Name: Kusanagi, Yuna; She doesn't mind any variations, and often times encourages people to just call her Kusa, or simply Nagi.
Gender: Female
Age: four-hundred and thirty one. (431) She doesn't look a day over Twenty-three.
Reiatsu Color: Orange
Reiatsu Aura: Uncontrolled
Faction: Shinigami
Rank: Fifth Division, Fukutaichou
Appearance:
Baiken from Guilty Gear.
At about 5'6 and a half and no more than 141 lbs, Kusa isn't suppose to be the most intimidating shinigami in her division, but oddly enough there are those few odd individuals that shake in their boots when she passes by. A action that mystifies the poor Fukutaichou to no end. Perhaps it is the enigmatic persona that surrounds her at first glance? From the ominous tattered fabrics at the end of her sleeve along Nagi's right arm, to the scar on her left eye, which she purposely keeps closed despite full functionality, its a wonder why anyone finds her scary. She has long, flowing pink hair, almost always pulled up in a high pony-tail and a nonchalant smoking pipe often times hanging from her full lips. Her eyes, a light pink in color, are quite pensive in appearance, adding enigma to her overall eccentric gimmick.
How she dresses, however, is another matter entirely. Almost in laziness, or mischievousness depending on who you talk to, her shinigami outfits are usually loose fitted, sloppily put together, revealing a slight tease of provocation to all those she passes.
Personality:
Strong in every sense of the word, Kusanagi is a capable young woman who would much rather spend her hours in a hot spring than spar with her fellow shinigami. She is quite cunning, and readily resourceful, but is the type of person to rather wait and see how others fare before stepping in herself, often times ending it as soon as she possibly can. The only exception to this is when her comrades' lives are on the line in which case she will immediately jump into the fray, teeth bared. It can be firmly said, Nagi has a extremely well-developed sense of camaraderie, doing whatever it takes to secure the continued existence and those in her division, no matter what the cost.
This girl hates, and I mean absolutely hates being told what to do. However, if given a direct order from a higher authority and or her Captain she will obey, begrudgingly, even if she doesn't necessarily like it. She especially hates having to do work after a night of drinking and will often hide from anyone who seeks to find her.
Kusa is normally quite patient among her peers, sometimes hot-headed when dealing with a hangover, and above all a spit-fire to those she doesn't like. Quick to make decisions when needed, this shinigami is surprisingly very dependable when cornered into a serious situation. She does however holds deep grudges and will sooner or later get payback on anyone who wrongs her. Though usually well-mannered and comically lazy, if pushed she will come at you with a fury stronger than her sword spirit.
Though preferably lazy, when ordered to do something, Yuna believes she can do herself. She does not ask, nor beg for assistance in any form. Unless someone pushes themselves on her and doesn't back down from their persistent assistance or on death's door, she will stubbornly do everything in her power to do things by all on her own. A flaw that may get her killed one day.
Despite her stubbornness, Kusa can be a very charming, loyal, and playful individual, especially when she has a good drink in hand. She loves to tease anyone who finds themselves in her company and wont hesitate to mess with them just to get a few laughs.
However, she never lets anyone get too close, no matter how kind. Relationships are foreign to her and she has never really felt for someone in that light, despite her years. Honestly she doesn't really want anything to do with love, protecting those in her division is enough in Kusanagi's mind.
Not that anyone could really blame the woman, her own flesh and blood betrayed her- a person she had fully trusted, leaving her right arm lame and a nasty cut along her eye. So, it's a bit difficult for her to muster enough trust to develop an attachment and closeness that comes with being with someone in any form other than platonic friendship. It would very hard for her to consider someone in a brotherly, sisterly, or romantic light considering her past. Instead, she hides behind the safety of her liquor, keeping others at bay, the most safe outcome.
A sad fate for anyone who falls victim to her lovely pink hair.
In the end, Kusa is tough, feisty, independent, playful and smart. If a task needs doing, she'll find a way to accomplish it, either through a combination of uncompromising will and skilled manipulation of people and circumstances, or through amoral compromising. But in her private moments, there is a charming, and intensely loyal woman who will be by your side through thick and thin.

_______________________________________
Born the eldest of two, Yuna had always had the expectations of her family on her back. Her father, a no-nonsense man of high standard and strict expectations by nature, had a shrew attitude towards lineage. Kusanagi had always exhibited eagerness to learn from a young age, and excelled in whatever her father put forth. Even when Sataru was born and attention was devoted to him, her eagerness did not falter. She would spend her mornings outside swinging a stick then come inside and help her mother take care of her younger brother. There was never any resentment towards Sataru, not then, nor years later when there was every reason to be. Yuna loved him, truly and dearly. This was why, when she tried to train him and he deliberately attacked her from behind, Yuna did not immediately become concerned, simply believing he probably hadn't heard her when she decided to end the session for the day. She did not know that he was growing a steady resentment towards her success.
Yuna had finished her patrol one night, eager to get some much needed sleep. Unable to shake a horrid feeling that something was bound to happen, Nagi proceeded home, resolute in knowing her family would be able to sooth her strange worrying. Nothing could have prepared the girl for the sight, when she arrived. Her family, strung together in a pile on the ground, laid pale, their faces blank and void of life. He offered no answers to this crime, and it became evident that Sataru loathed his sister, going so far as to murder his own loving family. Crushed, Kusanagi faced moment of weakness, but her younger brother used the opportunity and attacked. She suffered a gruesome injury to the nerve in her right arm, a deep gash against her eyebrow and down to her cheek. Although he aimed to kill, she aimed to block and parry, unable to deal a deadly blow against her younger brother. It was his exertion, however, that dealt the final blow. Sataru's blade slipped from his upper guard. Yuna, not expecting it, thrust-ed her sword through his chest, ending the fight instantly. His last words, muttered over and over again, "I hate you." before the life drained from his face.
A few weeks later the burial commenced and under a cloudy, sombre sky, Yuna place the cherry blossom pendant obtained from Sataru on his grave. Depression hit the shinigami immediately. Blaming herself for the death of her family, Yuna took of smoking and alcohol to distract her from the pain. Her arm lost it's function and she was demoted to unseated, dark thoughts roamed her mind daily. Many years passed and she walked through them as if in a dream. It wasn't until a fated encounter with a hollow, that Yuna's actions began to take a turn for the better. Almost losing her life to the talon like grips of a low level hollow, Kusanagi was shook to her core, realizing how far she had fallen, not only in power but will. She realized she wasn't doing her family justice by sorrowfully moving through life as she was. So she took action. She worked until she bled, training to become better. And when the fated day arrived many years later, Yuna became lieutenant again, a honor she knew her family were smiling upon.

