Appearance: Kohaku has a light skin tone and his eye color is azure. His hair color matches his aura as violet, long and usually tied back; reaching his mid back and shoulder blades. His layers above and 'bangs' are medium length. He wears the traditional shinigami attire except the sleeves are cut off and he wears violet bandage wrapping on his arms. Kohaku also has a mask that he keeps tied on his sash that he uses during battle for respiration purposes. On days off, he wears a violet-purple kimono. He stands at 6'1" and is slenderly-shaped, weighing in at 185 pounds.

Personality: Kohaku is the type of person that always wants to be involved with what is going on. He is very talkative and friendly to those he interacts with. However, on the battlefield he prefers to be a support fighter that fights from a distance. When fighting in close range he likes to quickly attack and retreat using speed and stealth.
He loves to bring attention to himself by any means necessary. He also wants to be included in the things that are going on around him (even if he has to invite himself). He likes to be introduced to new people but after an introduction that is pretty much all that is needed for somebody to get to know him. He is kind, but can get annoying sometimes, but he is easily put into place by superiors. He hates being ignored. In battle, he prefers to take orders rather than take his own action. His hobbies are mixing poison and soaking in the hotsprings with his friends.
His favorite food is a bowl of cheesy noodles, and his preferred drink is lemonade. His favorite animal is an owl, but he also likes poisonous snakes and salamanders. He dislikes tuna, brown tea, cows.
History:
-Born in 1632 n.w.
-He was raised and also worked on his family farm until 1802 n.w.
-Joined the Gotei in 1802 n.w. as an unseated member of the 5th division.
-Given the 9th seat in 1887 n.w.
-Promoted to 4th seat in 1999 n.w.
-1999-2001 n.w. (current time) has retained his position and worked diligently.
Kohaku was born into a farming family within Rukon's First District. He couldn't stand the boring monotonous tasks of a farmer, so every chance he got he would sneak into the forest of the Second District to explore. During his time in the forest he acquired a useful set of skills that helped him well into his future. He unknowingly honed these skills by trying to capture animals such as salamanders and snakes. Eventually he was even able to capture winged creatures such as owls. At this time he determined that he needed an even greater challenge to pursue since the forest could no longer provide that challenge for him.
He left for Seireitei to join the Gotei. Upon arrival he was placed as an unseated member of the 5th Division. During this time he learned, became a shinigami, and was eventually accepted as an official member of the 5th Division as the 9th seat. Kohaku made sure that everybody knew him. He had a way of being able to sneak his way into most conversations. His superiors took note of this and they often shut him down, but he took orders well and he worked his way up into the 4th seat of his division.

Spirit: Rin is a girl appearing to be in her late teens. She has long pink hair that flows down to her lower back. Her eyes have a glowing pink hue, that goes along with her psychotic aura/personality. Rin is 5'7" tall and weighs 135 lbs with a slender build. Rin claims that she loves Kohaku even though she is his Zanpakuto. She tends to tease him during inappropriate times, and she tends to be overprotective during chaotic times.

Inner World: It is a vast open forest with large gaps between the trees. The forest floor is filled with greenery, but the treetops are surprisingly bare. The sky cannot be seen due to a light violet mist that surrounds the entire area, but visibility is still quite fare in a 100 yard radius.

Sealed: Rin's sealed state is that of a wakizashi. The hilt is 5.5 inches and is pink in color with a violet cloth wrapping around it. The blade is a normal shade of grey with a length of about 24 inches. There is no guard so the blade starts where the hilt ends. Rins sealed state is tied to the back of his waist sash, so when the blade is pulled it comes out at a horizontal angle behind his back.
