Unfortunately, Sumie never quite reached her destination. The second district seemingly had an infestation of hollow despite the presence of the fifth division members. It didn't help that Sumie had been purposely avoid patrols. Perhaps if she had stuck to the path more traveled she never would have encountered the group of hollow feasting upon the carcass of a buck, but she did.
