note Past Thread, Fourth district, 1995. Anémos with his tall and muscled visage strode out into the fourth district eagerly and with purpose. His spear was worn on his back with a cord tied around it just tight enough to keep it in place but also so that it could be easily taken off. The heat of the day and just cause its how he liked, caused him to wear his kimono around his waist, exposing his upper body. As he meandered around the entrance he had come through he quickly was hit with the general smell of the fourth district; Death, pestilence, and rot, let alone the sounds that quickly followed of whores plying their trade, women and children screaming either from pain or pleasure, it didn't matter, Anémos was already uneasy. He would lean against the right side of the wall that was present when one came through the gate, his spear having been removed as it was propped up next to him as he had begun inhaling deeply to absorb all of the sickening smells and noises of the area so that he couldn't be distracted by them when he carried out their mission of cleaning up the trash. The day was quite beautiful despite its heat, the emptiness of the district coupled with the abandoned and destroyed buildings gave it a sort of... joie de vivre about it in the sense that it could not be contained, it continued to spread, each passing day the district became worse, and even more void of life. The fourth district truly offered a look at how great Anémos had it now, considering this was where he grew up, where he came from, what he knew. If only he had been born in the third district, perhaps his mother would have lived through childbirth, or his father wouldn't have been a drunk gambler and perhaps... he would have never been a gladiator nor slave. But none of that mattered now as Ani had a job today and needed to refocus. Anémos closed his eyes as he opened up his small sake gourd and took a drink while waiting for the others to come. Their job would be tough but it needed to be done. He and who ever else willingly decided to aide in the endeavor were to enter the fourth district and clean up the bandits and hollows that they could. Anémos knew his position within the group laid as defender and would carry out his job to the fullest but he hoped at least a first and second division member would be present.

Indeed the day was a beautiful one, and it was especially picturesque out on his tribe's settlement, smack dab in the Wastelands. It would confuse a normal man, to see such such a beauty in the heart of such filth, but for them it was just life. Though they are medium in force, they are a fierce bunch that endevour a much harsher reality, fending off constant attacks, scouring for a source of fresh food. Ubaga rises from weekend slumber into an upright sitting form, the light was casting inward but ceased just at his gut. After a moment, when his eyes adjust to the blinding light, he gets up and walks out from his cave. The set up was a mountainside that had previously been home to a nest of hollow, on it's side are numerous openings that lead inward. And because his was at the very top, he stands at the apex's edges with a view casting mildly over the Wasteland and entirely over his Uncle's tribe. Normally the Chief has the cave overlooking at the top, but because the previous Chief was that of Ubaga's father, and because Ubaga's father died in that very cave, he laid claim to it.
When seeing the Warchief, his older brother Jerax, patroling down by the borders, he pinches his bottom lip and whistles to him before starting down the side of the rock formation. Ubaga arrives quickly with a brief hug, greeting him with a goofy smile, "Good morning brother! It is good to see you."
Playfully, but roughly, Jerax smacks the side of Ubaga's head and says boisterously, "How many moons has it been brother?!"
Ubaga growls and says, "Too many," while throwing a left hook toward his gut.
Easily shifting to the side, Jerax manuevers around Ubaga and in the same movement he counters by hooking a finger around one of the many circular bone piercings littered on Ubaga's face, giving him a strong tug as to drag him away from the crowd of kids gathering around their small brotherly tussel. "OW! Damnit, let go!" Ubaga wimpers as he tumbles along, wincing and all as he tries keep up.
"You need to take these out brother, you resemble an abomination."
"Brother, remember the trip we talked about? To that place?"
"Yeh?"
"We're going now, you don't need to pack. What you have on your back is fine, you'll only be there for today. As we discussed before I took my slumber a couple days ago."
"....." Jerax just nods in reply before nodding the direction of the site's secondary exit. As the two begin to head away to the exit, they look around for their Uncle, whom should still be asleep. Approaching the makeshift guard post, Ubaga says, "We're going out to survey the land, a couple of Hollow were sited stalking the mid-grounds. Just need to make sure they don't nest." The two tall, dark skinned men nod briefly and stood aside, allowing the brother passage. Once exitting the settlement, they began to converse once more. Mostly to pass the time, but Ubaga knew his brother was nervous about setting foot on 'taboo' land. Though it was hard to encourage his older brother, he makes the effort. Aftera couple hours they arrive at the Fourth's tattered walls, and slip in through the nearest entrance. It was around this area that Ubaga spots a Shinigami leaning against a wall on the path they were on. When passing the man, Ubaga gives him a nod, "Hello." Ubaga was nothing like his brother. The tower. This man stood at his side and stuck out like a sore thumb, stanidng a clear foot taller with a thicker muscle tone, bearing clothes akin to the 4th's dwellers, tattered, old cloth that was extremely worn. Ubaga on the other hand, was wearing this exotic looking bone armor that was complimented by these thick, pocket-litered pants. The only preferance in apparel they shared was a lack of shoes. As the two brothers head down the area, they could honestly been mistaken as bandits or rebels.

