The day was overcast. Little sun streamed through the windows of the First Division. The building was cool, but it was a pleasant chill, not uncomfortably freezing, though a few Shinigami with lower tolerance for cold were visibly more bundled up. Others with lower heat tolerances were enjoying the comfort of the cool air.
And then there was Kabelja, sat at her desk, an array of filing cabinets situated behind her. Her office was larger than most of those of her rank, but only because her role required so much storage. The decoration could be described as spartan.
Upon her desk were two piles of papers. Kabelja was sat there, taking documents from her 'IN' tray, processing them then setting them in her 'OUT'. She had been doing this for several hours, silently working away. All in all, a quiet day.

All was quiet in the First Division, bees buzzing around flowers, white butterflies, and the occasional Hell Butterfly, fluttering through the grounds. All seemed peaceful, almost too peaceful. A soft breeze came in through opened windows of the building, leaving the interior fairly cool. The temperature was no bother to the young Yakanami. Her feet pounded against the wooden floor as she fled from upstairs, laughing heartily as she peeled around a corner. She ducked and turned to avoid others, not wanting to causing a mess of reports on the floor. Oh, how great she had gotten the Soutaicho. What a wonderful prank.
She leaned against a wall, another fit of giggles running through her form as she gasped for air, hands clutching at her stomach. This was the happiest the woman had ever been, not having to worry about stepping on her parent's toes. Chishio let out another snort of laughter, failing terribly at containing it. Little did she know that she was having a giggle fit right next to the office of the crankiest member of the First division. If she didn't leave soon, there was most likely going to be trouble. A huge fight no doubt was going to insue.

She sat, lost in the still and quiet beauty of paperwork. Each sheet was information to be logged for all eternity. Every detail would be apparent. The world would become pure data. Unambiguous and untainted by feelings, recorded for eternity, transparent as the air around us.
Though a high pitched noise emanated from outside her door. "Feelings. Pointless things."
But she had work to do. Regardless of the emotions of the unknown being, if she had business with the 19th seat, then Kabelja would assist as far as she could. The rest of the First Division avoided the corridor where Kabelja was located. She creped out everyone else, and the corridor was (intentionally) somewhat out of the way. People only came that way if they had business with her.
She finished the form currently in front of her, slid it atop the correct pile and spoke out a single word in a loud, commanding voice to the being behind the wall.
"Enter."

Outside of the office, Chishio would be found sitting on the floor, back pressed against the wall as she took in deep breaths. She felt lightheaded, giddy from all the giggles she had released as she thought about the prank she sprang upon Malik. Just barely, she picked up a stern voice from the other side of the wall, a startled look appearing on her face as she looked around for the source. "Hello?" she asked, paranoia creeping up her back.
Not seeing anyone, the unseated member got back up to her feet, noticing that she had taken a rest full of laughter right next to a office. Of course that's where the voice is coming from, idiot. But, what's an office doing all the way back here? Chishio's eyes roamed over the door for any signs of who dwelled within, curiosity getting the better of her. Her hand reached out, opening the door to find a boring looking office with a woman with fiery red hair and a look like something stank on her face.
"Who are you?" Chishio's voice came out as a sneer, not that she meant it to, but it just happened that way. Crossing her arms over her chest, she gave the older woman her normal mask of lazy boredom, waiting for an answer.

The door rolled open and in stepped a member of her division, as was evidenced by the purple one on the left side of her uniform. The right side however...was missing. Kabelja's eyes widened slightly at her appearance.
"So...much flesh. Is this how the youth of today dress? This is a uniform. We are supposed to appear as one. This modification is too far."
She sat there in her perfectly clean and creased outfit, unnerved by the brazen display of skin by her junior colleague.
"Kabelja Watson, 19th Seat of the First Division," Did she know this Shinigami? Even with her prosopagnosia, she should recognise someone wearing that attire, and with those face marks too... It also appeared that Chishio didn't know Kabelja either.
"and you are?" She stared the Shinigami deep into her eyes, a blank expression covering her face. Sitting there, monitoring.