Division Skill: Reiatsu Reinforcements - As defending a location and inhabitants is much easier when their surroundings aren't collapsing, members of the Fifth Division are trained to user their reiatsu to survey a structure by placing their hand upon it and seeking out damage. When the damage is found, they can channel their reiatsu through the material directly to the area in question where it forms 'blocks' that support the structure for a short time while preparations for actual repair can be done
Free Skill: Involuntary Intimidation and Interrogation-
The Triples III's for short, yo.
From the ambiguously shadowed arm at her side, to the glaring scar over her eye, Yuna seems to expel a frightening aura that causes unease among a few of her peers, and outright fleeing from some normal citizens. She does not like this one bit and will chase after anyone who runs away in order to prove she is actually a nice person, often screaming at them to stop. However, this just seems to make it worst.
Her real skill is in her interrogation. She is very fair at extracting incriminating statements from others and knows more than one may to get someone to talk. Torture, deception, suggestibility, and watching the body language of suspects to detect deceit are all little ploys she takes to get answers from anyone who finds themselves in her grasp.
Abilities
Zanpakutō
Zanpakutō Name: Fukyōwaon No Sōen [Clawed Flame of Dissonance]
Spirit: Fukyōwaon No Sōen is a large white tiger about 14 feet tall and nearly 16 and a half feet in length not including his bushy tail with add another 2 inches to his overall length. He has an array of blue hued fire, ranging from light to dark blues depending on the heat of the flame, coursing along his coat. His mane is made up of viciously hungry light blue flames, moving chaotically along his spine. With glowing eyes like the sky, he stands nearly 453 pounds of muscle in estimation of weight, growling on top of the blackish lake of Kusa's inner world, his flaming paws scorching the water, causing the thick mist in the air.
He is rude, sarcastic, and often taunts Nagi when she makes a mistake demanding her to work harder. Rebellious in nature, it takes quite a lot for Yuna to gain the upper-hand when dealing with her spirit. You can never really win. One minute he could be berating her on her poor fighting style which she counters with him be a useless sword and eventually they will begin bickering on whether or not she has ugly hair. It is all very playful on both sides, though definitely more entertaining for Fukyōwaon No Sōen since he relishes on trying to agitate Kusanagi at every turn. He also likes making up nicknames for Yuna ranging from troublesome kit, to Ugly Pink Head, and he never sticks with one. Sometimes he'll address her as Drunken Dog and then immediately call her Stupid Catfish in the following sentence.
Over all, he has a foul mouth, bad attitude, and zero respect for anything. Only once has he ever taken care with his words, and that is in regards to her brother. It is a sore topic that not even he dares to breach, though he very much wants to. Fukyōwaon No Sōen is tired of the lake, wanting to also reach out and touch the burning Cherry Blossoms....And let his flames burn the rest of them to the ground. He knows the only thing holding them back from power is her lingering in the past, and he absolutely hates it.
Despite all his posturing, deep down inside he cares very deeply of Yuna, even though he doesn't show it outwardly. He helps better her, in his own way, usually through harsh criticism and mocking that often times results in her eventually blowing up on him and creating an argument that he finds quite amusing in every regard.Spoiler

Inner World: An eery lake, utterly silent and lacking a sense of peace. Inspiring unease, the lake is engulfed in a dense fog, cherry blossom tress scatter across the distance, unreachable, with beautiful pink petals burning in bright angry fire. The lake itself is sturdy, able to be walked on with ease, until you realize what it is, and then it shatters like glass swallowing you to it's depths, suffocating and filling your lungs with blackish blue water that burns the throat and leaves you cold and utterly senseless.
Yuna's inner world in a place of hidden demons, tormenting her mind and heart, unseen and unnoticed to even her. Only when she can move from the past and gain her Bankai can her world finally change for the better. When that happens, she can finally leave the lake and venture passed the burning blossoms and find herself in a green field full of cat-tails. Birds fly careless in the sunset basked sky, singing tunes of happiness and joy. In the middle is a large weeping willow, freshly green and brown in color, and as tall as the sky. It's bark twirling and spiraling upwards in majestic wonder. At it's base, wider than a few buildings, is a mossy area amassed with roses, lavenders, and many other flowers. Next to it is a small pond, a haven for quails, rabbits, and two deer. On the water's surface a large green frog sit happily on a overgrown lilly-pad.
Sealed: A simple black sheathed, silver katana strapped to her waist. It's hilt, 16 inches in length, is golden, with a snarling tiger eating the blade. It has eery sapphire gems engraved for eyes, that stares almost angrily at anyone who looks at it. The blade itself is natural grey in color with a slight blue hue when captured in the light, evening out to about 30 inches; making the sword in total 46 inches in length. The width is the a bit thicker than standard to accommodate the snarling tiger head.
