Appearance: Standing at about 5 foot 11 in height and weighing around 180 pounds, Biru has a wiry frame. Has brown hair which he generally keeps short. Tends to wear a light blue labcoat.
Personality: Light hearted and friendly towards others, Biru always seems to have his head in the clouds. Having a very distinct lack of common sense (and possibly sanity). Biru enjoys learning about others and their ideas. Mostly focusing this curiosity on the sciences, Biru also enjoys applying what he knows in order to create.
Always enthusiastic about not only his work but also his day to day interactions with others, Biru will generally try his best to spread that enthusiasm to the people around him.
Preferring to find a nonviolent approach to his problems (such as thinking through it or running away), Biru will only resort to fighting if its the very last option that he has. Though if the situation devolves to that point, Biru will generally refrain from pulling his punches.
History:
500 n.w: Biru is born as a result of THE SCIENCE OF BIOLOGY AND PHYSIOLOGY
750 n.w: Biru goes out on his own TO FIGHT IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE
800 n.w: Biru's parents pass away after a hollow attack.
801 n.w - Present: Biru continues to perform SCIENCE.
Being born during the split between the Shinigami and the Rukon Citizens, Biru was raised in a relatively safe portion of the Rukongai. Taking an interest in the MAGICAL WONDERS OF SCIENCE (which were later proved to just be the SCIENTIFIC WONDERS OF SCIENCE through experimentation but the other phrase does sound nicer and a bit less redundant) at an early stage in his life, Biru soon dedicated himself to the study of SCIENCE in the never ending fight against THE DREADED AND EVIL AND NOT VERY SMART FORCES (though they are more like ideals and concepts in this case) OF ANTI-SCIENCE.
Eventually moving out of the house to start his own SCIENTIFICALLY MINDED BUSINESS OF SCIENCE (and after setting the house on fire/blowing part of the house up once again) Biru continued his BATTLE FOR SCIENCE. Despite losing his parents after a hollow attack, Biru still dedicates himself to helping others WITH SCIENCE. Through research and application.

Faction Skill: Hell Butterfly Flare - A variation of the traditional Hell Butterfly that was created by the first People and carried on by the First Division, Rukon Citizens have developed the ability to use the Hell Butterfly to create a flare. The flare takes the form of the Hell Butterfly, but in the color of the user's reiatsu. It can reach up to 150 feet/50 meters into the air and shines light around it in a 3 foot/1 meter diameter. Like the original Hell Butterfly, the user has the option of embedding a short message into the reiatsu that will sound off three times at the user's max yelling volume when the flare reaches its peak.
Free Skill: Biru's HELPER OF SCIENCE (Now with 20% less explosions) - Having spent a large portion of his time researching and designing with SCIENCE, Biru is able to put his knowledge to a more practical use with one of his designs that he is able to consistently build without causing an explosion. Being a sphere with a diameter of a meter (or cube that is one meter by one meter) that floats around at the owner's command, this useful invention is able to open up and store someone's items. (Costs 50 gold and 5 rp points to create one. A person can only control 3 at a time.)

One:SCIENTIFIC TURRETS OF SCIENCE: This power allows Biru to create a floating orb with a maximum radius of 1 meter and a lens on it. Acting as a turret, the orb is able to fire reiatsu shots out of the lens (3 per post).
Two:SUPPORTING TURRETS OF SCIENCE: This power allows Biru to create a floating cube that is 1 meter cubed. Acting as a turret, this cube is able to create a barrier in order to aid in defense (Can be sustained for 3 posts with a 1 post cool down.). The barrier can have a surface area of 10 feet.
Three:LOCKED YET ANOTHER SCIENTIFIC TURRET OF SCIENCE: This power allows Biru to create a floating octahedron that is 1 meter in height and 1 meter in length and width at its largest point. Acting as a turret, this octahedron is able to fire solid projectiles by firing part or all of itself (1 per post). If only part of itself is fired, the turret is able to regenerate itself (takes a full post to regenerate up to half of the turret and two full posts to regenerate up to 90% of the turret). It is able to create up to a maximum of volume of 1 cubed meter for each shot. However Biru can only control one of this type of turret at a time.
At any time Biru can control 3 turrets. The turrets are able to move 30 meters away from Biru and must remain within unobstructed view of Biru. If a turret is destroyed it takes one full post to create a new turret.
Soul Bind
Object: Takes the form of a dagger that is 6 inches in length
Form One: Itak - Biru's first soul bind is in the form of a blade with a slight curve outwards before curving inwards to a point. It has a length of 66 centimeters.

Form Two: Crossbow - Biru's second soul bind takes the form of a crossbow. The crossbow is reloaded by pulling back on the string and sliding in a bolt (takes 1 full post to reload). Has an effective range of 30 meters and a total range of 50 meters. (Will be created with 10 bolts which will be refilled if it is unsummoned for 2 posts.)
