As the team of Shinigami began to move down the center tunnel they would hear the sound of breaking stone get closer, more clearer. It does seem that their leader had a good head on his shoulders and picked correctly after all. As they worked their way around the bend in the tunnel just before the rise which was nearly forty five degrees, they would see bits of stone trickling down through the muck as the tunnel began to widen, albeit very narrowly. Small grunts could be easily heard now and even humming. As the neared the top of the incline they would see not fifteen yards ahead of them the shapes of two men. The little one (whom was a bit on the chubby side) didn't seem to notice them, so wrapped up in his own little dance to care much about what else was going on. However, the other fellow spotted them in the dark. He was a monster of a man, nearly a meter wide from shoulder to shoulder and although was bending his knees a bit was easily seven feet tall. The darkened outline of him gave hint to the muscles upon his massive frame and that he was sporting no shirt to cover his upper body. As soon as he did notice the band of Shinigami had finally caught up to them, he ceased his work, which appeared to be smashing a hole into the ceiling (something he had made a bit of progress on, despite the choice of tool) and stared at them, the hand holding a odd shaped object dropping down to his side. A growl would then travel from deep within his throat and out through his bared teeth which could easily be mistaken as fangs before his eyes and frame began to glow in a menacing golden light. The Escapees~ Jinri stopped his happy dance at the growl and squinted his eyes as his comrade began to glow. He didn't understand why he had stopped working, slowly but surely Jinri turned his plump little face toward the figures in the dark and instantly he began to cry a little. "All I wanted was Kuroihoshi baaaaaaaack~! He sobbed reaching out to his glowing companion. "Taka-sama make'em go away and get Kuroihoshi!!" Taka however did not so much as turn to look at little Jinri at first, no, his glowing golden eyes were staring at the Shinigami whom had come to put him back in that dank little cell. He wasn't about to have that. Not at all. "We ain't go'n back in dem cells, my lil cullies we ain't!" He roared, the tunnels echoing his voice in lion's roar. What would happen next may be the subject around the water cooler for many an hour, perhaps even weeks. Taka's aura transformed itself and began to streak off like lightning around him, down toward the band of do-gooders and about the large man's frame as he threw a palm against the stone ceiling. An explosion of light and stone would fill the confines of the tunnel as the large man's usage of Shunko finished what Douglas had started. The worst of the blast would not be faced by either the convicts nor the Shinigami giving them chase, nay it would be felt the worst by the room above them which would for the most part would bare resemblance to a room which had a small bomb go off in it. The Confined Weapons room, which held all of their prisoner's weapons worldly processions. The large man would then quickly wrap his right arm around Jinri and in a flash would use a bit of Shunpo to leap into the room for both escape and to find what they were after in the first place. Their own, Zanpakuto.

