Yuzuki is a short female with a soft curvy frame and milky skin. Her tresses are a deep carmine color and when not in her customary side braid, the locks tend to fall in loose waves down her back though she always wears her fringe in a straight mock-widow's peak over the entirety of her forehead to her brows with chin length pieces to each side to frame the almost sultry features of her face, especially her resplendent blue eyes, a trait of the female side of the Amano family.
A firm believer in both form and function, Yuzuki wears a heavily modified uniform, consisting most notably of a pair of shorts that fall just below her knee and give the illusion of a petticoat skirt upon which a duo of teal belts hangs diagonally over, right to left, to suspend a lemon hued pouch for various objects she may need on her person, though the voluminous folds of the lower attire allows her to stash items she might not have room for, or want seen, within hidden pockets. Her top is cropped in length to the middle of her waist, just above her stomach and is cinched by a pale yellow obi with a corset center. While the rest of the upper garment is typical to most uniforms, her left shoulder is draped in a long belt matching those at her hips, which loops twice around her frame from shoulder to over the right side of her chest. This belt is used to secure Yuzuki's zanpakuto to her back with the hilt protruding over her right shoulder so that she may easily reach across and extract it from the sheath with her left hand.
Even her footwear is not customary as she wears black boots over thigh high stockings and teal leg warmers over the boots themselves. The boots allow her to traverse over most terrain without fear of issues and some items may be tucked away for safety beneath the leg warmers, while the stockings allow for light protection against some environmental hazards. Lastly, as a practitioner of Reiki, Yuzuki wears black fingerless gloves to protect the palms of her hands from coming into unwanted contact with the energy of others. They are a constant form of accessory, even in her various casual and formal attire.
Like every female born into the Amano clan, Yuzuki has a birthmark of a crescent moon with a white sheen; it is located on her right shoulder blade.

Having always been more mature than her age, Yuzuki is of a reserved nature and rarely provoked to extremes of emotion. She is soft-spoken and typically stiff around people with the exception of her family, children, and any patient she is tending to at the time, though a few others have been known to get past her social discomfort and become close to her, enabling them to see her warm nurturing side and her quirky sense of humor. Otherwise, she is polite and considerate when someone engages her in conversation, but tends to be unobtrusive and blend into the background where she can observe and evaluate situations and people, who are often surprised to find that she knows their names when they have no idea who she is because of this habit, which has also afforded her a relatively keen ability at reading between the lines. Despite her conservative nature, Yuzuki has very deep rooted beliefs and morals and does not find herself easily swayed from them nor backs down from confrontation to uphold these values. Though a medic and a healer at heart, she has no qualms with combat, believing that removing potential threats to the well being of others, especially Hollow, is just another part of doing her job.[History]
The ways of the Amano family dictate how Yuzuki spends much of her free time when off duty, but she enjoys her usual tasks of watching the younger children and working in the garden as well as alternating shifts with the other women of the clan to tend to the sick or injured relatives among other things. When not required to help out with familial chores, Yuzuki likes to read, or practice taijiquan, yoga, meditation, and flower arranging. Occasionally, she ventures out into the Rukongai to acquire items she can't find in Seireitei, such as certain stones and materials she requires for her holistic practices.

Yuzuki was born to Hazuki and Satoshi of the Amano family as a member of the ninth generation during the spring of 1876 n.w. As per the customs of the family, she was trained in a variety of matters that included, but were not limited to, healing practices which she excelled in. Upon turning one hundred, Yuzuki joined the Gotei and was placed into the Second Division as an unseated member.

Taking on the form of a tall willowy woman, Lillium cuts a striking figure. This is aided by her unusual coloring with her hair and skin transitioning from pinks, to oranges, to yellows, though her mane, worn both with braids and loose down her back, is more vivid than her skin which is blanched to almost a normal gradient of skin tones. Upon her shoulders and even her face, which has a feline quality to it, the female spirit bears black spots similar to those on the petals of a tiger lily. Her eyes are perhaps the most natural looking part of her features, being a stunning golden shade. Lillium wears a simple shift of emerald silk that cascades over her thin form to pool at her bare feet and twisting circlets of gold on the upper portion of each arm. Much like Yuzuki, Lillium is a reserved being, though more void of varying emotions than her counterpart whom she has an amiable relationship with.

