them stronger.
Reasoning: Katsu is fighter, through and through, and loves chances to show off his strength (or just destruction in general). He certainly seems to embody Gruumsh's dogma.