Kabelja gave a slight bow, steadying her female comrade before letting her go from her grip.
"I am most glad to hear it, Sixth-seat Kajimoni-san. My sword is with you and your division."
Truly, she would have suspected her indirect superior of falsehood had it been of her own judgement, however Fifth Seat Aoyama, who would know his kinsmen far greater than Kabelja did, the two being strangers who first met not an hour previous, was confident in the ebony haired Shinigami. And she trusted his judgement.
This was reinforced by his choice in paths, to go up. Or rather, follow the slightly faster stream of sewage, indicating a path leading higher. Maybe he had some advanced hearing and so could tell which was the real voice among the echoing tunnels, but regardless, heading up was the wisest choice, and was the right choice, even if it were wrong. Though her theory was proved right on this occasion...no not proved. After all, it was more likely that the escapees had taken the upper path, but it was by no means a certainty. At the very most, there was evidence to support it, but one result does not make a trend, and she doubted that there would be enough instances of similar occasions to come to a result that held any statistical credibility. Of course, if it was a rare event, it would be inefficient to devote resources to the study of discovering which paths criminals would take in a sewer. Having such uncommon use, its discovery would have little benefit. And besides, the Gotei had enough on their plate as it was. Furthermore it would be a study based on natural inclination, so a pursuer, acting on their natural inclination would do the same. No, she couldn't say that. They had different motives. The pursuer was not trying to escape, they were attempting to detain an escapee. Though after spending some time in a sewer, the pursuer would most likely desire to exit the tunnels themselves. Regardless, the choice of paths had led them to two individuals, most probably the ones they were after.
Kabelja awaited orders. She had no training as to this (though she had the common sense not to bunch up with the others in the tunnel) so she hung back, her position closer to the rear of their party, so her view was somewhat unclear, what with the greater distance and numerous bodies between her and the escapees, though she saw enough. The streaks of lightning, the palm against the ceiling, a cloud of dust, a flash of light, a storm of rubble and the glint of several swords as they fell into the cavern from the room above.
It was at that moment Kabelja realised something. Since the blast the world was quickly becoming smaller, and additionally felt somewhat light, as if she were flying. Her mind clicked as the First Division officer realised that she indeed was flying. The shock wave from the blast had echoed down the tunnel, propelling her backwards. The floor, inclining downwards, greased with the slime of two thousand years caused the red-head to skid a considerable distance before coming to a rest on her back, slightly bruised but otherwise uninjured from her flight.
She had to report.
"This is Watson. The escaped prisoners have reached the surface. They have blown a hole leading to what appears to be an armoury of some description. We have found two escapees. One male, around six five, slightly larger than average build, waist length white hair, possibly by the name of Taka. The second also male, short height, slim build, short black hair, distinctively ill looking appearance."
Her butterfly was directed at the original hole. Hopefully someone would be there to receive it. It was a shorter distance than to dispatch, although an alert fourth division had more than likely heard the explosion for themselves, and had almost certainly identified the missing already, making the butterfly redundant. Though it was disconcerting that she had received no reply to her earlier butterfly. The First Division member above had not sent down intelligence regarding who they were pursuing. There wasn't even any acknowledgement of the receipt of her initial communication. This was rather worrying.
Kabelja picked herself up and reached for her sword, her hand to be ready on the hilt to draw on a moment's notice, to strike on the word of Aoyama and in the name of the Gotei, yet her hand reached nothing but air.
"It must have come unsheathed in the explosion."
Though that seemed unlikely, especially as a blade untamed, left to the whims of gravity as it flew through the air would be a most dangerous thing, and she had certainly not been struck by her Zanpakuto as it came loose. Desperately she searched for it among the effluent in the dim light or, failing that, any weapon, for she was practically defenceless unarmed. Alas, it was to be the later, as all she could see was a bludgeon a few feet away. Her hand reached for it, wishing to make it her own, at least for a time. As she grasped for it, the manus informed her that the very air around the cudgel appeared to become chilled, as if the rod were cold. Indeed, the way it glistened seemed to suggest it was made of ice.
The two met.
Instantly Kabelja's body temperature dropped as the soul of her self merged with the soul of her Shikai, wielder and weapon becoming connected. Seven sharp spikes grew, protruding from the rod. In this time a voice spoke to her.
"It is a most gracious honour to finally be able to converse with you, my lady."
The voice spoke with great formality, but unlike the cold, unwavering tone of its master, the being put great emphasis upon its words, the 'r' in "gracious" being gloriously rolled upon its tongue. This was an attempt to flatter and to woo, though not in a way to achieve any romantic end, but as a duty, to show class and distinction. It was the voice of an aristocrat.
"Verily, noble spirit Janus."
She did not question why she knew the name of the voice. It was instinctive, knowledge she had within her. She knew this was her Zanpakuto, though it had changed form. They had served, side by side for many centuries, and now, in this time of need, their bond had grown.
"Though I pledge my continued allegiance to you, in my first release as well as my sealed state, may I be excused to leave formalities until after the present crisis has passed?"
"I am in complete agreement, though I thank you for revealing yourself to me at this time, and for your previous time of service. You have not failed me, and I pray that I will be worthy of your power."
From the graveyard of the lost souls, Kabelja had found hers. In her hand was the embodiment of the great elephant Janus, a cudgel as cold as her soul. United, ready to do battle. Arising from the ground, the refuse of the sewer dripping off her uniform, her voice spoke, piercing through the settling cloud of dust.
"Ready and waiting instruction, Aoyama-san!"