A smirk rose on the girl's face as she noticed the old grump's reaction to her attire. It was a common one from the older looking members, and why not? It wasn't like they were going to dress that way anytime soon. It gave greater satisfaction when her parents first saw what she did to her new uniform. Chishio never cared how they felt. They only cared about their family name and trying to impress others with their history in Seireitei. All in all, something Chishio never cared about in the first place. And the reaction from the nineteenth made Chishio feel better, like she wasn't invisible.
The young woman knew for a fact that she never met Kabelja-san. She did, however, hear word of a grumpy lady who only cared for the company of paperwork. How boring, she thought, the only company being the papers of countless information. And not a doodle in any of the margins. Shame. She shifted her weight on her feet as she gave a slow, almost tired, blink to the woman.
"Yakanami Chishio, unseated. Are you the creepy lady everyone has been whispering about?" Chishio's eyes took in Kabelja's own attire. Looking just like when it was brand new. No sense of style either. Poor thing.

At that moment in the gardens of Seireitei a skylark was going among his business. The bird hopped from bush to bush, searching for something. Eventually he spotted it, and dove his head in. A moment later the head reappeared from the leaves in which it had disappeared. Between the skylark's beak, a wriggling ladybird was observed by a member of the Second Division who was enjoying his day off. A moment later, the ladybird vanished, both from sight, and from life.
Kabelja was confused by the brazenness of her colleague. Not only in dress, but in decorum. Most people would not refer to someone as "creepy" in terms of establishing identity. She pondered aloud.
"Creepy. Of or producing a sensation of uneasiness or fear. Annoyingly unpleasant; repulsive." The definition came from a dictionary. Her words were mechanical in tone. There was little inflection in her voice, no feeling at all. "Creepy is a subjective term. What is creepy to one person may not be creepy to another. It is almost certain that to someone I am creepy. However I am unaware of any whispers debating whether I am creepy or not. I apologise, but I have no idea whether or not I am the subject of these rumours. As such I am unable to fulfil your inquiry."
She blinked slightly at Yakanami-san before continuing, her intention in the monotonous tone of speech to be merely matter-of-fact in her delivery.
"Do I cause you unease or repulse you, First Division Unseated Yakanami-san? Your lack of coverage upon your right side does cause me uneasiness and a feeling of annoying unpleasantness. As such you are creepy. And you are a lady. You may be the creepy lady, but again, I have heard no whispers."
Kabelja's statement was just her being factual. She meant no insult or offence against Chishio.
"Can I provide you with any more assistance?" Kabelja pushed herself away from her desk an inch, ready to rise and get a form for Chishio if she needed it. "Though I do request that you cover up, for both my ease, and in the spirit of uniformity."
The skylark had his fill and flew up to a branch, hoping to attract a mate with his song. The Shinigami rolled out a picnic blanket and lay down, enjoying the feeling of the cool breeze upon his skin, the music of the birds floating softly into his ear.

A wave of anger coursed through the girl, her hands twitching into a fist. Her body stiffened, teeth gritting together as fire licked the irises of her green eyes. How dare this old bat tell her how to dress. Just who did she think she was, her mother?!
"Of course you repulse me, insulting me so," she growled. Her cheeks flushed a deep red out of anger, arms shaking at her sides.
"And my lack of coverage has not bothered anyone until today, you being the only one who has complained about it. In fact, do you see anything that shouldn't be showing? I am one hundred percent sure that everything that should be covered is, indeed, covered. Not only that, it allows me to be easily identified by others. And I'm not one to just blend in like you, you old cow." Chishio's right hand reached for the hilt of her zanpakuto, resting on the same side of her hip. If someone didn't intervene soon, there would be a fight.
"As for assistance, I'd like you to shut the hell up and not tell me how to dress. You are not my mother and I do not allow others to bully me around."

The junior member was becomingly increasingly brazen, far beyond what was appropriate.
"Yakanami-san, I have only made a logical discourse. I fail to find any source of insult in my words, though to respond to some of your points, whilst I am not your mother, I am your superior officer. Your conduct is unbecoming of your position. I will be writing this incident up."
Kabelja rose from her seat, retreating into the labyrinth of cabinets behind her, slowly and calmly. To say she searched for the relevant sheet would be incorrect, for the lady knew the location of each and every single document behind her, and their quantities. Kabelja merely strode to the appropriate drawer and withdrew the report form. It was only then that the red haired one saw how red the face of the intruder was. Of particular note was her hand being on her hilt.
The Nineteenth seat addressed her subordinate calmly.
"Are you threatening me? If you continue to act towards me in a threatening manner I shall be forced to call security, and this event will become much worse for you. I beseech you to attempt to calm down. We don't merely wear this uniform for identification. We wear it as a sign of unity, that we are a team. We are cllegues, do not bring force against an ally."
The administrator placed the form on her desk and watched the movements of the tattooed one, ready to send for help should Chishio not stand down.

