Because the GFJ Dilemma didn't really work, here's a modified version ripped off from inspired by the Prisoner's Dilemma and Virtue's Last Reward.
First of all, the way this game works there will be EXACTLY nine players.
Each player starts with 3 points. They will randomly be allocated to one of three groups. Each group will have a pair and a solo. The pair act as a single party and play against the solo in their group.
Each pair and solo should PM me with either the word "ALLY" or "BETRAY". The pair only gets one vote between the two of them.
If, in a group, both the pair and the solo vote to ally, then all 3 players get 2 points.
If both the pair and solo vote to betray, then no points are gained or lost in that group.
If the pair vote to ally but the solo votes to betray, then the solo gains 3 points, but both members of the pair lose 2 points.
If the pair betray, but the solo allies, then both members of the pair gain 3 points, but the solo looses 2.
In short, both members of the pair act as a single unit. Their destinies are tied.
After each round then votes and scores are declared, and everyone is re-allocated. Each round will last for at least 47 hours.
When a player has 9 or more points, they may PM me with the word "WIN". After I have received a 'win' PM then the game is over. The game may have multiple winners if more than one person PMs me with a 'win' during that round.
If a player has 0 or less points, then they are eliminated. They will still be allocated into pairs and groups, but will be unable to vote.
If in a round no members of a pair send in a vote, or a solo doesn't send in a vote, they are automatically allied. However if no members of a group send in a vote, then all are eliminated.
I will be taking the most recent vote from each party each round. Whilst I only require one vote from each pair, if I receive conflicting votes from both members in a pair, then I'll be deciding their vote via RNG.
I think that's everything... If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Otherwise, please sign-up below! ^_^