Shandina was still thinking pondering why the escapees haven't attack them yet. She quickly turns to face Aoyama then at the area that the escapees are still there.
"I'm starting to think escapees had something in their mind at the start. Don't you think its weird that they haven't started to attack us Aoyama-kun and Kabelja-san. Maybe they after something to make the playing field more equal."
She said as her voice sound abit more intelligence and back to normal in no flat. She pulled out her zanpakutō from the sheath as she walks more towards to where the escapees is while Aoyama and Kabelja are behind her.
"I'm ready to kick some escapee butts." She said in most energetic way ever.

As it turned out, Ryōichi not only had a good head, but also a good gut. While the most logical assumption was to go upwards, there was really no guarantee that that was going to be the case. Maybe the escapees would turn out to be more devious and have chosen the less likely to be treated path, or maybe they could've been so stupid that logic was a unregistered word in their own personal dictionaries. Long story sort, no matter the choice, there is always a margin of error - small or big, significant or insignificant, but in the end it was there. You just had no way of knowing how things would turn out. No matter how insignificant the results may be, one could simply not predict the results of their actions. In the end, as unfair as it may be, you had to live with whatever choices you had made and take responsibility for them - regardless for the outcome.
This time, his logic and instincts lead him right to his target. He could vaguely recognize them, at the very least the giant of a man. He had seen him before, he was there while he was brought in detainment. He had given his file a quick scan, that he had, and he did not like much what he had seen. As the aura became stronger and more fierce, with the small bolts of lightning licking the surrounding walls, he could not remember why.
"Not going back? That can be arranged." he said, his voice as cold as ice. He was furious about the deaths of his comrades, as well as incredibly ashamed by them. He honestly had absolutely no problems about giving up on capturing those prisoners alive, and just butchering them right on the spot. They seemed to have no remorse about what they did and, the large one, seemed to be very much ready to repeat his actions as many times as he could. Not just that, from Ryōichi's point of view the murderer seemed to be even a little glad at his chance to kill a few more Shinigami, though right now he didn't really have time to confirm his assumption.
As he was standing on the very front of the formation, he was the one who was put in the biggest amount of danger as the explosion went off. Acting as quickly as he could, he proceeded to place his sword in front of him in a vertical position, the sword's guard and hilt helping protect his head from any debris along with his left forearm. The blade pointed downwards, and could perhaps serve to block some rocks that made a beeline for the stomach. Fortunately for him, that would protect him from the rocks that were big enough to cause any considerable damage, but they were very lucky that the strike was not aimed at the walls around them regardless. As for the shock of the blast, he did not try to resist it - instead, he allowed the flow of kinetic energy to pass through him and make him slide backwards for about 2 meters. While he almost fell on the person right behind him, he would not fall thanks to his excellent sense of balance, courtesy of his extensive training.
".....We might be hunting bigger fish than we originally thought. Change priorities to termination - aim to kill. If they survive, good for them." he would say before running and jumping up the hole along with the unnamed Fourth Divisioneers, chasing the criminals up into the Confined Weapons room.

{Mod Note}Slight bit here Jeff, but use knowledge your character would know/that I've provided. The name Malo for instance, while you oocly know the name I've not once used it here. Nor did I make any mention about the length or colour of his hair, which for the record isn't as long as you've stated. I'm not going to have you go fix it, I'm nor am I going to be much of a nuisance about it (perhaps other than a small joke at Watson's expense), just keep it in mind for the future please and thank you.
And Ryo, if you could provide me with a number of the npc you've brought along, that'd be swell. The Escapees~ The room was a cluttered mess, no thanks to Taka's efforts of getting in here, however Jinri's bond with his weapon allowed the stocky, tubby fellow to find his way to his prize which was in a sealed box which he was struggling with to get open as his companion watched the makeshift door, expecting ill fouled company. "'Urry up with gett'n eet open Jinri we's about to have some nasteh callers." The tubby man whined in response, picked up what he deemed to be a pipe of some sort and starts whacking on the crate with everything he had. "Open!! OPEN!!! OPEN!!!"With his back straightened, Taka turned his head sharply left for all but an instant to snap it along with his back as he formed two tight fists. His eyes stared hungrily at the hole in the floor, a wide smirk appearing on his face as his eyes flashed with an insane glee as a figure started to reveal itself in the dark, and jumped up to meet him. It was the one who spoke, the one with the sword. (that narrowed it down didn't it?) "'Ello muah lil cully~."Assuming of course that Aoyama was no where near as good as shape as Taka was, he would need to not only jump from the sewer but would need to climb out as well. As such, in Taka's mindset he was a complete and utter sitting duck. So, Taka kicked at his head with speed equal to that of his Shunpo, all but ignoring the men and women who were scrambling up behind him.