The realm of Yuzuki's inner world takes on the appearance of Yuzuki's family home with the large estate forming wings to house the various members, though they are absent from the replica. Even the landscape matches exactly with the areas for gardening, farming, raising animals, watching the children, and everything in between. It exists as such to define the mental order prevalent in both Yuzuki and Lillium. The latter is usually found in the garden. Echos of personal memories, both visual and audible, flit through landscape giving life to an otherwise still environment. The types of memories appearing depend on Yuzuki's current mood and mental state.[Sealed][Shikai]
In its sealed form, Lillium is a standard katana in both size and shape. The hilt is wrapped in matte black fabric, though the underneath, which shows through the typical diamond pattern openings, is a warm orange color. The pommel and the metal collar at the base of the blade are a pale gold color as is the guard which is in the shape of an opened lily. The blade itself is a typical metallic silver. As for the sheath, the length of it matches the black of the hilt's fabric, but with a dull luster and the ribbon forming the sageo matches the accent orange of the underneath. The mouth of the sheath and end cap are pale gold and while the former is a plain band, the latter is formed in the shape of lily petals closing down over the top portion of the sheath.

In Shikai, Lillium maintains the base form of a katana though the blade is slightly longer. The bindings of the hilt are a deep emerald with the diamond openings contrasting in a lighter shade of celadon. The guard is formed by four golden points representing leaves. From the guard, an orange and pink hued metallic tiger lily folds over the lower half of the blade which is now golden in color. A chain and counterweight extend from the pommel to help balance the sword. They match the blade and guard in color and the weight is in the shape of a small lily.

Hajikeru / Burst - The lily blooms instantaneously and releases a spray of golden pollen in the direction it is facing to form a large cloud; the pollen also coats the blade upon being released. If the pollen is absorbed, either by inhalation or entering the bloodstream through an open wound or one caused by the coated blade, it causes the victim's heart rate to increase exponentially. This causes wounds to bleed more profusely. Because the blood is pumping so quickly, it also does not have time to coagulate. The more emotional or active a person is during this time, the more the pollen effects them as their heart rate is already naturally increased. This can of course lead to other physical issues such as cardiac arrest in extreme cases.[Bankai]
- The lily closes four posts after each use and can be made to bloom once every five posts.
- Unabsorbed pollen that remains in the air or on the blade is harmless after two posts of being released.
- The pollen reaches out 7'0'' / 213 cm past the tip of the blade for a total of a 10'0'' / 305 cm diameter cloud.
- The pollen induced effects last for three posts, but the victim must return to a regular heartbeat in a normal manner as it is not instant due to whatever their activity level, emotional state, and physical condition/conditioning is at the time.
- While ocular absorption does not occur, getting the pollen in one's eye hurts much like if they had sand there thus evoking similar reactions.
- Repeated exposure in one encounter to the pollen's effects can lead to permanent damage.
"Bankai; Nohana Lillium." / "Bankai; Wildflower Lillium."[Attack]
An avatar form of Bankai at its finest, the release of Lillium to its second stage brings forth a large tiger; part feline, part metal flora. A multi-hued plate turning out in a petal flourish to each side adorns the tiger's face behind which are deep set golden eyes. Thick fangs curve down past the bottom of the hinged jaw piece, allowing the mouth to open so the teeth can be used for combat. The hardened addition to natural form continues into both a petal shaped chest piece adhered to a thick collar and into a five-petal saddle. The back petal curves up high enough to form a comfortable protective backing for the rider and the side petals form a guard where the rider's legs reside when mounted. Behind the ornate saddle stems the tail, comprised of sharpened leaf blades of the same material the armor consists of. Each paw is completed with claws that, even when retracted, protrude past the beds.
- The tiger is approximately 4'0'' / 1 m at the shoulder, 10'0'' / 3 m long, and has a 5'0'' / 1.5 m long tail.

Sougou / Synthesis - A passive which enables Yuzuki and the tiger to work in tandem by rapidly extending and retracting the chain at will to meet their combat needs and perfect their synchronization by allowing non-verbal communication between the two when Yuzuki is in contact with the sword.[Attack]
- Range of chain extension does not exceed 98'6'' / 30 m.
- The chain length can be changed twice per post.
- If Yuzuki is not in contact with the sword, verbal commands must be used.
- The tiger cannot be directed by anyone else even if they are in contact with the sword.
Koshou / Tiger's Howling - A heavily concussive blast of pollen like that from the Shikai attack, but filled with sharp metal blades in the shape of small golden lily petals that is released from the tiger's maw in a heated and deafening roar.
- Koshou can be used once every three posts.
- The effect of the pollen is exact to that of Shikai.
- The pollen remains in a perfect sphere formation until impact.
- The range of attack is approximately 82'0'' / 25 m.
- The sphere of pollen is approximately 10'0'' / 305 cm in diameter.