The anger boiling through Chishio's veins caused her vision to go red. She took a step towards the old bat, right fist raised as she snarled at Kabelja, "At least I have a sense of fashion, you uptight, egotisical old goat! You think that dressing like that does you any good? Well, it doesn't. You look like a wrinkly old prune. Nothing to identify whether you're man or woman!"
Chishio stood there, standing and staring at the nineteenth seat, hoping to see a rise of anger out of her. If there was, Chishio could release the long held anger flowing through her. She tightened her fists more, knuckles going white.

" "Has the subject been acting in an aggressive and hostile manner?"
Check.
"Has the subject been alerted to their current manner and been informed that appropriate action will be taken?"
Check.
"Has the subject persisted to act in an aggressive and hostile manner?"
Check." Kabelja was satisfied that she was justified. First Division Unseated Yakanami-san was a threat credible enough to warrant the summoning of security. She raised her own fist towards the enraged one, but instead of moving to strike, she turned it over and opened her palm. Upon it lay a small butterfly, blacker than the blackest night. The small creature unfurled its wings, a new born greeting its existence, no matter how short and insignificant it may be. Though, could not the same be said of all creatures? She brought it up to her lips and spoke to it, giving it purpose. " Security to the office of the Nineteenth Seat." A flick of the wrist and the creature took to the air, flying towards the security station within her division. Hopefully someone should be on duty. But until they arrived, she would be alone with the illogical creature. Her hand darted to her hip, detaching her still sheathed blade from her uniform. Even in all this, no anger came to Kabelja. Her actions were out of duty. She was completely 'by the book' " Yakanami-san, I am clearly identifiable as a Shinigami. My gender is irrelevant. Such concerns are in the purview of the citizens of the Rukongai. Freedom is an illusion. Individuality is an obstacle to efficiency. Life is better consisting of logic and data, your wild emotions will be your downfall. I again request that you stand down. Submit and await arrest. It is the most logical course of action."

He had walking been walking down the corridor when the winged messenger had been sent out, he had heard the shouting and noticing the office he was walking toward, knew something must be up. He reached out, snatched the butterfly and intercepted the message. He frowned, and set it back on it's way. Reaching the door frame, he popped his head in just long enough to catch the last bit of what Kabelja had been saying and sighed heavily. "That shouldn't be necessary, 19th Seat Watson-san." He stepped into the room, directly behind Chishio and moved his vision from one woman to the other.
"Alright then, you two are going to tell me exactly what is going on." He stuck his index finger at Chishio, his eyebrows bunched together as his face turned into a frown. "Starting with you, Chishio-san. I suggest you take a deep breath before hand, though." His gaze then turned to Kabelija, as did his finger.
"Once I've heard her piece, and questioned her about it then it's your turn."

Turning her glare to the new arrival, Chishio's nose flared as she let out a huff of air. Upon seeing the face behind the finger, the woman's features would soften slightly, eyes falling down to look at the floor to avoid Malik's angry face. Doing as instructed, she took a deep breath, closing her eyes as she held it. She mentally counted to three, slowly letting out the held air. Doing so did curb the anger that bubbled through her body just enough that her fist lowered and relaxed slightly at her side. Once she let out the air she held, she took another short breath and turned her gaze back up at the Soutaicho.
"After pulling that prank, I ran down here and stopped to catch my breath. The old bat heard me, I guess, and told me to enter, so I did. After I asked who she was, she started preaching on how I should dress and insulted my appearance. I won't be told how to dress by some old lady who doesn't know how to to look fashionable herself." Chishio crossed her arms over her chest, glaring back at the nineteenth seat.

"Disregard my last request, situation contained."
Kabelja had reattached her Zanpakuto to her clothing right by her side upon the suggestion of her Soutaichou. He didn't deem it necessary, so she would obey. A second Hell Butterfly was dispatched, chasing after the former messenger, darting down the hallways to the security station.
The pressing matters taken care of, Kabelja gave a silent bow of greeting towards her Soutaichou as he delivered instruction. "His will shall be done."