Zane groaned loudly as he made his way through the Fourth District, absolutely despising having to come to the very district. He continued to groan as he looked around the disgusting mess of a district. The Shinigami shook his head and drew his mask from a pocket and placed it over his face to cover his nose from the smell. The whole district didn't stink, but the particular are that Zane was in did. Really bad. Like someone threw a pair of sweaty gym socks in a blender with a carton of rotten eggs and splattered it on the ground. Zane continued to walk, not even sure why he decided to come to this district anyway.
Zane stopped in place when he noticed a man who resembled a Rukon citizen speaking with a Shinigami. A Shinigami he wasn't particularly used to seeing prior to this one incident. Zane shrugged it off and moved toward the group in order to introduce himself to his fellow Gotei member.. or at least attempt to. He didn't seem to be in the chatty mood and so Zane just leaned against the same building that he did, waiting to see if the man said anything to him.

Anémos was just minding his business when the most peculiar man came right up to him, being cautious but not overly so he picked up his spear and moved into a defensive stance as he uttered, "Who are you? What are you doing here?", he would not relax from his postion until the man answered.
Immediately Anémos noticed the dark skin, and bone peircings riddling the mans face, not that he was scared of or sickened by them, but in fact intrigued as to why someone would go through all of that to look a certain way. Albeit working out had the same effect so perhaps he wasn't one to judge.
Within moments another Shinigami came bursting into the scene to which Anémos relaxed only slightly as he said to him, "Anémos Polémos, Fifth Division, Sixteenth seat. And you?". Anémos knew it wasn't an exactly friendly response and so he relaxed himself regaining his calm composure. What had made him alert at first was the sudden appearence of the unique rukon, who mag or may not be his enemy.

Ubaga was merely passing but when the Shinigami takes a stance, it startles him and causes for him to stop his gait and back up a few feet. "Whoa, there's no need for hostile action. My name is Mr. Yammakoshi and I run the BBQ Shack up in the Third District, I'm here in the Fourth today to scout the area and make a map of it's layout. What I am doing is of no harm to you, nor these poverty-struck citizens of the Fourth." Meanwhile, while Ubaga whipped his silver-tongue around, his brother, the other dark skinned man, was very off. He did not like how this Anemos fellow was adressing him and his brother. And so Jerax leers ominously an Anemos and Zane, waiting for a sudden movement to arise from either the two. Ubaga on the other hand was slowly coming out of his startled state, trying to relax from the built up tension. Though that is when he realizes that his brother is on edge and so he leans over casually and whispers in his ear, "They're authority around here, they only question us because it is their job brother. They mean us no harm, so relax and we'll be on our way shortly."
Ubaga leans back into his previous position, clasping his hands together in unison of saying, "Apologies, erm -- what was it? Anemos of the Fifth Division? You and your comrade, stop by the old Q'xaeu BBQ any time you feel like it. Two meals on the house! Okay, okay. Good then, bye now." Ubaga then grabs his brother's wrist and hastily pulls him away from the Shinigami, leading Jerax down the pathway they originally were heading down.
Totally not fishy. almost every post should have an edit tag because of my horrible ability to locate grammar/spelling errors, i'm sorry and I will try my best to not edit my post more than five minutes after it's posted, ,-, I miss spell check~

Zane would simply stand and observe as Anémos spoke with the Rukon member, raising a brow in question as to the antics of the two. Zane's gaze shifted back toward Anémos and he replied to him, "Zane Grinpiers. 13th seat of the First Division.", though it sounded a bit muffled beneath his mask. Zane seemed to sense the tension in the air around them and his right hand dropped to the handle of his Zanpakuto which rested so easily across his belt line just inches above his tailbone. Although the two Rukon men had departed, Zane refused to ease up and kept his hold on his blade. "I don't trust them. Perhaps we should follow them and see they are up to. You in?, Zane said aloud when the men left, guessing that the two couldn't be trusted as far as he could barely throw either of them.

