Shi stared and promptly cocked a single eyebrow up. Pathetic hate? Since when was righteous hatred of a race that condemned him to live amongst his own race in a hellhole pathetic? Perhaps age dulled the senses and mind. Shi was willing to bet that it might be the case, and frankly, he had no desire for a false dream. Peace? That was unlikely to happen, and Shi knew why.
"Does it look like a care what you think of me through assumptions?" Shi questioned, deciding to take a subtle approach in dealing with a lack of intelligence. And that was simple; destroy the foolish plan. "Might and power ensures survival, longevity in this wasteland. This hellhole. This place is worthless beyond the grinding stone upon which we sharpen our strength and might. Beyond that, there is what to raise livestock on? Pits of brimstone? Foolish."
Shi shook his head and looked to Ryuu for a moment, boring holes into Andra through the corner of his eyes. "Ryuu, I would like to continue our previous conversation before this, untimely, interruption. Elsewhere... my den perhaps," he stated, slipping his free hand right behind his waist. "As for you Andra; you have experience yes. Or so your tongue says. But you had time to prepare, to gain resources... yet, how will we keep ourselves sharp, when the Shinigami would rather see our race die out like rats?"
He scoffed and stared up at Andra. "I seek my continued survival; with no resources, nothing but plans and ideas... frankly, I do not see myself surviving long underneath your plans," he stated flatly with a snort. "Unless you are holding back say a current stock pile of preserved food or a method by which to keep meat edible for long periods of time, you have nothing but an ambition. And an ambition does not feed countless Adjuchas."
And that was that in his opinion. "As I said Ryuu, I would like to continue our previous conversation elsewhere... if you are as talented as I failed to realize before, then we shall meet again," And with that, Shi turned and quietly walked around Ryuu, keeping his gaze fixed on Andra, not about to just turn his back on him and allow the Arrancar a free first strike.

Watching Andra give a shorter speech, Ryuu had to admit that the back and forth arguing was entertaining. It was even better than pay-per-view. Although Ryuu had no idea what that was. BUT IT WAS PROBABLY ENTERTAINING. But then Andra said the holy mother of all insults. At least to someone like Shi (based on what Ryuu knew of the arrancar). WHAT WOULD HAPPEN NEXT.
What did happen next was that Shi MADE A VIOLENT RESPONSE. But this wasn't normal violence that usually consisted of stabbing and slashing and eating the dead. THIS VIOLENCE CONSISTED OF RATHER MEAN WORDS STRUNG TOGETHER INTO SENTENCES.
Although even in this storm of VIOLENCE CARRIED OUT THROUGH WORDPLAY, there was still a small light of kindness. In this case the kindness was that Shi finally came to his senses and recognized how UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME Ryuu truly was. Not only that but he invited Ryuu to his house. UNDOUBTEDLY THERE WOULD ALSO BE CANDY IN THERE. IT WOULD BE LIKE A SLEEPOVER. Ryuu and Shi could stay up all night and tell ghost stories while eating raw internal organs. And they could do other sleepover things LIKE PLAY HOLLOW GAMES.
"Well I shall see you around Shi." Ryuu said to the arrancar as he backed away from Andra. Turning to face Andra, Ryuu then said to him with his usual lighthearted smile, "Well it was interesting to hear about your plans. As I said, If I get more interested in it then I'll help out. But for now I think I shall head out. See you later Andra." Having said his piece Ryuu then made an about face and headed off DRAMATICALLY INTO THE SUNSET. Or he would have if it had been dusk. BUT IF IT HAD BEEN DUSK THEN IT WOULD HAVE BEEN DRAMATIC AS HE HEADED OFF.