He listened carefully as Chio spoke, frowning a bit at the mention of the prank. He had been caught in many a raining weather and even had jumped into a pond on a hot day fully clothed, but never before had his pants been so wet, he at this very moment had a soggy bottom. However that was neither here or there at the moment, he had grown used to Chio's pranks and they did add an element of adventure to the mundane. This issue of her losing her cool over being 'harassed' about her appearance.
His gaze shifted to Kabelja, observing her release the hell butterfly, no doubt to inform security not to bother. He made no mention of it and returned his gaze back to the unseated member. "I see." He answered in a softer tone than before, crossing his arms over his chest afterward. "Well, I myself don't wear the standard uniform and I helped design the blasted things, there is nothing wrong with self expression, as long as you keep yourself covered up." His eyes shot back to Kabelja. "Which she is, regardless as to how, she is still covered and able to preform her assigned duties without hindrance. That is all that matters.
"However," he took a breath and sighed giving his head a small shake, annoyed such a trivial thing had come so far. "Now I will hear Kabelja-san's side of the story. Begin."

Chio continued to glare at the older woman. She had told the truth and didn't throw in other details that didn't happen, at least she thought she didn't. Her hands moved up to tangle into her ponytail, letting out a low sigh. Her time to talk was up. Now, all she had to do was listen.

Kabelja made note of the junior member's testimony. A lot of information had been omitted from it, information pertinent to the case. Both members were subject to the Soutaichou however. The lady stood to attention as she delivered her report.
"Since clock-on I have been attaining to my clerical duties. Approximately 20 minutes ago I heard a noise emanating from beyond my door, which was at this time shut. The Shinigami standing before you," she gestured towards Chishio at this point, "requested my identity. I gave her it, and requested her own. She identified herself as unseated member Yakanami Chishio. Following up she asked me if I was, and I quote "the creepy lady everyone has been whispering about." I informed her I was unable to answer her, noting that "creepy" was a subjective term and I was unaware if I was the subject of the rumours in question, or of any rumours. I also noted that the definition of creepy is describing something that causes a feeling of uneasiness, and that her lack of coverage was causing me unease, ergo the rumours could theoretically apply to her as well. I requested that she covered up.
Following this the Shinigami identifying herself as Yakanami Chishio became aggressive and insulting, without any of the respect due for a superior officer. I informed her that I would be keeping a record of the incident." She broke her flow for but a moment to nod to the blank form upon her desk. "I iterated the importance of the uniform, not only for decency but as a symbol of unity. I also informed her that if she persisted to act in an aggressive manner then I would call security. She persisted in her manner and raised her fist at me. At that point I released a Hell Butterfly requesting security and removed my Zanpakuto from my hip. A few moments later you entered, sir."
Upon the utterance of the word "sir" she bowed towards the Soutaichou before straightening up again. As always, her uniform was immaculate.

After the Watson woman finished her piece, all Malik could do was raise both hands to his face and just shake his head. "You two.." He lowered his hands and sighed. "Really? I mean, by the people you two." What was this, preschool?!"Your stories are very similar, I'll grant you that. But to be honest, this seems to have started by your inability to have a mental block stopping your thoughts to slip form your mouth, 19th Seat Kabelja-san. While our uniforms are a symbol of what we are, they are also a symbol of who we are, hence the ability to customize them. Your views upon this, have insulted this poor girl, it's no wonder she's upset with you, regardless of the remark upon your creepiness." He paused, eyes widening a bit as he realized what he said. "Not that I find you creepy at all, you're a good officer. But your attitude and understanding of other's feelings could use an adjustment. "Noow, as you for Chi-!!| Well, so much for trying to cool things off. For he was quite interrupted by a flying Chishio, knocking Malik backward as she sailed toward her target. Kabelja.
Well this isn't going to end well now is it? Posted that last bit as per request from Chishio herself~

Just hearing the voice of Kabelja made Chishio's anger spike dangerously. She became blinded once again by a vision of red. The younger female couldn't help herself. She had to deform the face of that snobbish, old goat. Even if that meant barreling and pushing aside the form of the much larger Tanaka. Her right hand was clenched tightly into a fist, pulling back and aiming right for the middle of the nineteenth seat's face. I'll show you continued aggression! "How about you call security now, Hag!"