{Response}Meant to say Taka, apologies, has been fixed. Though Kabelja can see Taka's hair, so she would know its colour. Onward the merry band rushed, storming up through the hole, a mighty geyser of bodies ready to overcome the foolish three who had dared challenge the might of the Gotei. But even their rush was minuscule compared to the torrent of their comrades that had invariably surrounded the room and would be crashing through the door. The escapees would be crushed between them. It was folly, pure folly. But they must have known that. How were they going to escape the room? She wasn't exactly sure of its layout, but she doubted it provided many opportunities for an exit strategy. Indeed, their best bet was.... " They may attempt to escape back down the tunnel." There was some fortune. It was a dead end, so they could only go one way. Unless the large one attempted to smash his way through a wall, but that would probably cause some delay. She would be a wall, she would stand her ground, a guard, a sentry, should they return back the sewer.

After waiting for a command Shandina began to rub her eyes but ended up losing her vision. Without saying anything she accent swing her weapon at her following comrades and she couldn't tell it. Her weapon only made a scratch on them.
These fumes are messing with my mind I think I'm hurting my Comrades. She thought then spoken out of her mind "Think I should sit this one out these fumes are kinda missing with my vision." as she said while trying to find a wall and started to vomit a bit before falling down on her knees.
((OOC: Very sorry if this took too long I had bad case of writers block))

There was that one undeniable, undisputable advantage to the beefy criminal's current position; it was a perfect spot for an ambush. The length and angle of the hole not only made it difficult to get out of the dirty sewers in a single jump, their enemies had the higher ground as well. However that did not make the situation hopeless, the group was not unknowingly walking towards the open maw of the wolf. Rather, it was the opposite for the Shinigami was not treating the escapees as fools. He was expecting this, he could even see their prey seizing the opportunity to become the predator. But that meant that they were ready - not that this made their position anymore advantageous, but they were now far from sheep walking into the slaughterhouse.
Aoyama was no fool. He knew he couldn't jump his way completely up the hole and exit quickly enough to completely rob the vagabond of his chance at such a cowardly tactic. None of the group probably could, not with that maniac standing up. Someone had to take the chance, to get up there and secure their position - but who? Out of everyone present, he was confident that he was the one most suitable at avoiding the blow. If he was wrong on the other hand, then he would be the one to receive the punishment - as it should be. He would not treat his comrades as possible cannon-fodder, not if he could help it (and regardless of what someone could say about it). But it wouldn't come down to that, he wouldn't become the sacrificial lamb. For if he had not the strength to hawl himself out of the hole, he should have the nimbleness and tenacity to make up for that weakness.
Paying no mind to Shandina, he proceeded to sprint in order to pick up speed before jumping upwards most spectacularly. As impressive as it were however, the leap by itself was not sufficient to fully exit the hole. It was as expected, but at that point the expectancies would come to a hault; for instead of climbing out with his arms, he would run out. Then, just before he had entered the range of the man's kick (whom he could see overhead, with his bloodlust-filled eyes and hungry grin) he kicked with both of his legs as hard as he could. As a result, he would send himself flying away from the madman and barely manage to avoid the attack, as well as gain enough elevation to exit.
Not that everything went smoothly for the Fifth Seat of course. Even with the attack avoided (for the most part) the angle with which he launched himself through the air was rather awkward. As a result, he would not manage to twist his body in time to land on his feet. He would fall on his back quite roughly, only for the pent-up momentum to cause him to roll backwards over his head once and onto his feet in a crouching position. Allowing himself to slide backwards a meter or two (still crouche) he would then stand up hurriedly, ready for the impending assault (and if it didn't come, he would just go after the other man). This had gone a lot better than it could've, really. And yet, Aoyama Ryōichi was not the only one who sprung into action. The tallest of the other 3 male Fourth Division members, a man of visibly athletic physique (though no monster in size like the criminal) with slightly tanned skin and short platinum-blonde hair that could be mistaken for silver jumped upwards after his superior. Having cleared well over half the distance with just that he latched there, ready to haul himself up with strength that surpassed those of the rest of his peers. Below, the other two males raised their right hands, palms open and pointing towards the figure of the large man who wasn't that hard to spot (the angle was not ideal, but still they could hit such a large target). They were visibly thinner than the other 2 men, their skin tones similar but their hair-colours the same (light brown and black respectively, short). Their reiatsu spiked, and together they would cry out the following words; "Hadou no Sanjuusan! Soukatsui!"Two blazing balls of blue flame shot out of the aforementioned extended appendages, flying upwards towards the upper body of that beast of a man. While only at half their strength the kido were dangerous nonetheless, not to mention that there were two of them. If the criminal took the attack, he should be distracted long enough for their fellow comrade to get out of the hole. If he dodged, pretty much the same. Hopefully they would manage to come out on top, regardless of how things went. {Spoiler}{OOC}No worries Shandi, it happens to the best of us. Also, to everyone, I will give a more detailed description of the 3 unnamed shinigami (as well as their names) on my next post. I really need to sleep now.