"I wasn't making an assumption, it's an observation. Now, you call this place a hellhole. I whole heatedly agree with you, Shi. However do you think that the Seireitei or Rukongai were handed to the humans and Shingami. No, they built it and made it habitable. What's your goal here? You want some of their land? Well if that's the case, then let me be the one to break it to you.. You don't deserve it. Maybe you're feeling like they owe it to you, like they exiled us, the Hollow race?"
Andra pauses briefly, allowing Shi to wrap up with Ryuu. Immediately after, he continued.
"My fellow Arrancar -- You are seeking reparations were they are not to be sought. Maybe you have not taken the time to analyze our previous stage of life, the Adjuchas stage. During this we were but animistic brutes who devoured, consumed and caused chaos. Now, do you expect the Shinigami to tame such beasts, teach them to get along? Or maybe build them a nice little city? We deserved to be fought off. However they did not create this foul land in which we, as you assume, 'rot'. No Shi, we created it. Though, the silver lining in The Wasteland are Arrancar. If we abandon it, it will remain a nest to deadly and evil beasts that seek nothing but to kill anything." Andra raised a brow at Shi, noticing that not only was he extremely cocky with his words, but pretty arrogant too. Keep locked fists at his sides, Andra continues to talk with a well-mannered tone and nearly emotionless face. "This is not a plan actually. It's more like a goal. In order to complete my goal, I need to finish a certain number of tasks. You are inquiring on if I have competed a number of these, the answer is yes. Another thing, you question the hate that the Shinigami bear toward us. I have no doubt it is thick, but you are still failing to see that they rather lose less men than more men. It's not a threat, it's a solution. We can't be exterminated and I'm more than sure the longevity of war has proven just this."
"Know this, I came to you with my hand out, not clenched fists. You wish to follow your path, you may do just as you wish. However know this, Shi, cross my path and I will kill you. Though when the cloud of hate has cleared your thoughts, and you come to your senses, the offer remains on the table for you to seize." Andra retorts lastly before taking a leave. As he turns his back, he takes a small leap to a large rock, then up to a boulder at which he jumps upward to latch onto a rocky ledge. Andra pulls himself up effortlessly and heads out of view within seconds.

Shi didn't even respond to Andra, there was no point really. No, in fact, Shi only narrowed his eyes at Andra's words. The Arrancar knew nothing of Shi's plans, his desires to take what he wanted from Rukongai; choice land where he could survive and live. There were changes to be made to his plan, he could do it through either subtlety or outright brute force. He stared at Andra for a moment, nodding to Ryuu before merely glaring.
Built it perhaps, but inhabitable his zanpakuto. His goal was to take what he desired, and ultimately to make the Rukongai suffer for forcing him to be in the wasteland. It had to be taken, work had to be put in to obtain it. He didn't give a damn about the rest right now as they didn't either, for now at least. Ryuu might be useful, so they could keep each other sharp and strong. But Andra and any other? Hell no.
Adjuchas fought to survive, ate and killed to survive, it was their way of life. For an Arrancar, to obtain continued survival and food was part of it too, but also to strive for personal ambitions. Shi was selfish, and did not deny it. But, he had much to consider, and a foolish empire in a wasteland was not amongst his considerations. Who in the hell was Andra trying to kid when he mentioned the peace treaty, not Shi. And frankly, Andra proved only one thing. That he was an obstacle, that he attempted to judge Shi as an Arrancar when before him was a decrepit empty shell of an Arrancar. An embarrassment to their race, one that talked too damn much and needed to suffer for daring to underestimate and try to ridicule Shi and his goals. The wasteland had to be abandoned anyway, it was a prison plain and simple designed by nature to kill off anyone who could not survive in it.
Shi merely stared and instead of walking off, watched Andra leave in silence. Dark twisted gears of enormous proverbial size and strength began to rotate and turn, moving other gears until an entire ancient machine of pure intelligence was awakened. Andra had crossed his path, Shi himself with his attempted ridicule of Shi's fledgling dream. And continued to offer what Shi did not want at all. He did not wish to leave in coexistence as Andra so foolishly desired in his opinion, that was pathetic. It was a mockery of what the Arrancar stood for; power, strength, intelligence, longevity and survival.
"Fool, every fox knows that you must hunt for yourself. If you grow dependent on another, then you grow weak and fat, and lose your own strength and life," Shi muttered, noting the way Andra moved and smirked to himself. He would suffer, slowly, painfully in the wasteland while Shi ripped his goal from Shinigami and Rukongai native alike.
After all, he couldn't do things alone. And frankly, wouldn't the Adjuchas so richly desire to feast on flesh that did not fight back so viciously as Adjuchas and Arrancar did?