"Soutaichou, whilst I understand I may have been at fault and caused offence to Chishio-san, this incident could have been prevented if there were guidelines regarding what constituted "acceptable alterations" to the uniform. Then it wouldn't be up to us officers to make subjective judgements.
I am also rather insulted regarding your instructions regarding feelings. Do you not remember what it did to my brother? My parents' taught me to remove emotion. They are wild and lead to irrational action. I would have hoped that this incident would have given more sway to my arguments."
That is what she would have said, but Kabelja was unable to argue with authority. She was little more than a drone, working away. Of course, even if she were bolder, she would have still been unable to reply, as the form of Chishio vaulted over her desk. Sensing imminent danger, Kabelja once again undid her sheath from her side. The use of deadly force was still unwarranted.
As the enraged one leapt, she upset the contents of the 19th seat's desk, sending the contents flying around the room. Whilst it was mostly just forms, a rather large paperweight seemed destined for the head of the Soutaichou. Impact, if it occurred, could potentially render him unconscious for a time.
Though he was not the only one about to be hit by a blunt object. Kabelja was unable to ready her blade in time before Chishio was upon her, her fist making contact with Kabelja's face. A sharp cracking noise met Kabelja's ears. It only took a moment for her to realise what the noise was, as a heavy pain across her face betrayed what had occurred.
The impact cause her to stumble back a few feet, until she collided with one of her filing cabinets, an audible clang filling the room. She stayed there for a few moments, stunned by Chishio's punch.
It was unlikely that she could put up a very good fight. She had some skill with her blade, but it was somewhere on the floor. She didn't know where, and her vision was blurry. The room seemed to be spinning somewhat.
And as Watson stood, slumped against her cabinet, a foul taste entered her mouth. The taste of her own blood, oozing down her upper lip from her nostril. She was defenceless, open for another strike.

"Oh for the love of-" His arms shot up to defend himself, the object striking him just as he regained his balance. The impact hurt and caused him to mutter a curse as the object fell away, landing upon his foot which made him curse all the louder. "That. Is. It!" The crack could be heard from Malik as well, that being Watson's nose. Malik's arms lowered, his eyebrows drawn together in an angry scowl as he closed the gap between himself and Chishio, whom was sprawled out across the desk in a very interesting position form Malik's perspective.. (<< >> <<;"You," he would reach out to snatch her by the sash of her uniform. "Are coming with me!" He would then, if she didn't manage to wiggle out of his grip, give her a mighty yank, as hard as he could to throw her backward and unto him, so he could scoop her up and put her over his shoulder.
It was absolute insanity, but if this is what was called for then so be it. He would have order! Even if it looked like he was marching around with a sack of potatoes on his shoulder, albeit one who was flailing about trying to rip another's face off.

A wave of satisfaction flowed through her as she heard and felt the cracking of cartilage and bones beneath her fist. The red haze that had covered her eyes had faded slightly, a smirk lighting her lips. A flutter of butterflies churned in her stomach as she took in the shocked appearance of Kabelja, the blood dribbling down from her nostrils. A small chuckle escaped her lips, "That'll teach you to ridicule me!"
Her laughing would be cut short as she felt a hand tug at the back of her uniform, pulling her from the desk she had climbed over to get to the nineteenth seat. The momentum of the tug would make her tumble back into the tugger, whom just so happened to be the Soutaicho. She was too shocked to react, stumbling over her feet, and was thrown over his shoulder before she could recover. As she realized the new position she was in a blush crept onto her face, her body flailing and twisting to get out of his grip.
"H-hey! What are you doing!? This is no way to carry someone wearing a skirt!" Chishio was definitely not used to being man-handled like this, being pulled away by the arm, yes, but thrown over someone's shoulder, this was a new experience. "Tanaka-Soutaicho! Put me down!"
If the Tanaka didn't comply to her bellowing, which she highly doubted, she'd let out a huff as she place her chin in her palm. She knew exactly where they were going. Back to his office to get scolded. You should have gotten out of there. Would have saved you from all the yelling that's about to go down. Stupid.
The smile rose back to her lips as she was taken to the Soutaicho's office, chuckling again as she replayed the shocked look of Kabelja's face. Best look the old woman had made that day. She had it coming, whether it be from me or someone else. She needed to be put in her place. That fact left Chishio at ease, coming to terms with her actions. For now anyways.