{Spoiler}{ooc/mod note} I do apologize for my own delay, holiday schedule and working on the reset stuff got the better of me, that and because of the original delay I'd forgotten what I was going to do xD.
As such, Shan in future if you know you won't be posting due to a lack of creativity (having writer's block) please post as such and inform someone to skip you. Aoy, the same can be said for you. If someone is overdue in their post, regardless of the thread, skip them. Because next time around, I'll skip the both of you.
The Escapees~
If anything made Taka angry, it was Kido. The turtle necked woman did little but shoot kido at him back in the day, or let him crash through the roof and unto her in the tub when he was so not being a peeping tom. Oh the good ole days. Regardless of that though, at the sign of blazing blue fire balls, the large man let out a shrill, girly, scream and jumped back out of the kido's way and watched it collide with the ceiling in a dazzling display of blue fiery boomage. Yes, that's what he's going with. Boomage. This also meant his kick, didn't go through for in his panic he bailed on it utterly and completely.
Bits of rock and wood rained down on Taka, as well as those climbing out of the hole. Growling, he snapped out at the man with a furious display of speed and strength as the man moved up on the upper level, leaving him all but no time to react. Jinri meanwhile was not overly bothered with the small explosions, the cursing and roaring of Taka as he wrapped his big hand around the smaller man's throat. No, no. He had his prize in his hand, his beloved Zanpakuto. "Oh Kuroihoshi, how I've missed you!" And then began the snuggling.
Taka however was in the throng of strangling the Fourth Division member foolish enough to come meet him toe to toe all by his lonesome. "Ya lil maggot! I'll teach yee to look down on me, so I will!" Movement in the hole caught his eye, and as Aoyama started to ascent out of the floor the large former Shinigami growled and drug the smaller man away from it. "Jinri, you got'em?"
"I found Kuroihoshi Taicho-Sama!" Taka nodded and moved toward his companion all the while keeping his captive in strong hold, restraining his movements. "Can't find yer no name though.." And then the blubbering threatened to once again start anew. Taka however simply smiled at his little buddy a sign that he wasn't bother by this and said something that made a sparkle appear in the stocky fat man's eyes.
"Take another step toward us, and my friend here will gut this maggot like a pig, so he will!" He flailed the man in his grip a little at his would be jailer. The capative, whom for for the most part was but a rag doll in the larger man's grip, was still very much alive. For the time being anyway. "Yee'll escort us out of this damnable city and not give us chase or we'll kill'im! Kill'im and anyone else whom you opt up as a hostage!"

