[Rae, a woman of fair hair and skin, blessed with such a rarity from her kin. Although runty and petite, femininely curvaceous is another feat. Her eyes the sweet color of honey, it's a shame the warmth they convey is usually baloney. And, in the thick of the night, do not be surprised it is her you fight.]
A woman of short stature but beautiful nonetheless, Raewynne has an elegance that comes with her maneuverability. She's lithe and fluid, dexterity from her combat prowess. With this alluring gait and movement, one should heed caution -- it is also a symbol of her fatal grace. But, with her training, her frame is slender but toned to accommodate her strenuous work.
She only stands at 5 feet and 2 inches, weighing roughly 120 pounds. Her hair extends to the middle of her back, a strawberry-blonde hue, which is accompanied by honey-brown oculars. Raewynne has alabaster skin, freckles along her cheeks and face, even sported on her shoulders if they're exposed to the sun. The woman also has a few scars: one against her left shoulder and another at her right knee.
Her poise varies, suitable for the role she undergoes. But, what most can assume - if she leads them to believe - she is a woman who shouldn't be trifled with. Her stature might also convey mystery and independence.
Her attire mimics the changes of her poise -- to uphold mystery to her identity or gather more Intel for the army, one must adapt and act according to that specific role. But, she usually aims to obscure her visage, normally with a hood, fabric or mask. Battle attire is flexible and light to promote agility, while her formal wear is likely something, well, formal and significant of her secret heritage. Born as a high noble-class, she claims that doesn't possess much noble-wear; considering that she upholds the false identity of a commoner. However, she seems to make due for the situation. It will depend on the formal occasion in regards to what she will wear.
It is difficult to figure out what is Raewynne's standard attire. With a job that requires a stealth-like operation, she frequently changes uniform to suit the needs of her 'character'. She's also a woman of secrecy, preferring to keep her identity hidden to majority of the public - only those of higher status and those among her branch of the army have the privilege of knowing who she is; but even some of the recruits and rookies aren't blessed with knowing who is behind command of the Rangers. Loyalty is a must!
Battle attire usually consists of light armor, be it of leather or light plates of metal. Most of her armor will cover major areas that require protection, such as the chest, torso, shins, thighs and and arms, etc. Basically, her battle gear is light to allow for full mobility and flexibility, making her quite the rogue-type foe. The colors are dark and earth-hues, allowing for her to blend into her environment; but are always subject to change depending on the circumstance and scenery.

If one thought Malavai was intricate, Raewynne is complicated! Although their personalities are similar, which tends to make the two bond even more as friends, Raewynne has a few personality flaws that Malavai dislikes. For one, she is a very guarded individual to the point of taking a different name to save her family any burdens or revenge from the people she either jailed, attacked or terrorized. He is by far the sole person knowledgeable of her high noble heritage, a child born of the Cousland household. The name she coins is Wynne Fletcher, and she pretends to be of common, poor birth.
Despite her long bouts of deception, when one intimately comes to know Raewynne, one will find she's affectionate and loving, sometimes to the point of teasing and pranks; though her mischievousness is never to harm or upset, it is a way to show that she cares. She is also very protective, making sure none close to her will come in harm's way -- hence her deception of her alias. She has also sworn to protect Malavai, but sometimes she can be very overprotective of the people she has grown fond of. This also describes her tenderhearted nature, but there is even one flaw with being close: Raewynne still keeps a truth stretched long and thin, basically, she finds it hard to confide in others when it comes to her identity. And, well, maybe she'll fabricate a situation to prevent someone from being hurt. But even sometimes that doesn't end well.
To those she's familiar with but not on that level of intimacy, Raewynne is still pretty guarded about herself. That doesn't mean she'll be outwardly cold -- she'll greet them with a friendly demeanor and remains to be mindful of what is said or heard. However, she'll still be deceptive with her professional life or identity, really depends on the person and circumstance. It may be safe to say that she's insecure and mistrusting with most and loyalty and trust is a priority with her. But, she does seem aloof, out of it at times when around acquaintances, maybe pondering some thoughts. However, 'Wynne' will be supportive of those in that category, her motive to help people, as usual.
In a professional setting, she's secretive when it comes to her affairs, especially regarding her personal life. She will be formal and respectful to her peers and commanding officers [although there are not many -- those of equal rank get her respect as well]. She'll cling to her deception still, not wishing to jeopardize her family or friends. She's hardened in that she'll arise to the situation and do what's best for the Claws and for the realm. In that manner, she might appear cold or ruthless. She's mistrusting of most, appearing as mysterious to many that don't know her -- and many that do actually know her. In professional situations, Raewynne is resilient and tactful, like Malavai. She will strive to accomplish her mission and react keenly to most circumstances. And, like a ranger-commander must be, Raewynne is vigilant, watchful to reduce harm on herself, Malavai and others under her command.
With those unfamiliar to her, Raewynne is unpredictable -- meaning it's difficult to pinpoint what her typical reaction will be. She retains her secrecy, deception and mistrust. She's observant of any attack and any odd behavior that might warrant suspicion. She can be hostile, aggravated or hot-tempered, but she might also be kind. Depends on the circumstance.
She aims to resume living a lie - least keeping her persona hidden from those who may mean harm. She wishes to keep Malavai and her Cousland family safe, at all costs. An essential goal and also basic is to survive. If she survives, she hopes to grow stronger and serve to the best of her abilities. And, with a longer life, maybe she'll settle down, raise children and find love again. After her first love's 'death', she focused more on becoming an asset to the Imperial army, choosing to guard and suppress her emotions. It might describe why she tends to ponder and day-dream a lot, but it's something she'd rather not share with anyone, least those she can't trust.
