Far off, deep within the heart of the wasteland was Andra. Out here he stands among the emptiness. No Adjuchas, no pits, no crevices or even deserted towns in sight. Just a long stretch of red clay deposit. He kneels down and runs his hand against the surface top. Mostly rugged, but soft broken down parts with resemblance to dirt. Andra lifts a handful up and slowly turns his palm sideways, watching the material fall from his hand. "This... this is where I will begin my creation."
The Arrancar erects his figure and gives a glance about the area, "It's perfect. Not even Adjuchas venture this far. Now I just need to start the harvest." Andra grins lightly as he heads back to the carriage that brought him out here. He walks up to the horses and draws his swords, "Thank you for the ride." With a swipe from each sword he destroys their binds. The sudden removal of their straps was startling enough to cause the two horses to scatter. Andra figured he had enough animals to feed on, so why not feed the Wasteland today.. if the horses could even find their way back to any being before dying from starvation/dehydration.
The giant Arrancar then clears the cargo of the carriage's back, stacking the carcasses neatly in a pile. Arranging them big to small. Then Andra walks over to a large mound of red clay, sheathing one of his swords. He walks around the thing a few times, looking for a weak point. And after not spotting any cracks, he begins jabbing the clay with his sword at certain points that looked softer. Doing this repeatedly allowed him to pinpoint the softest spots on the structure. He takes his sword to the first location, digging his sword firmly inward with one hand. it gets only half an inch, but with a second helping hand he is able to nudge it a fully inch before back up. he takes a specific stance to grant him leverage and to further his advantage he places his grip with one hand wrapping around the side of the hilt and the other hand's palm pressing against the pommel. While applying his entire force via arms he starts using his proper footwork to press his entire weight onto the blade. He feels the blade penetrate the thick core at another inch and a half and so he backs off, sighing softly.
"Yeah, I'm going to need something more blunt next time." he comments while approaching the side of his sword. He takes hold of the hilt with both hands and much like a kid in summer with a giant wrench wrapped around a fire hydrant, he pushes. And from the point of entry, the sword begins moving and the clay starts to form cracks. He pushes just enough to edge his sword back out. Looking to his blade, he is relieved to see that aside from a little clay dust it is still perfectly intact.
Andra sheathes his sword alongside the other and takes a second to mull things over in his head. After a moment, he says, "I bet I can find some old tools in the abandoned towns back east.." No doubt there had to be pickaxes, shovels, wrenches, most likely a lot of things that were left behind. As he couldn't think of any scrap scavengers. Well, other than him of course. He gets to it, starting his long trek on the full stomach of beef. Though on his way out of the area, he passes his pile of dead animals and grabs a chicken corpse by the legs.
One for the road~