This was not her place to interfere. Sure, Kabelja had read the book on hostage situations (although that would to little benefit, that tome was intentionally vague, giving general guidelines but telling the one in charge of that situation to "go with their gut") but this was not her job.
Not that she would be any good at it either; Kabelja was a legendary bureaucrat, it was her brother, Yoshiya, who was the legendary diplomat. She did not have the negotiating skills that he had. Part of their teachings had come to mind. "True strength is found not only in recognising your weaknesses, but in finding others to compensate for them."
No, her job was not to save the captured Shinigami, to decide to use diplomacy or attempt violence in rescue. She would not act unless ordered. Kabelja would stand by, and not let the convicts pass her, unless ordered to by a member of the Fourth Division or another superior. She would stand there, and report.
Kabelja stood in the tunnel, resolute in the dank mire of the sewers, holding her position, and released another butterfly, her third of the night.
"This is Kabelja Watson. The convicts have seized one of the fourth division members and is holding them hostage, requesting safe passage out of Seireitei. Will update as the situation develops."
Yet, as she stood there, listening to the soft beating of wings of the butterfly as it raced down the tunnels behind her, concern filled the communications officer.
"How come I have received no reply to my messages?"
The alarm was blaring, she could still hear it, a muffled wail still audible in the chaos. Her messages must have arrived long ago. There would have to be a serious lack of co-ordination, one that would warrant an inquiry. She would have to speak to the Soutaichou when this was over.
But for now the lady would not act, standing ready. Unconsciously she drew out three spikes from her club, bladed icicles which hovered just above her head, primed and ready to strike.
Yet at that time a message did come, a butterfly with a simple message.
"Kabelja, reinforcements are coming. Please withdraw yourself back to the surface immediately."
She had her orders, her instruction. And she would follow them. The aged lady turned and left the choking haze of the sewers to the surface where she was promptly instructed to go home, a home where both she and her clothes enjoyed a thorough clean.

{mod note}So, due to my not reading Ryo's post properly and also due to Watson's response and then edited exit due to his leaving, I decided to just strike out my last post and make a new one. Also given Shandina's absence I'll be removing her from the thread as well during my post. The Escapees~ As Taka kicked, the dastardly fellow leapt from one side of the hole to the other making it so his intended face kick did little more than bounce and slide off of the Fourth Division Member's shoulder, sure it would still hurt but nothing like it would have had it struck him in the teeth. And seriously, dental in this day in age was a terrible thing, he'd still end up looking like a Hockey player from the 1970's (if he was fortunate), while now he may just need a sling for his arm. Lucky duck. Taka however, stumbled and staggered and threatened to fall in the hole himself. Cursing himself, he hopped backward as his would be jailer climbed out of the hole and began to steady himself, roughly as Taka did the same. A moment later twin fireballs shot from below and crashed into the ceiling in a fiery display of blue...ness? Yes, blueness, good word. Needs to be used more often, so it does. Anywho, explosion of debris and fire would rain down upon the two warriors primed to battle, if anything they caused more harm than good for their commanding officer whom would be blinded by the rock dust going into his eyes, if only for a moment much like the large criminal whom began to cuss wildly and quite profoundly. The smaller fatter fellow however now had his prize and with a flick of his chubby wrist pointed his now exposed and very sharp blade in the air. The usual silly grin that he wore was replaced with one of malice and cruelty as he wordlessly released his zanpakuto into it's new more twisted shape. "You'll all let Taicho-sama and me go, or you'll be facing the wrath of Kuroihoshi! He's the master of the dead and I'll use such forces upon you all!" He cried in a shrill screech. His words echoed down into the chamber below and as the Watson lady took her leave from the field of battle, Shandina whom was struggling decided to do the same. She would do more good top side and she could come through the rest of the complex to perhaps cut the escaping pair off, without the fumes of her Division effecting her so. As for those reinforcements. Only time would tell. Shandia exited{mod note}Ryo, as you're the only remaining member in the thread (unless Shan decides to rejoin you) I'll be ending this thread within the next two posts at the very most. How that's done will depend on how to handle the present situation.