As she stood there, a white and black lump dove forwards. It engulfed a smaller brown and black lump, pulling it away. The engulfed lump moved about somewhat.
"F...forms....p...p...paperwork..... I...must......get the ap...p...propriate documenta...tion."
The 19th Seat staggered. She was unable to think straight. The room seemed to be spinning.
"No...the Soutaichou may be injured..."
Whilst she had not seen the paperweight strike Malik, she had heard his curses. At this moment she had gone behind one of the many cabinets in the back of her office. It was doubtful that either the Soutaichou or the unseated could see her at this moment. But they would see a Hell Butterfly, fluttering somewhat lopsidedly, requesting a medical team to her office.
Despite her confused state, the 19th Seat still knew where every form was. It was her job, after all. Her life. And this incident would probably require a heap of paperwork. In her stupor she managed to open a number of drawers and draw out relevant forms, oblivious to any blood she was getting on them. But she didn't make it back to her desk. If they were still there, the two others may have seen a black object with a red tip fall in an explosion of white sheets, only her upper half visible, the lower hidden behind a cabinet.

He staggered this way and that as she flailed, not paying any mind to her complaints. "Behave, will ya!" He shouted at the.. Well butt that was hanging over his shoulder, upon realizing she was in a skirt his face turned a deep crimson but march he did out of the office, not looking over his shoulder to see if the Watson woman was alright, instead.. "Kabelja-san, get to the Second Division to that nose looked at. I'll check in on you later." And with that, he was out the door.. Just as the woman toppled over with a poof of paper.
And then he started walking, huffing and puffing as he went. It wasn't that Chishio was heavy, Malik just wasn't what you would call much of a lifter and this kind of 'dead weight' was starting to be a strain on him. Deciding carrying the woman up a set of stairs was out of the question, he turned into another office just down the hall from Kabelija's and dropped his luggage into a chair, and without looking at those three members in the room boomed.. "Get. Out." And so they did in a very hushed and hasty action. However they did leave the door open.
Malik fixed that by slamming it shut.
"WHAT IN THE SEVEN HELLS IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" He shouted as he turned her, his face red a vein sticking out of his neck. Oh yes, Malik was pissed. "Have you lost your goddamned mind?!" He flailed his arms a little. "You can't just go around punching people!!"

Just as they were exiting the office of Kabelja's, Chishio noticed a rustling of papers, white flying everywhere as the old hag fainted from the smack to the nose. She didn't care to tell Tanaka-Soutaicho just yet, he having dismissed the red-head as he carried the shorter of the three off to be disciplined, in a none too kind manner either. The huffing and puffing coming from the man gave Chishio some worry, Am I that heavy? Have I gained weight without knowing it? I may need to cut back on my intake of food...
She let out a squealing type noise as she was dropped into a chair, hands moving to fix her skirt from revealing anything. Her form started at the tone Malik gave to her fellow members, terror freezing her limbs into place, leaving her body rigid. Things were going to end badly for her, even if the older woman did deserve a good knock to the head.
As she heard the door slam shut, she flinched, bile starting to run up her throat. You messed up big time, Chio. There's nothing you can say that will get you out of this now. Her thoughts instantly went to her cousin, pleading to herself for him to be there now, to help her out. But he wasn't there. Wouldn't be there because Chishio pushed him out of her life.
As the silver-haired Soutaicho turned to her, her eyes moved to the ground in shame, body curling into itself to make her form smaller, to disappear and avoid his gaze. It was impossible, however, for she was the only one in the room. She had nowhere to hide this time. Had let down the one person she looked up to.
Once the yelling began, she shut her eyes tightly, fingers gripping each other tightly as she tried to keep her eyes from becoming moist with tears. Was there something wrong with her? Yes, she couldn't interact with people without blowing up into an inferno of anger. Had she lost her mind? Yes, the anger had shoved out every rational thought. She bit her lip, mumbling out a weak, wavering apology to the man. She didn't have anything to say to the man that would give her an excuse to what she did, and she knew it. She wouldn't be able to satisfy him enough to stop his yelling. Just like her family.

It takes concentration to create a Hell Butterfly. It doesn't take so much focus as to leave the bearer immobile whilst sending a message; one Shinigami had managed to call for backup whilst fending off an attacker, but it does require some effort. A Hell Butterfly flew through the corridors of the First Division, though it was erratic. Well, a corridor, for halfway down the creature collapsed and 'died', melting into a small black puddle. Kabelja lay on her carpet. Alone, unconscious, injured. She was unable to help herself, and there was no-one to call for help. [EXIT] Exit until someone finds Kabelja. If the thread ends without anyone coming to her aid, I'll write an epilogue for her.