Having been apologized too and after having Zane introduced himself, he spoke gently to the Rukon man, "Thank you sir. I apologize for pointing my spear at you.", then as he watched the two men walk away, he would turn towards Zane and close his eyes fkr a breif moment. Anémos slowly eased up as he stood straight his spear parallel with his body, "Yeah... Let's...", taking only a moment to ponder the situation he flexed a little and stretched before nodding to Zane to say lets go. Anémos not wanting to take a second more strode out after them as fast as he could hopping to make and keep pace. Hopefully Zane could keep pace with him because Ani was not concentrating on him so he wouldn't know if he fell behind or got lost.

After gaining sufficient ground he releases his brother's wrist and he begins talking, "Jerax, take a look around us and tell me what you see. Do you see people whom look like us?" His brother was at this point casting his gaze around the crowd as the two walked. It is when he's doing this that he spots the Shinigami tailing hastily behind. "No, you do not see people like us. It will be a hard adjustment period for you, Jerax, but you wanted this." Ubaga says in reply to his own rehtorical question.
"Yeah, but if my little brother can handle the taboo land, then I can too." Jerax comments as he ponders on telling Ubaga about their tails.
"Okay then, I need to speak with you about today's objectives." Ubaga takes out a blank, rolled up scroll and hands it to his brother. Afterwards he says, "First of all, I did not lie to those men, we are going to be making a map. But no ordinary map, this will serve as a tactical map, I will be marking any and all hostile nests or hideouts in this area. Right now, we're in the shambles of a barely standing District, it is what is around the garbage that lies a world not to different from the Wasteland." Ubaga pauses for a moment, casting his gaze over toward his brother whom seem to be taking his sweet time replying. It was odd, like he was being quiet. Normally when his brother is nervous, he talks would stay quiet and try to focus and other things.
"What's on your mind, Jerax?"
"What? Nothing, Just taking the scenery in.. it's absolutely dreadful here brother. How can Rukon Citizens allow other to be subjected to such a filth? It's disgusting.. but no, uhm, you were saying something about tactical map, area overran with Hollows?" Jerax mouthfuls, glancing back behind him to keep track of the tails, trying to make it appear as if he was looking at someone who just passed by him.
Thrown off the trail, he replies to his brother, "Oh, no. I agree with you whole-heartedly, there needs to be a system put in check so Districts do not fall into poverty like this. It is a shame, I know. And yes, that's the jist of our first objective. It's a much smaller piece to a much larger puzzle."
"Puzzle?"
" A map will provide a plan of attack, a map can provide the element of surprise, but most importantly, combine those two and a map can give you the direction to steer a fight in your favor, even before it's begun. The puzzle is a general plan, and this is a piece that will hopedfully ensure it's success.
"Uhh, sure, okay. Whatever you say brother. Oh, and one more thing."
"Yeah? What's that, Jerax?"
"We're being tailed."
"Huh?" he says as he looks behind them, catching sight of the two men they conversed with earlier. "Shit."

Zane grinned and did a few squats before he began to follow behind Anemos, but only by a few inches. He kept his right hand rested on his hilt, just in case things got messy now. Zane began to fall back a few inches more as he changed from a straight run to a zig-zagged 'hop' of sorts to maneuver himself behind the other man. Zane began to ponder what the other two men could be thinking about when they would see them following after them. "Yo, Sixteenth! What are you doing in this district anyway? Division business or what?", He called out to Anemos. No reason not to engage in conversation.

Once Zane talked he looked back and noticed he was keeping pace well, and so he responded to his question,"Your not here to clean up the fourth with me? No matter, I am here to clean the fourth district up. Kill bandits and such.", he spoke loudly as they ran, so who knows who heard him.
As they got closer Ani yelled at Ubaga, "Hey! Wait! I just want to talk! Zane! Tell him I want to talk!", Ani sounded whiney during the second part and even looked pleadingly towards Zane. Perhaps these two could help him do his task.

Zane came to a skidding and sudden stop, calling out to Anemos, "Hey, Man, Maybe we should just let them go on their way, huh?", To be honest , Zane had grown tired of chasing after Rukon citizens after all. What was it that Anemos had just said? He was here to clean up the district? Good luck with that task. Zane shook his head and promptly decided that he was NOT going to assist in that chore. Cleaning this wasteland was a waste of not only time, but precious effort he could be spending.. wait.. what was Zane doing here again?

Cleaning up Hollows could wait. "Nah, let's follow him," Ánemos proclaimed, having found a new hunt. He followed after the Rukon for some distance before getting tired and heading back, leaving Zane alone in the process to do as he pleased.
Ánemos has been exited as per the activity rules. As such, his points will be halved. Since only Zane remains, the thread has been ended. Thread Rewards: Ánemos - 2 RP (4/2)
Zane - 4 RP Points added, thread locked.