The pain running across his left shoulder and down to his very fingertips did nothing to faze the Fifth Seat - if anything, it just helped to focus his fury and steady his sole functioning right arm. Which was thankfully his dominant arm, and thus made sure that his own lethality as a combatant was not lowered as much as the two criminals would hope. Or maybe they did not understand how dangerous a single man with a blade could be, if skilled and angered enough. At that point, Ryōichi was 'frowning', if one could call it that - eyes glassy, but in no way hazy, stared right ahead at that hulking man along with his accomplise, his mouth a straight line, so straight that it looked as if it was carved onto his face. He was willing to kill now, and his killing intent was seeping out of him in waves. It was not malicious, not sadistic - he was no animal, yearning for the blood of its kill, nor would there be any real pleasure in doing so. He was not like them. What he would do, was kill; it was a simple as that.
Following his superior's example, the far more physically built young man would launch himself out of the hole with his bare muscular strength in a mimicry of the acrobatics he witnessed before. Plus, as he had the cover of smoke to hide his presence, his hasty arrival would not be noticed up till the moment he would crash on the floor next to the swordsman. Standing up and giving a wolfish grin, he would raise his fists and fall into a hand-to-hand combat stance."Takemaru here and ready, sir! Let's break som-" BOOM! Only for his boast to be silenced prematurely, as the large double doors behind the criminals (yes, the door was actually behind the giant of a man, but they were so preoccupied with getting the zanpakutō and trying to commit murder that they must've missed that little detail) were blasted off in a magnificent explosion. Despite the considerable distance between the escapees and their road to 'freedom', said road would still come to crash along the back -and possibly head- of the large brute. Naturally, the two members of the Fourth Division would quickly move out of the way, but the brute might not be so lucky (as he couldn't see it).
Regardless, a swarm of black-robed individuals would swarm through the doors soon after. Men and women, younger-looking and older-looking, short and tall, muscular and lithe, of all skin colours too would immediately block the sole exit and entrance to the room before rapidly spreading around in order to circle and trap, well, everyone. There were many, many dozen of them, seemingly many patrols worth of people. They were many, forming multiple walls of flesh and bone around the 4 males, even when spread out. And maybe there were even more people outside the doors, and around the building. Who knew? What was important was that reinforcements had come, and they had come with a vengeance.
The air had become thick as killing intent and reiatsu, as people raised fists, weapons, opened palms and sharp, pointy throwing thingies of all sorts. There was still hope for the Fourth Division, it seemed."Looks like negotiations are over. Surrender or die - those are your options." said flatly the Fifth Seat and, judging from everyone's looks, most of the people were hoping for the latter. Kidou were ready to be fired, and they were also ready to charge. The two shinigami left in the hole had their palms raised towards the hole, ready to fire kidou if the criminals tried to jump. Plus there was also Takemaru and Ryōichi. No, there was no escape, the smallest of false movements would mean a death - possibly a very gory one, what with all the attacks. For the Fourth Division might tolerate being underestimated and made fun of -possibly even that- but the unspoken rule amongst the simple members was this; you don't mess with their own.OOC {Spoiler}Seeing how we have to wrap this up quickly, I decided to just do this. If you want, you can have the criminals resist and just be butchered by the Fourth Division in your own post. Or captured. There is no need to elongate this just for a couple more RP points, me thinks.

The Escapees~ Flung from the explosion at their backs, the duo of would be good doers (in their point of view), were sent ass over tea kettle and landed on the former in a daze. Soon they were completely surrounded, weapons pointed at them from all sides. Jinri, was worse off than his larger friend. Bits of the door were lodged in his arms and back and yes, he was crying a bit because of this, but more so because his prized Zanpakuto was also lost to him in the mix of bodies. He had gone and dropped it. "Well, seems yee got the right best of us, so ya did sai." Taka answered, rising to his feet, burns from the blast covering his right arm and side of his face. So he turned into the explosion, seemed like a good idea at the time. Cracking his neck he shot a smirk at the would be jailer, or actual jailer in this case and let out a heavy sigh. "T'is nice while it lasted, so it was. Caughted us fair and square like, so yee may as well slap dem cuffs on us and take us back to our roomzee. Though one wiff a view would sure be nice, all we wanted was ta see the sky so we did.
"Awfully cruel of yee lot sticking us in a deep dark hole with not'n but candles for light, ain't natural, no it ain't. T'is no wonder we go all crazy like. And that's saying a lot, for dat dun mole is as crazy as da come, so he is!" He snorted a laugh then and placed his arms together before him, lowering to his knees in an act of surrender, Jinri albeit much more broken hearted and well snotty from all that crying, did the same. The valiant efforts of the Fourth Division had saved the day and the criminals recaptured. Though one question was left for debate. Who was this Mole fella? [mod exit]

OOC: (I honestly can't think of what else to put and considering the fact that I'm not moving my char over to the next continuity, am not sure of whether this plot will cross over. At least, I am not concerned by this. Plus, I kind of can't muster the motivation. Has it been closed? If not, please just close this.)