The Soutaicho flinched upon watching Chishio's reaction, recoiling upon herself. He was filled with an instant sudden pang of sorrow for the girl. He had known that she had anger issues and yet, blew up himself when addressing them. Well done old boy, well done. Letting out a sigh, he bent to his knees as she apologized and placed his hands upon her shoulders and gave them a reassuring squeeze. "I'm sorry for shouting," he spoke softly, though his eyes still had a flare of anger and disappointment in them. though his tone wouldn't show it. "But you must know what you did cannot be overlooked this time. You've assaulted another member of this division, one who will most certainly move to press charges and as I was a first hand witness to the assault you will be punished accordingly.
"You were swayed by your emotions, and didn't think about what was going to happen to you, to your future." He let out a heavy sigh and gave his head a shake. "Are you prepared to suffer the consequences? "

As she felt his fingers curl around her shoulders, Chishio would start. Realizing he wasn't going to hurt her, the woman relaxed slightly, her hands still clenched fiercely in her lap. She couldn't meet his gaze, not when she was on the verge of losing hold of her tears. She couldn't allow him to see them, to show the scared individual she hid inside. It would make her seem weak, and Chishio didn't like the feeling of helplessness. She was supposed to be strong.
She bit her lip to keep back a choked sob. Now that it was after the fact of attacking Kabelja, the Yakanami knew what she did couldn't slide. This wasn't the streets of her childhood anymore. She let her anger control her. It was only right for her to be punished for her actions.
Was she ready to suffer the consequences of her actions? She began to shake her head, of course she wasn't ready. She'd bring a hand up to her face, wiping at her eyes and then nose as she snuffled, a weak chuckle wrapped in her words, "I don't have much of a choice, do I?" Her voice sounded nasally, she clearing it as she finally met his eyes with her own, "I'm sorry I let you down, Tanaka-Soutaicho."

Malik frowned a bit and gave her shoulders another squeeze before rising to his full height and taking a step back, crossing his arms upon his chest. "No, you haven't. You've let yourself down, you've simply annoyed me." He chuckled softly and gave his head another shake. "Until further notice you're on probation, unless Watson-san presses charges then there will be small formal hearing or inquiry, at which point your true punishment shall be handed down.
"In the mean time, you're to remain at least fifty yards from Wason-san at all times, starting tomorrow." A smirk spread across his features as he went for the door. "First, you'll clean yourself up and then you'll make sure she makes it to the Second Division alright for medical treatment. And if she isn't still a dazed mess, you'll apologize and then return to your duties until you're dismissed for the night. Understood?" His back was to her then, the smirk still spread upon his lips. He could be a bit of a cruel bugger in his own way, perhaps this was his way to get her back for the soggy bottom.
He still had to run home for a new pair for god's sake.

Chishio clenched the fist she smacked Kabelja with, the adrenaline being cut off from her bloodstream to reveal a small ache in her knuckles. Her hand would no doubt have a large bruise on it. It'll fade... Just like every other bruise you've gotten. Her eyes focused back to the ground, only a nod to show that she was listening to the words of her Soutaicho. She then rose from her seat, bowing slightly at the hips.
"Thank you, Tanaka-Soutaicho," her words came out in a sullen whisper, "I will do as you instructed and take nineteenth seat Kabelja to the second division right away. Once I know she is getting the care she needs, I will have them check out my hand before returning here." She then straightened her form and headed for the exit, brushing past the silver-haired male.
She followed the halls the two had come from, arriving back at the office of Kabelja Watson, a grimace on her face. It was going to be difficult, trying to get the much taller woman to the second division. More so knowing that the red-head was unconscious. She let out a sigh as she saw the mess of papers and blood. Face wounds were the most annoying to deal with.
Moving over the kneel next to the woman, Chishio would push Kabelja onto her side, next pulling her up into a sitting position to keep her from drowning on her own blood. "You look a mess. Wake up so we can get you to the Second." Chishio tapped lightly on the cheek of the woman, "Watson-san, I need you to wake up. You're too tall for me to carry you." How annoying...