She likes hunting and roaming the wilderness, despite the dangers. She once genuinely loved Bard, but after his death, found it hard to move on in that aspect. Growing up noble, she enjoyed music and dance, but sometimes she might refrain from indulging in it. She likes an occasional drink... or two. Raewynne likes to train and fight, her mindset focused on getting stronger; however, she also likes to sleep and relax. Like dancing, she finds joy with sports and games. She loves both friends and family. Another like is food in general and eating; she's not afraid to try new foods. Her favorite season is autumn and she likes organization.
She dislikes criminals, sunburn, the spotlight and attention, any sense of arrogance [especially if someone can't back it up], and any sense of threat. She dislikes messes and clutter, and flirts and people trying to get in her business.
She fears losing friends and/or family. She also fears tight spaces - claustrophobia. She hopes that no one will discover her true identity. Raewynne also fears being paralyzed or rendered immobile, and hates being sick.
One might find her restless, she is usually cloaked to obscure her hair and face. She tends to be an actress and liar, assuming a role to fit a certain situation. She's also a day-dreamer, pondering thoughts, causing her to often stare off into the distance for a moment or two, only to abruptly snap back into reality. Lastly, she's insecure and seems guarded, if one could gauge that accurately from crossed arms and reluctant answers.

Raewynne, born to Saraid and Lionel Cousland, the second born to the noble family, would have never thought her normal childhood would have led into a stranger future. It wasn't hard or demanding to receive the unconditional and supportive love of her parents and older brother. She had a great upbringing, one that would undoubtedly shape her future and path into the world.
Lionel noticed the gleaming interest in his daughter's eyes one day when he took a weekly hunting trip, noticing the piqued curiosity of his second born child. Rendon would always accompany him, but Lionel had never seen his son as interested in the hunt. For Raewynne, he assumed a hunter was born, the heart of a predator ignited by the thought of seeking out prey. So, when he deemed she was old enough, he introduced her to the luxury of hobbies: bestowing Raewynne with Eiphyre daggers and a regular bow, he sparked the nature of a huntress.
Surely her parents were surprised by the rate of growth from their daughter. She displayed a prowess of hunting that Lionel didn't even seem to have as a child. Besides hunting, she learned many things regarding the wilderness, most of which would influence and impact her ways of survival today.
As a teenager, during the middle of slumber at night, raiders attacked the wealthy estate near the better forests of Pinemarsh. Luckily, guards had notified the family of the intrusion. Awakened by her mother, the noble family assembled to develop a plan: lure the assailants outside of the estate and turn the tide inside the forest. It wasn't truly clear if the attackers were after money or rich items, considering they followed into the woods, but one thing was certain: they'd learn it was a mistake to mess with the Cousland family. The family did, however, split up, leaving Raewynne to fend for herself. Calming her being and utilizing wit, the girl used her experience to her advantage. The wilderness was another home, among the flora and fauna, they'd be wrong for crossing her there. Using cunning and fatally-graceful speed, Raewynne would advance on the raiders, the daggers and bow her body's extension. She made them pay for trying to hurt her family. Unfortunately, not that she liked to admit it, the few raiders marked the first of her human targets. And this unsettling reality that her family wouldn't be safe struck her hard. She needed to make sure they'd be protected... somehow. The very next day, Raewynne signed up to enlist for the Claws of the Imperial Army, choosing to go by the name Wynne Fletcher. She couldn't let her faults working as a ranger backfire upon the Cousland name. She'd pose as a commoner until death, maybe...
Training was difficult, surely not as flexible as hunting. But, she did her best and honed her skills, taking the time to learn from comrades so that she could better herself. The Claws allowed her to travel further than she did with her father, finding the joy in traveling. During a mission, she awakened the power of her Eiphyre daggers.
A year or more later, 'Wynne' would find herself coordinating with the Bridge-burners, a section of the imperial army ran by Captain Bard Alrikson. Perhaps fate had drawn them close, but Raewynne fell in love with the man, enjoying his company for the few years they spent together. Unfortunately, that would come to an abrupt and bitter end...
Information was gained during a mission that revealed an attack further from their location, so she, alongside many of claw members, assembled to investigate and attack the area, only to find it was a setup, more or less. With the shortened army count -- mainly just the bridge-burners occupying the swamps of Pinemarsh -- the enemy managed to annihilate most of the bridge-burner forces. Frightened and fearing the worst, she faced a major upset when the news of Bard's death swarmed the Claws stationed in that area. It was the first time she ever lost someone she cared about... Enraged and yet stricken with grief, the woman rationally decided to bury her emotions and focus on her 'career', devoting her 'life' to the ranger sect of the army. It was as if she felt there was nothing else to live for, despite her family, some friends. That death was a crushing blow, an experience she never faced before.
Soon enough, with just the right amount of devotion and skill, Raewynne was noticed by the main commander of the army, Mallach Dirson. Impressed with her skills, he appointed 'Wynne Fletcher' Commander of the Claws. Committing to her role, she decided it was best to add more secrecy to her identity, opting to only confide in those loyal that she was the leader and Wynne Fletcher; even if that was a fabricated lie as well.
That very same year, because of all the hard work and 'stigma', people dubbed her "The Banshee", a title and alias only meant to strike fear into those who would hear it -- the evildoers, essentially. She was also introduced to Malavai Eventine, the heir of that high noble household. He enlisted in the army, and based on her assets, it was decided that he would serve for her cause. She, in turn, vowed to protect him. The two bond, a friendship she would rival as close as family. The end of that year, she confided in him about her secret: she, too, was noble and a member of the Cousland household.
In recent years and currently, 'Wynne' has resumed the duties as Commander of the Claws; Malavai still glued to her side. She has aimed for as much secrecy as possible still, wishing to keep her family safe. That's the least, she believes, she can do. Time will only tell what trouble she'll get herself into.
